I just finished a baby sweater and beanie. The sweater is the Gidday sweater and the beanie is quick ombré hat. Both were super easy and free patterns. Your shawl choices are fabulous. I have FOMO for the MKAL, but have too many projects going to make it happen.
I was initially disappointed when you decided not to use the purple/grey combo, but you chose such gorgeous colors! I can’t wait to see how they work up together. 💜💜💜
Ive just finished a neckline where picking up stitches was involved ... I can relate to your issue of having to recount and adjust until you had the right number lol.
Hello from south suburbs of Chicago. Love what you are doing with your dyed yarns and I think a pale pink would be neutral enough for the dot pullover that would accentuate the noro. I'm doing the west Mkal as well so I can't wait to see your colors evolve. Have you been to yarnify, they have a nice selection of yarns too. Happy knitting and thanks for sharing.

I'm mixing up my choices that may make people cringe, but I'm working on a super limited budget. My yarn is a light grey, 2 different skeins of a pink ( one fuscia one a deep pink) and a deep color for the accent that has streaks of all the other colors. Sorry I'm not sure how to spell fuschia.
I knit for an hour in the morning before I wake the kids up for school, before bed as much as I can stay awake, and whenever I am sitting around in school pickup line or activities (ballet, swimming, etc). It really adds up 😊

I knitted the Hanstholm sweater for my husband this year in Rowan Felted Tweed and he loves it - the folded neckline looks great :)
