- Actual Tank Commander plays War Thunder and it doesn't go well. Premium Helicopters in War Thunder have always been a bit of a problem but when it's a lower BR helicopter, it's even worse.

the only way spawn camping is explainable is if the whole enemy team has pushed you are your allies back to your spawn not some individuals feeling special
Can’t even use it in Heli EC either, because MI-24’s will just steal all the kills before you can get there.

This was the first US helicopter when they added choppers years ago.
So whats really interesting is that the xm30 gunpods actually are modeled historically so that the rounds have max pen around 900-1000 meters (around 39mm of pen) and lower pen in close range. It also helps to go in custom loadouts and remove the 40mm so your not blinded by the flash of the 40mm in sniper view. Otherwise a pretty banger heli once you get the guns down especially considering how devestating the 30mms are
This chopper has been in the game for a long time, was first chopper prem that i bought when choppers first came out lol. The huey is great!, you're also able to take the 40mm off the nose
I do feel like sometimes people spawn camp unintentionally, which is more of a map/spawn problem, maps should either have spawns that are safe from sniping, or just snipping spots are lower down then spawns which then promotes reverse spawn camping. So maps or spawns that would have players be put out of view of enemys, the current spawning is nice and predictable, but also sadly predictable for enemies.
There aren't many games that make me wanna throw my fist through my monitor. But War Thunder is up there 😂

I got this chopper awhile ago, before they removed it and before Ka-50. I found that weapon selection fixes the inconsistency with the 40mm GL and the gunpods.
you can take 3 tows, x1 30mm and 19x rockets plus the 40mm but i dont take it, the guns are weird but if you can get used to them you can make them do work
idk if you can do that anymore. I tried to swap weapons around but it looks like you can only have one weapon on each side unless it's the minigun or rocket pods.
my present still exists, and I haven't flown it in months, so idk why you can't
i think that random spawn positions could help with spawncamping. enemy team would not see spawns on the map and they would be random for bouth teams each game so u know the general direction which they are coming from but not the exact position. this esentialy blocks players in fast vechicles from rushing spawn at the start of the game
Yeah, I think it shouldn't be 1.0 up and down, I think it would be more fun even at 0.3 up and down. Either that or take the top BR to 15.0
With plenty of maps you take a pathway, face maybe a little bit of resistance, and suddenly you're at the enemy's spawn, and it's more dangerous to go back to the capture point. Best way to handle this would be more spawn points - there's clearly no thought put into how Gaijin implements spawns. There's many quick fixes they could implement within hours and deploy via patch.
I had a teammate shoot at me while I was climbing up a hill, it was a 3v7 situation and the moment I topped the hill because I was already right there, at least 4 tanks shot at me. Luckily the T-55 absorbs damage through the cannon breach
Hueys are really famous helicopters actually.

I hate uptiers, and yeah some vehicles do really well on a uptier and some do really poorly in their own br, game makes weird choices. also the spawn camper fix doesnt help much, since knowing where the spawn camper is isnt the problem its that even though you know where they are, they can always just push back after getting a kill, then back out when you look away or spawn in unaware. If they did punish people for spawn camping that would punish new players more than the actual abusers which sucks.

I wanted to play this game and I downloaded it but seem my pc can't handle this beast so I just watch wt gameplay
I wish war thunder add more player ground troops and navy ships.
i started this game 36 days ago. by day 4 i was leaving br 3.3 on american. which jumped to 5.0. ive been uptiered easily 90% of all my games since. I'm dead serious when i say id rather wait 10 minutes for a equal tier game vs 3 seconds to jump in an uptier. im at 8.3 now. and die almost instantly to tanks from over 1k away with their laser range finders. its almost enough to make me want to put the game down and play something else. it isnt fun.
Higher BRs you got to change your play style no more relying on rushin and armour
@@Amk4421 that has nothing to do with it. An 8.3 tank with no laser range finder isn’t winning a long range fight against laser range finder tanks. Uptier system is stupid

HOTAS heli is a whole new experience in WT. I recommend Thrustmaster t16000m FCS if you're interested.

Probably the only one I actually DO see. It's all the others that I rarely see: Type 74, Type 60, STB, STA, etc.

Sometimes, yeah but then they are also easy to kill. So, it can be pretty satisfying to finally catch them haha

There's a difference between a jet being up and a jet circling the helibase tho. Especially now the near helibase AA doesn't do damage.

👍. Warthunder won’t penalise or ban players because they would loose their statistics & money. Their greed allows for the abusive, cheating & team killers to keep playing.

the player base is the games no.1 enemy. Spawn campers and people playing CAS the whole match bombing everyone again and again, it ruins the game for everyone else, but the dopamine for space baring while flying past a player at speeds they usually wont notice, must be great id assume. I dont think players would mind CAS if there was a realistic gamemode that didnt have it that people could swap to from time to time.
