- Anyone who creates sci-fi models will appreciate the need for a realistic user interface (UI) or HUD in their model. We've created our BrickScreen line of products to help modelers of all types add life-like animations and video players to their creations.
This is a demo of our 0.96" OLED screen with 21 different custom sci-fi animations pre-loaded. You can select one of the animations or pick "random" to have different screens cycle. Your selection is stored on the included SD card so it is preserved during power-off.
These screens operate on 5V DC so they can easily be integrated into models of any scale.
These screens are available on our website: www.brickstuff.com/store/p145.... Развлечения
This screen has a _lot_ of uses outside of Lego models!
Definitely, we’ve already had scale modelers and RC modelers use them!
Yes I’ve been waiting for this one
It's perfect for a Metroid diorama.
Btw this is perfect for my MOC that I’m making. Thanks
Wow
coool
This is nice! Is there a limit to how long could be the video stored on the SD card?
This model does not allow customers to load their own videos, but we have another screen (same size) that allows any videos to be loaded-- up to 4 hours! www.brickstuff.com/store/p195/VP-TC.html
Outstanding product. Any chance of having a few custom and vey simple video animations?
Yes if you can provide the videos in ready-to-go format (no additional editing necessary) we can load them onto any of our screens for you.
@@brickstuffcorp I sure can. What video file format would you need and what is maximum length (time) allowed per screen. I'm basically looking for two screens with each running their own single video in a constant loop.
Wmv if you have it, otherwise we can transcode. Length probably less than 5 minutes.
Send details to us via email at support@brickstuff.com
@@brickstuffcorp Will do. Thanks.
Can you make this work on esp3266 oled 0.91?
Sorry, no it’s not ESP based.
Yeah that is the best one. But impossible to reach your website.
Thank you-- are you able to reach the site now? Please let us know if not.
Looks awesome, but seems a bit pricey. I would just be enthralled to find a video on how to do accomplish this without having to pay half a days wage.
Unfortunately OLED technology is not cheap. Anything this small with everything contained internally will be hard to find. Our prices are actually lower than other vendors who make screens for RC aircraft.
The OLED tech is not that pricy, maybe the controller board if its made by them, i still think this is a software based product, that why they dont show the codes publicly
We don’t make the screens, so that decision is out of our control.
This one is more expensive because it has a much more advanced programmable graphics controller on the back. There pretty cool.
Can custom video be added to it..ie via the sdcard?
It cannot but we will soon have this option with some new screens. Stay tuned.
Is it pmoled or amoled? Or what kind is it?
The display is PMOLED.
hi, may I know where to obtain the animated sci-fi ui models or textures ?
You can purchase the screens on our website, www.Brickstuff.com.
Can I see how you program it because I want to apply it and add that feature in my project. if possible but if not its ok thank you in advance stay safe always. I hope I get a response sooner.
We order the models from 4D Systems. You need to purchase their proprietary development tool to program the screen. You can find out more on their website, 4dsystems.com.au/.
Can a ready to go kit be bought ?
The screen is pre-loaded- the only additional thing needed is a power supply. Is that what you mean?
How does one even make animations like this for oleds, or even tfts?
We have some good animators that we work with, then we scale down their work and re-master in a format that fits into the tiny screens.
@@brickstuffcorp Thank you for the reply! Im trying to understand more about how to make animations for these types of devices. I know its difficult so so you guys deserve some praise for what you've done!
Thank you!
How to do that?
Buy the screen from us! 😁
@@brickstuffcorp aayy ayyy nice joke... Brother...
