You da best. I have been spending countless hours trying to find a no screw option as I'm uncertain on the type of security camera I want to invest long term. Hate to drill in screws only for me to change. This really helps a lot. Thank you so much.
@@AllThingsCool Can you please share your thoughts? I want to use this for a Blink Outdoor. I was thinking it would be better if it's hung from the top and I can adjust the angle as needed. So trying to decide between this and the wasserstein door mount that goes over the top. I like that this can't be stolen vs wasserstein but is there any way that the camera can be angled using you think? If so then I can put it over the top of the door. I saw your other review for the mount where you can adjust the angles but that one is only for doorbells right?
Great Video Questions: 1. The door has to be less than 2 inches correct? Lastly: How does this work if I live in an apartment and I’m not home and maintenance and or there inspection and I’m out of town? Can they take the ring Mount off once their inside? And of course I’ll know which day they arrive Ty
@@AllThingsCool Thank you ! Wow! So what would you suggest for a Mount I hv the new revised 2020 Ring Video Camera. I’m not comfortable getting this if someone enters my place like staff.. ? Any suggestions like some sort of 3M Mount I can use on my door that will work without drilling or falling off since I can’t drill to mount.. ty
Informative video. Unfortunately, the Doorbellboa didn't work on my door. Not enough room between the door and the frame and so my door wouldn't close.
Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa
not sure to be honest but its worth it to try use my link in the description box to buy it through amazon if it doesn't work they have a easy return policy
@@AllThingsCool Thanks! Almost all Florida condos and apartments have doors that open outward. All these devices say for Inward Doors only, but I do not see why it wouldn't work since the arm can be installed from the left or right. Yes, I am going to order and try it. My door may not close, but worth a try. I am ordering the Ring 2 since I have no doorbell or wiring. I just did not want to use tape to mount to get stolen, and this device seems to be the answer! Will let you know if it works, as there are thousands of doors in this development that open outward and have this mounting issue.
stealing it in this box would be a little harder then if it wouldn't be in the box.. bottom line is if someone what's something they will find a way to steal it

Did you happen to find one that worked for you ? I had the same issue.
@@VMS3818 Unfortunately not.
Did either of you find one yet? Im having the same issue

Will the doorbell boa work with a ring solar charger?? Ty
don't think so
Is there a mount for sliding doors?
for what camera?
What if someone just break up the foam holders and takes the camera?
The video of them doing so will be on your app.
Is the housing make of plastic or metal?
I just got the Google Nest doorbell and I do not want to drill anything. Do you think it will fit in the boa?

Yes
That only fit battery model right??
correct
My door is hard to close on my new home, the previous home I stayed at, the door closed perfectly
Can it work with the solar panel?
no

Do you lose the motion sensor sensor feature on this ?
no
@@AllThingsCool sold !! Lol
Wondering if there is one for the euphy dual camera doorbell. Been searching and no luck.
I didn't see one specifically for it but this one is a universal type so if the measurements of the mount are big enough to fit it it should work
Does anybody know what I can do for an outward opening door? I’m at an apartment and there is no holders for my kind of door.
Same here. Most doors in South Florida are made like that.
Thank you for video
no problem glad it helped !
Very helpful, thanks!

So Awesome - Thank you.

Can't they just break off that mount and move it down by their feet so people can't see their face?
Can you angle the blink in it?
a little
I have this door mount for my blink doorbell camera but what I've noticed is that the motion sensor does not work does anyone else having this issue
Thank you so helpful
Would this work if you have a screen (security) ?
no
I have a screeeeen and not wired for doorbell
I have to remove it every time I charge it?
yes but it's not difficult

Terrible construction
I like the design it allows you to install multiple security cameras in it
