My Model Railway

Over thirty years ago I started building this model railway. During that time it suffered two major setbacks, moving house and the foam underlay turning to dust. The layout had recently remained unused for six years due to the problem with the underlay, which caused the track to drop; the fixing pins consequently fouled the underside of the trains resulting in frequent derailments. Not a problem where the lines were in the open, but a different matter when it came to tunnels. A year or so ago I started experimenting with ways to put things right, but I still wanted to retain the 3D effect that comes with raising the track on underlay. The layout is not quite finished, giving me the opportunity to make follow on videos about scenery and accessories that simply were not available when I started. I will also cover how I repaired the track and take a look at new locomotives, rolling stack and items of scenery as they arrive.
