Heli PvE is pretty fun. AA is challenging if you don't have guided ammunition, but you can use terrain for cover, unless the map is flat...and there's at least one flat map in rotation. They should remove it. Anyway, covid is running away from, so the next video won't take this long ;)

Few people dont know that after you cap A you need to land in your base (helibase) to complete the task. If you press M after caprturing you can see the task of landing.
Real Gs know that you can just J out while landed at the cap point, and respawn at the base for minimal SL cost. This will immediately fail the task, but you still get the points for it.
The biggest problem with heli pve is that is that at greater distances (>3km) the *moving* tanks don't render where their hitboxes are. They sometimes fly in the air if they're going over the hill. So it's frustrating without fire and forget missiles at the lower
@@valeralishko8125 i ground my tiger UHT with the premuim Bo-105 and the techtree mi-24 before PvE existed in PvP, it was the 'rona time and had no job at the time, but it was actually worse than having to grind through 3 sabres to get something useful in the german plane tree
yeah we call it aberration in cosmology! I sniped and destroyed the bases with stock helis out of range from falcons('manned' ballistics) but have to watch out the rolands over 9.7 :) Plus, Mi-4 the ruslan potato is terribly awfully terrible....

Heli PvE on its early inception was a damn fun way to stock grind your helis before Gaijin found you you can have fun in the mode so they nerf the hell outta base destruction xp(before it was way,WAY bigger).Nowadays it is better if you just hunt down enemy convoys or if you have AT missiles,hunt down enemy AAs. For base AA,if you have Hellfires/Vikhr,stay afloat at 7.5 km from base aa and brrrt those missiles away because fun fact,enemy AA missiles cannot yeet you above 7.5 km. Its fun with friends. edit:oh yeah,AH-1 series is the most fun one out of heli stock.Once you have 40mm,you gonna be terrorizing the shit outta those convoys.
helis with angled hardpoints are the hardest to use the cockpit sight for, helis with level hardpoints to the chassis like the Hueys are the easiest to aim with the cockpit sight, regardless though IMO cockpit aiming dumb fire rockets in helis is the best and far better than the 3rd person rocket marker.

Yup, discovered this mode thanks to this video. Big fun of "apache air assault" and this looks like a good substitute. How one can get into it the fastest and at least somewhat cheap way?
@@RMMinc first ya gotta have a helicopter so whatever nation that has one and then have at it All nations require you have a 7.0 br air or ground vehicle to buy a heli unless it's premium, so there isn't necessarily an easiest one unless you pick a nation with less stuff on the tech tree I'd say americas first heli is probably the best first helicopter in my opinion. Until hellfires they have probably the worst range for their ATGM's but their helicopters are maneuverable and fast and if you get good with rockets or their nade launchers it's really fun and gives excellent XP!
Heli PVE was the first thing I did when I got the fire and forget AGMs for the tiger UHT. Probably the easiest way to farm SL. Also kinda satisfying to destroy all the AA in a convoy.
I got a perfect 8/8 killfeed with the PARS and I could watched all the atgms just being perfectly synchronized. It was like rain coming down on the tanks and then there was a target destroyed sound every 1 sec. It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw

Much harder to achieve against convoys, since as someone said above, at longer ranges the game sucks at rendering them, and renders models away from their hitboxes, and Vikhrs lock onto models, unlike the PARS which lock onto hitboxes.
im not much of a heli pilot in WT, but i got myself few long test flights of premium mi24 for bonds and i have one good advice for begginers: when flying fast, lower the "colector" slightly before any turns, when engaging tanks; also pay atention to the color of "RPM" on left and " vertical acceleration" on right side.
And you can put it in hover above convoy after you kill AA and just use gun or if you set it straight over convoy, you can hold C, gun aims in free look too.
Tip for the AH-1G and others with rockets, set a key bind for your rockets to be sent out in a barrage instead of individually. You wont have to spam the button for your rockets. You can even remove the key bind for your rockets and set it to fire rocket barrage in the controls settings. Then in a match you can change the number of rockets fired in a barrage. When holding down your key bind for the rocket barrage, it'll spam the rockets instead of you spamming the key to spam rockets
Hey Dollar, I've been looking forward to a video like this. You even went in with my favorite helicopter with which I already made around 780 kills in PvE. The gamemode was easier but the AAs got a buff in the Danger Zone update. Anyways I love your videos and keep making the fantastic content! ;D

yeah while it suffers from lack of ATGM for SPAA counter in this mode, its also faster and carries much more payload than the majority of starter helis for other countries. Esp some of the hueys that only get 14ish of those hydra rockets.

Still remember doing this damnit mode on the first Germany helicopter. God, that was frickin hell, having only 4 hand guided rockets and heli without any armour, one hit and u was dead. Now on tiger UHT it's fun, u shot 8 missiles, kill 8 targets from 7km and in meanwhile can shoooooot at planes with stingers
Yes! They DID finally fix the decal scaling! I can actually use my regular sizing system for all my vehicles again, thankfully. Had it all planned out and it worked perfectly on damn near every tank, and now it's back to normal. Had to go back and resize all the ones I had to vaguely estimate in the meantime, but it was worth it.
@@DOLLARplays There were benefits to the precision you could get with the bugged scaling, but it took forever, and I was tired of guessing the correct sizes I needed. Maybe I'm just weird, one of the few people who puts effort into historical decals.
Main problem here at heli PvE it's a problem "if you wanna have fun, ssy goodbye to ur money" because of huge repair/respawn prices. And some helis have they extremely high. Like german first heli. It was a 2-3k per spawn and now are 17k when you have timed payment like a 8--10k per 10 minutes...

I miss the old heli EC, it was horrible for anything below 10.7, but it was fun to farm KA-50s once you got to top tier. Especially on the mountain maps.
It may have sucked but the city map, that was (even for my piss poors stock German starter heli, when it had the rockets) was beautiful, taught me how to fly, how to dodge etc, managed to kill a few KA 50s too
ngl, it was horrible. But man did I earn a shit ton of RP whilst getting stomped by Ka-50's, I used to get 50k+ rp whilst suffering and not even doing that much (Mi-24P HFS-80) But rn if I am by far the best in the team I only get 15k RP because of the premium bonuses, it would be 5k rp without them...
My favorite part in Heli PvE is, when the AA spawns directly below you ._. Nice to see you taking to the air again Dollar ;) I wonder what will come next, keep up this amazing work :D
1:43 I find that the new customization with resizing decals and placing decorations has been totally broken. Like the decorations spawn backwards and often spaz out when you move them around the vehicle to places no where near the cursor. And the decals being so quick to resize means that precise sizes is really annoying. I had decals placed before they changed it and then when I tried placing new ones at the same size I find that the size doesn’t match, like they cut out the finer sizes and it just jumps sizes as your scroll wheel moves. To get specific sizes you have to either make it as small as possible and then bring the size back up, or make it as big as possible and then resize it down. That way you can get the different sizes that were cut out of the original scroll. I hope that made sense. So yeah it’s good for memers that want the decal as huge as possible to cover the tank and who take 5 seconds tops to finish customizing. But for someone who wants a precise size and placements it’s fucking horrible.

I didn't know it was a keybind but you can keybind 'Rocket Salvo' which helps a lot in my experience. You fire 1 or 2 rockets to get it right and then rocket salvo a few. Glad to see helikopta videos as much as I love your naval dollar :) Also did grind on AH-1G recently and once you unlock more rocket and the 40mm grenade doinker it lets you top down those tanks 🙏Bless Dollar

Ive been around the PVE a while i remember when the P-38s would just blatantly go out of their way to attack you especially when you spawn, the AA has went from being OP to dogshit to, you gotta have skill in the past year i've used it to grind out the american heli's. Its slow but only really okay way to grind for helis, also remember when the repair cost was like piss cheap.

I would absolutely love it to get the UHT with PARS but I still need to grind through the Bo 105 PAH 1A1 with the Mi-24P HFS-80 and it's so slowwwwww

You can use hover mode on helicopter, that will make your landing easier (assign button for hover mode)
The second time I did it, I used "hover mode"

just proves how good the ah-1 was as a early attack chopper, shame most countries don't have anything really too compete with

You could always resize decals. It helps to have an unlocking scroll wheel that spins really fast, like Logitech makes them.

I didn't know it was a keybind but you can keybind 'Rocket Salvo' which helps a lot in my experience. You fire 1 or 2 rockets to get it right and then rocket salvo a few. Glad to see helikopta videos as much as I love your naval dollar :)
Also did grind on AH-1G recently and once you unlock more rocket and the 40mm grenade doinker it lets you top down those tanks 🙏Bless Dollar

Ive been around the PVE a while i remember when the P-38s would just blatantly go out of their way to attack you especially when you spawn, the AA has went from being OP to dogshit to, you gotta have skill in the past year i've used it to grind out the american heli's. Its slow but only really okay way to grind for helis, also remember when the repair cost was like piss cheap.
