  • This is a demonstration of the new BrickScreen mini LCD screen from Brickstuff. This screen is pre-loaded with a looping video simulation of the "DRADIS" radar from Battlestar Galactica. There are two versions of the DRADIS loaded onto the screen: one with a square aspect ratio and one "widescreen" version. The screen is available today and operates on any 5V DC power source.
    Check out the screen here: www.brickstuff...
    This is just one in the new series of BrickScreen hobby OLED and LCD screen products available in several sizes from Brickstuff. Check out our website for the latest designs.

    That is so AMAZING! Now if only I can get Mega Construx to do a Battlestar Galactica series. It would be so much nicer than anything Lego could do just for the detail that Mega would put in. The figures alone would be the best anyone could do on that scale. Then with you lights in their vehicles... I would buy more of those than I do Halo. And I think everyone knows how much I love Halo. Great job!

      Thanks for your comment! We're glad you like the screen. FYI there is a LEGO designer who has created excellent models of the Raider, Viper, and Raptor. Look for DavDup's Mocs on Facebook-- you can purchase his plans.

      @@brickstuffcorp Speaking of his plans, will this fit in the Viper or Raptor?

    i'm no good with tech...
    so i need small screens with already preloaded video/gif on them so i can make a miniature gameroom with a bunch of tiny arcade cabinets.

      Not with a screen this small. But we can do custom video loads for an additional fee. If interested, send us an e-mail through our website (www.brickstuff.com).

    cool - how do you get the signal to the display

    • @brickstuffcorp
      @brickstuffcorp  2 года назад

      It's all self-contained on the screen itself-- video, processor, etc.

      @@brickstuffcorp im so confused - how did you get it onto the screen? did you encode at a small size. sorry for stupid question. I understand large displays but the mini stuff has me so confused

    • @brickstuffcorp
      @brickstuffcorp  2 года назад

      @@dingdongrocket Not a stupid question at all! We render it in After Effects, then export the video into the coding environment for the screen (provided by the screen vendor), the coding tool converts it for the screen, then you load the code onto an SD card which gets inserted into the slot on the back of the screen. All you need then is power, and the onboard processor plays the video.

      @@brickstuffcorp now your talking my language! i get it now. i assume its a micro sd? and lastly. is there a size limit as to the video meaning duration.

    • @brickstuffcorp
      @brickstuffcorp  2 года назад

      @@dingdongrocket Yes, MicroSD. No real size limit to the video, though it does have to be processed through the company's development tool and re-formatted.

      it's not a touchscreen, and doesn't have the internal functionality of a calculator.
