August 6th 2020 was the last time I uploaded a video from the trilogy and there is no better theme to start it back up than this. My goals are to remake a lot of older videos and of course do many newer ones I never got to in the past.
hey bruh!!! Thanks for doing legendary edition now. I am waiting for Mass effect 2 LE zaeed zorya ambience. Also can you do mass effect 2 galaxy map ambience when scanning for materials on planets. Its this one if you wanna know ruclips.net/video/0czdyCkSgLc/видео.html Hell I donate! :)

They struck gold with this theme and they realised it, main menu of 1, talking to Vigil, curing the Genophage and making peace between the Quarians and Geth, stopping the reapers (however you chose to do that), noticed this pretty much never played in ME2 and that led to the dark oppressive tone that one had
I keep coming back here. This time, I realized something. This song feels calming but also mysterious and gives me the sense of dread. I wonder if this is how all those beings that came in contact with Reaper tech felt the same way. "My demise is in front of me.... it's so beautiful."
"The Cycle *_cannot be broken!"_* "You will NOT stand in my way..." ... "My life... *_FOR AIUR!"_* ... I love to think that the story of Mass Effect has had a bit of a ripple effect on the way I interpret the world around myself - as well as the worlds I used to simply play around in just to get some high score instead of making friends (back in the day...) I even fully admit, here and now, that I often see myself as some damn protagonist every now and then - but mostly because I want to give myself something I think is worth living for. Not everyone needs a hero - let alone asks for one - but all I at least want to be, thanks to Shepard, is someone who aspires greatness in those around them.
As amazing as this track is, it's funny. For all the thousands and thousands of hours I've sunk into this franchise, I always think of talking to Vigil on Ilos when I hear this song before I think of the title screen. Is that weird? lol :)
No think that's pincle of the game when get the answers you hunted for. The music has mysterious feel to it. So it's like know answer to question song is asking. Maybe sounds way to arty nonsense

I remember hearing this for the first time in a long while I was in a bad place and hearing it just lifted so much weight off my heart I can still remember the feelings listening to this
*SPOILERS BELOW* I just finished ME3 on legendary edition and I am currently shaking because it just hit so hard. I got the best ending but still… finishing the series has me feeling empty… I never felt this empty after finishing the Dragon Age series, or after any other game series. This left a kind of emptiness I can’t describes finishing Dragon Age inquisiton after finishing the first 2, it felt like a temporary goodbye from all the characters I grew close to, but finishing the Mass Effect trilogy.. it felt like a true loss. Like it was a forever goodbye to the characters and to Shepard even though I got the ending where she supposedly lives. I played Andromeda, and I personally had fun with it, but it didn’t feel the same. I grew up watching my father play this entire series, and now at 18 I’m playing it myself. So perhaps it’s because of nostalgia, and all the memories I had watching my father play, or maybe it’s because the forming of friendships within the game, something I have a hard time doing irl, so it provides my escape. Whatever it is, I haven’t had this Much fun with a game in a very long time.
This is simply the magic of the original Mass Effect trilogy. Love the games or hate the games, BioWare created something far ahead of its time. Over a million copies of ME1 was sold in the first three weeks on the shelves. That was unprecedented for this particular type of video game. You'd expect those sorts of numbers from shit like Modern Warfare, not something completely new.
@@azurblueknights I hope the next mass effect can be just as great. Same with the new dragon age. I wanna believe BioWare can be great again. Hell, me and my father love Mass Effect so much that we named one of our cats Garrus lmao. I’ve started writing my own series within the Mass Effect universe and have plans for a Dragon Age fan series too. I’ve considered looking into being a writer for the games because I wanna see them in all their glory again. I hope BioWare can go back to its roots of being an amazing RPG maker, while innovating new technology. They seem to be listening to fans now at least, since they removed all multiplayer for the new Dragon Age, so let’s hope the next Mass Effect makes us fall in love with the series all over again.
Hearing this theme in-game after a long time and seeing the updated main menu view made me cry T_T.... I fucking love the Legendary Edition and Vigil is one of the best game tracks ever made. It's just so beautiful.... Thanks for uploading this
Love it! Also looking forward to the remake of older videos and newer ones, these are very useful to me! Noveria: Port Hanshan update and Liara's apartment are but a few I am looking forward to!!
Tali by the fishes with Shepard enjoying the cosmos that we protect. The scanners show for a safe time to rest, Shepard opens a secret compartment and it has a glass bong in the shape of Udina that was made by the Salarians as a gift for the commander. He realized that he is out of Krogan Kush, but Tali just smiles and hands Shepard the grinder with some of Talis finest kush cultivated before her journey. The smoke envelopes the room. "If only the the Reapers would smoke with us" said Tali. Shepard takes a big bong rip, then stares blankly at Tali... Tali, shut the fuck up... Laughs were carried through the Normandy and there was peace for one night.
I was too young to play the ME games when they came out. Heard the name of the franchise here and there, but never knew anything about it. Last week, I picked up the legendary edition on a whim. I knew the games were well-liked, but I had no idea what to expect. Having finished all 3 games, I can say it’s the best trilogy I’ve ever played. I don’t know what else to play now that I’m done. What else could capture those connections and emotions as well as these three games do?
I am Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite ambience channel on RUclips.

Vigil Theme is really special. It's the very first ME theme you hear, and the very last one with Stargazer. What a way to start and finish!
You goddamn right. Btw, when I heard this theme seeing Wrex on Tuchanka in ME2, I felt like I was really seeing an old friend of mine.
For me, this track will always be the *real* Mass Effect main theme.
The atmosphere, ambience and style of ME1 was something I was really missing in the rest of the trilogy.

When u consider the meaning of the word "vigil" it gives a new meaning to the song (for me atleast)

Rule of Cool tends to trump realism in games. Mass Effect isn't a simulator.
Anything can be fixed with a good mass effect field, think that's like half the ways they fix things in mass effect, hell even toothbrushes use them

I'm no audiophile so excuse my ignorance but what's the difference between this and the original Vigil?
None, just the new updated menu background.

That blinding light is an annoyance. It's really depressing that the creators of ME don't care about this game as much as they should.

It's not "the creators of mass effect", it's EA, they ruin everything they touch.
this is no the mass effect theme tho
