A BIG thank you for your coverage on this! My husband and I watched so many stonepour DIY and we felt most comfortable in your way of the DIY and you’re right. The result of the swirl patterns look so great and natural afterwards. I’d say we did “almost” as good as your direction lol. I say this because we had a couple bits of snags... We didn’t consider the surface is not quite leveled, so hence the trouble we found during pouring, so I had to stop a bit pouring while my husband shimmed the counter! Then second thing is that we waited a bit too long from the 1.5 hour wait so the liquid didn’t pour out well after removing the masking tape around the edges. But we had made do with it and fixed what we can and looks great 👍 thank you thank you thank you!
Man, you're sooo good at EVERYTHING you do and fix. I ALWAYS pick up new tips and tricks from watching your videos. God bless you and your beautiful family. Take care, be safe and please give your brother and sister in law our best wishes in these difficult trying times for them (specially for her and her family).
Hands down some of the best epoxy countertops I have seen on YT. Sometimes you can tell they’re epoxy because they can look choppy, but these blended sooooo well. Great job (and I’m gonna do the same thing in my kitchen and bathrooms).
Your can do spirit to take it upon yourself is what I like most. You did an excellent job to perfection in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your experience with the trial and error process which finally made it an overall success. Thanks for sharing your project
Ahh saw your tik tok on the hot glue trick and wondered when I'd see it in a video. Those counter tops look 👌. Words can't describe the difference this makes in the kitchen as a whole.
As a novice I’m learning and watching your channel, I like to say that your technic is very smooth. Your tone to which you attack the project is on cue. Thus video was the best and a great starting point for me. Looking forward to others.
This video couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m looking to remodel my kitchen and stumbled upon epoxy countertops yesterday and was starting to do research when you published this video. I’m pumped to try it now!
Don’t do it. I had my counter tops redone to the marble look with epoxy. We are close to the second year mark and they have yellowed….they stain bad. And you can’t put anything on top like cans or you will get can indents in the counter. Not worth it
Wow. VERY impressive; especially how neat and clean you were able to keep everything. Please stand by for my adjoining video: "What NOT to do, when creating epoxy countertops" LOL!
Amazing Job! & Oh Yeah.... The simple, sheer Pleasure of the Drip Removal - right up there when you create that Bead of Paint on your Brush and move it along making a beautiful, clean Line.
Extraordinary work and details that stove is filthy though! Run some expoxy over that thing too! You're a genius. Nobody can duplicate your sheer excellent and attention to detail. I wouldn't even try.
This project was awesome. Great step by step instructions! I like thos project and feel confident I could do it myself after watching this example. The result was spectacular! Great job BYOT!
Great video. The only thing I would change, based on my experience following your video, would be to NOT warm the epoxy. I learned to let it stay at room temperature. I followed what you said and the cure time (workable time) went from 45 min to 10 min (messed up my first attempt on a table)! On my second attempt (same epoxy batch) letting it stay at room temperature worked best and I had the full 45 min workable time. Other than that, great step by step!
I'm thinking of doing my bathroom vanity. It's not very big but I will get the materials you suggested so it turns out. If not I'll just get a new vanity. The challenge is calling me. Hugs from NC Oh and thank you it was a great video.
You make this look so easy and I'm absolutely in love with the results! I've been putting off doing mine after buying all the supplies and this video has me excited again lol
Don’t do it. I had mine professionally done almost 2 years ago. Did the marble look and well they yellow quick, they stain easily and you can’t put any heat or anything on top like cans or you will get can indents in them
As an artist who has done epoxy pour art... this is how you do it!! These are the best epoxy counters I have seen and I am inspired. Great job!
im an artist too. so can you believe the chances of that?
I am not an artist and did a marble look painted but the epoxy yellowed 😢
WHICH BRAND? The yellowing is unfortunate. I hope you can change it soon!!! @@Rainbowlover1111
He’s a professional, I couldn’t do that. I would need years of experience
I like the layering in the bucket technique a lot.

Brent, when you layered the epoxy and poured it out, it was like magic!! You are a DIY Wizard!!!
LoL! Love it Mitch and thanks for all your support as always.
You have got to be the neatest and cleanest person! Wow you did a beautiful job …so gorgeous.

This looks great! Now paint the window trim and door and the kitchen will be fab!
I was about to say, please paint out that window and trim with a nice white to make it all shine
You said what I was thinking. Looks simply beautiful.
Beautiful job. Looks like actual stone. Honestly best epoxy faux stone look ever!
You’re an artist! Gorgeous!
Absolutely fantastic. Way to go above and beyond to get the best outcome.

Best video I've ever seen on this type of project. Most natural looking epoxy finish I've seen.
Thank you, I've watched so many DIY videos on how to do this but this is the easiest and best one ye!!!!!!!!!! NOW I'M READY .....
Good luck!!! Make sure you freeze the video...Often lol
Ahh saw your tik tok on the hot glue trick and wondered when I'd see it in a video. Those counter tops look 👌. Words can't describe the difference this makes in the kitchen as a whole.
This is the most realistic epoxy counter I've seen done. Nice technique of layering the pigment with the white and then pouring!
LOVE hearing that Jennifer because thats really what we were tying to accomplish on this project. Thanks for pointing that out.
Wow. Great call on the subtle adding of the tint and layering it into you mix. Well done as always man.
Thanks so much for mentioning that TJ. We wanted a realistic look on this project and love how it turned out.
This is by far the best video I have seen on epoxy countertop. Thank you for sharing and the end product looks great
Great Video! I want to try this.. Hint., install faucet on the sink BEFORE you install the sink in the counter.. WAY easier!
Haha GREAT tip buddy! I will have to remember that one in the future fore sure.
As a novice I’m learning and watching your channel, I like to say that your technic is very smooth. Your tone to which you attack the project is on cue. Thus video was the best and a great starting point for me. Looking forward to others.
VERY HELPFUL FOR SOME OF US WHO HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE? EXCELLENT!
Super impressed! This has been the best countertop DIY I’ve seen. My project is much smaller, so I’m excited to give this a try!
I love this!! I live in a mobile home, and the counter tops all laminate, this looks like a very viable solutions to upgrade! Thank you!
I almost gave up on the idea. This video I the absolute best That I have seen thus far!!!!!!
Unbelievable, can’t believe how beautiful it came out. Love how you did the step by step transformation with the tips, thank you 👍

@@markwarner6828 I agree, its not made for kitchen where you handle hot pans. I would rather do marble

Wow! That was so cool to watch. You created a beautuful piece of art. It looks just like the marble I saw inside the Vatican in Rome, Italy! Nice job!

Good choice on the black Kohler sink. It ties in quite nicely with the black handles on the cabinets.
