It feels weird watching this in two ways. First it's weird that this isn't Avalanche anymore. And secondly it's weird how there's no Volcano next to it anymore. I wonder how weirder it will feel once they build a replacement next to it.
I agree with that but it fits the theme of the new area much much better
They should have kept the name snow themed being that it’s a bobsleigh coaster. Now it just doesn’t make sense

This looks way smoother and more forceful than any other bobsled ride I have been on, would love to get on this one some day. Intimidator 305 looks wicked from the lift hill, too.
This is the only bobsled coaster I’ve ridden but I love it!
Looks quicker than it did before the rebrand... actually looks snappy. Lack of trims really seems to make or break these bobsleds!

This is a great P.O.V, thank you. It seems that the ride could be a little more longer, coz i think its to short. It looks faster than 41 mph. But, i think that 41 is a safe speed for this track.

Yeah, they definitely missed out on a potential joint marketing opportunity with Mattel, and didn’t even think about the similarities to a kid’s Hot Wheels track set. That was the very first thing I thought of while watching this video…

I don't know the song, but the Beach Boys had a song in which there is a reference to "The FlyingTurns." The reference is to an amusement park ride in Cleveland's defunct Euclid Beach park. It was a ride much like this one.
It is not trackless, Its a bobsled. That trough still counts as track.
And if you still don't count that as track, look at the lift hill, break runs, and the station.

Went on this back when it was still Avalanche. Was by far the weakest bobsled coaster I've ever done. Hopefully it's running better now.

@@TheCoasterScoop I need to try that one! If the line wasn't so long when we went I would have. I didn't really care for the anaconda but those types of rides aren't my thing. I'd definitely like tumbili!

It is ! Its as far back in jungle expedition to the left. If looking at Tumbili you walk futher past that going back to a dead end of back for this ride.
Is it possible for someone to go fast enough to fly off the track? 😂 this looks like a lot of fun!
It’s got rails on the sides so even if it was fast enough that wouldn’t happen haha
You can tho actually control your ride a bit by shifting your center of gravity going into the turns. I have written this countless times when it was Avalanche and you learn how to move higher up the side wall the more you ride it.

How did you get permission to film this? I've tried and they force me to remove my gopro every time. How did you do it?
You have to ask the park usually a week or two in advance and have them approve it first, and it has to be a very specific kind of camera with a very specific kind of strap
I prefer the no rail coasters.....they just aren't long enough.

That's where the old volcano was. Rumor has it that might be where the next coaster goes in 2024.

quick question how do they let you record? I went to kings dominion yesterday and they let me in with my gopro it had a body strap but they wouldnt let me record on the rides

They’re fun, and there are not many of them. It’s a good family coaster. Not everything has to be I305.

Did you just call a bobsled "Trackless"?
I’m aware it’s a bobsled, trackless is just referring to the fact that it doesn’t utilize normal coaster track and rides in a trough for some parts of the ride. Also many parks with these rides refer to them as trackless

@@QDude24 It really isn't a track per se. This ride will be a little different based on the weight of the people in the train and what they do with it. There is some license given to the riders how it moves through the trough. On a track every ride is identical.
