The short answer is yes, I leased a 2023 Highlander platinum, more luxurious than my Lexus, the four-cylinder turbo has amazing power everything that I need from a large 12.3 inch screen, panoramic sunroof, digital rearview mirror, folding mirrors, Carmel interior, and heated rear seats to mention a few. Toyota has always been extreme reliability, very proud to own this !!!
@@euci3207ouch, you sure are right, if they love living on the edge or enjoy new car every few years, lease it is. I just hate how the insurance is so high on lease vehicle , but it’s all fair game.
I loved the interior and extra features of the platinum for a few thousand more. I bought the 2024 Limited instead. Why? I did not want the panoramic sunroof. Cracked glass and exploding glass. Cost to replace. $ 11,000. When the shade is open, the pieces of glass have fallen inside and called health problems. Gvt investigation but no action taken. Toyota insists rocks cause the problem. No way to prove otherwise. An $ 11,000 repair. Shame. I loved the platinum camera and interior.
I just bought the 2024 Limited, gas turbo. Had the Venza Hybrid. Prefer the gas turbo. Gas model prices are definitely negotiable. List $ 51,008. Paid $ 47,300. No junk No junk port add ons. I did like the platinum, but I was concerned about the cracking and exploding sunroof. Too many complaints, Toyota won’t acknowledge it. One lady said hers exploded when she had two toddlers in the second row. The shade was closed. When she opened it, the shade was full of broken glass. The kids could have been badly injured.
Never owned a toyota but thinking about getting the new highlander.not in love with the back of it tho. haven't heard anything bad from people who I know owned one.. For the ones who say no, what are you basing your opinion on?
Yep, my 2024 Cadillac XT4 (0-60 in 7 sec) is quicker than my 2014 Toyota Highlander (0-60 in 7.6 sec) that I traded in. XT4 also handles better too. I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4 this past weekend (the 2024 highlander drove the same and is pretty much the same chasis and interior so it's boring). The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag). The Cadillac has these features that RUclipsrs miss: - lighted logo behind the dashboard - pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep) - left behind child in the rear seat alert - capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 ) - umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce) - active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose) - power passenger seat with lumbar - free 5G hotspot - stop/start feature is the smoothest I’ve ever experienced that I don't even notice it. My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.
🖐😳 was considering a Highlander and recently spent a week driving the California coast in a rented 2024. The week convinced me to take it off my possibles list. Drive is ok, not great, inside is cheap plastic everywhere and looks cheap too. The dash layout is the most jumbled, confused dash I’ve ever seen. Pretty thirsty on gas too. To my surprise, definite pass.

I have had cars with a sunroof. Just a waste of good money at my age. Back when I was on a pum pum hunt it made some sense. Thx. for the tip.

I really wish they would offer the adaptive headlights as a standalone option.
❤❤❤ when is the release date for 2024 highlander ?
What fuel consumption in litres please
I’ll get the XSE with awd and a 12inc screen. At $49k
I am 6'3, how is headroom?
Got the Limited gas turbo. Wanted power folding side windows.
Great video
Cvt trans?
i think hybrids are the best choice these days these days. thx for the vid!
Get the hybrid LE nightshade. No turbo
That storage space below the screen looks...strange
Thank you for your info 👍
Not crazy about the turbo, but I'll have to watch a few times to decide which one I'm aiming for.
Nightshade LE sounds like a winner.
Limited might work, but if the electrical system goes nuts it sounds like you're left with a barebones model.
The xse with bells and wistles is the best
Sh... 50k for a Highlander...
In Europe: 70-75k EUR or CHF 😢
Crazy price difference...

My car
None, they need to update the exterior big time. Hopefully in 2025. 😂
8” infotainment screen!? 🤣 what a joke. Kia & Hyundai give you 12”.
Wow, another good V6 has gone to the turbo crap. 💩 Next, they will be putting a CVT transmission in it. Sad !!!
NONE not with no 4 cylinder turbo guess it Honda again
The short answer is NONE 😆
It looks like truck with long sunroof, ugly
Boring
