    KD is Eventually gonna Crown BGW if they make more Major Investiments

    • @slumpdogyt
      @slumpdogyt 3 месяца назад +4

      also BGW is out of space, plus has to listen to noise laws. KD has tons of land left to expand and even could acquire more of the forests around the park. Also, KD doesnt have any restrictions on what they can and can't due as theres nothing really around the park.

      @@slumpdogytKD would need to place infrastructure in the unused land before any attractions could be added, but they still have space in the main park to get creative. I’m so glad their going to be back up to 15 coasters again. It was a bit concerning when they dropped to 12.

      @@scottnelson9 oh a lot of areas already have some infrastructure from past stuff. But yeah they have a good setup to build KD up now that they are done fixing up a lot of old stuff.

    Wings and Dives attract GP like crazy. It would have been foolish to let BG have both.

    I think they should change the name of Intimidator 305 from Expedition 305 to King Cobra and paint it to resemble the colors of a cobra or Cheetah Run, I know there is Cheetah Hunt but Cheetah Run is more fitting with how fast 305 is with its whippet turns and transitions.

      Cheetahs don’t inhabit jungles and the temporary sign has leopard rosettes.

    I would actually love to see KD get a Mac Hyper-coaster, perhaps within the empty space to the right of grizzly. It would check off the park having a hyper coaster AND be different than BGWs B&M hyper

    I personally think they missed the boat. I think they would have been better served with a launched flying coaster from B&M. Flying through Jungle Expedition would have been AMAZING

    • @scottnelson9
      @scottnelson9 3 месяца назад +3

      Someone made an entire video about Cedar Fair completely avoiding B&M flying models because they can be rough. They’ve also never to dare attempted to launch one of those models, while the flying model currently has multiple in operation.

    Worst experience ever, 85% of the rides were not working or rusted like crazy. Several peanuts statues were falling over and had dirt and rust on them, plants and trees not tended to and over growing and the staff was very unpleasant, especially at the restaurants other than management. Management was great. Pay to go to this park for two days and spend almost 1200$ for everything only to find out 75% of the park was closed on those two days, which was never mentioned in there app before purchasing. Kings Dominion is far from being the best in the country, instead of adding new rides they should be investing in refurbishing everything in that park, but they added a vip section to the park that looked 100 times better than the park itself and are now adding another ride to be neglected.

      Went there yesterday and saw none of what you said, in fact it’s as clean as I’ve seen the park in 20 years and the park has never been a dirty or beat up park ever so to say it’s as clean as ever means it’s looking great.

      It was the highlight of my multi-park trip with my dad last summer, there was something special about it. I think this new coaster is gonna make this park something truly special.
