Facts on all 3. Been following all your programs. And noticed I needed a deload week before the deload week. And have adjusted accordingly with your help. Went from benching 300 for 1. Up to 300 x 5. Thanks Matt and your team for being awesome and pushing out quality.
I noticed my barbell military press just wasn't going up after about six months so I switched to single arm kettlebell presses for 8 weeks and then went back to the barbell and magically my previous PR went up like it was a freaking warm up set. Matt your advice is gold sir!
This should have to go without being said, but Matt’s tips and advice are helping me push past my plateaus. I share the vids and info with my friends so we can all adapt and learn.
I've found Tren'ing hard and Clen eating has always help out! But on the real real, I only run a program for PL about 9-10 months then do a BB split for 2-3 months then back to PL....it's helped me stay in the game since being 16yrs old to my current age of 46. Thanks for the great vids Matt!
6 people watered their flower too much. Zatsiorsky, Sif, Verkhoshansky, Poliquin, Sheiko, Tatsouline are some of the people I read frequently and have done so for over a decade. You can never know enough. Sports evolve, genetics evolve. Gotta keep up. Great video bro
This is helpful information and all of this can be solved by fine tuning your programming and implementing a De-load every mesocycle. While I agree you don't want massive 3 hour blocks of training time each day I'd like to see the research that you begin a "catabolic" phase after a hour. Especially, if your nutrition is on par and you are implementing smart pre and post workout meals. And that's not even taking in consideration working the entire body during the workout. Working 2 hours on chest alone might be detrimental but full body training is going to spread out the fatigue that you are culminating. You have to take in consideration rest periods as well. If you happened to be focused on power in a given training phase you'll want 3-5 mins between sets. Add in multiple warm up sets to finally get to a working set and a squat session alone can take a very long time.
Well put into words: A theory remains a theory if not applied anywhere to see how it copes in the real world or if it can stand the test of time. If you wanna learn, learn from the best, period. Roaming around the internet over the years, I came across many videos, channels and theories and couldn't find a channel of equal quality of straightforward info, no BS, lackluster or sugar coated crap..
Awesome information. Also each time I watch your contents this intro-outro kicks in, really high quality work i must say. Can you share the name of the music?
Everybody wants to be a robot or a beast in the gym.. nobody wants to be more intentional about it the progress and weight. Myself Included sometimes. I’m always wanting to go heavy vs volume and sometimes you gotta work both spectrums for further ability.
The fact that quality videos like this exist and Matt isn’t at 100k (let alone 1M) is mind boggling.
Plain fucking sucks. Oh well
Unbelievable how a phony with no credentials like Jason Bloho is at 110k!!! .
Pure knowledge here from an accredited individual.
Rep quality. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast 💨
