  • This only works if you have your recovery partition, always check in any windows installation. This video also helps how to do a recovery without a disk or usb. I’ll do a another video of how to create a recovery disk or usb.

I know they sell some restore disks for some Toshibas, not all. If yours doesn’t come up with anything, they most likely formatted your hdd/ssd when they installed windows 10

@@jaystechtips654 it still exists as part of the upgrade program they had during its starting release, just had to hold down 0 instead of F11. Worked without a problem afterward

As soon as it goes on the splash screen (Toshiba logo) immediately hold f8 down and press “repair my computer” then it should come with Toshiba recovery wizard if you do have the recovery partition.

@@robertrobski1013if the Toshiba recovery wizard doesn’t pop up as a option in start up options then there’s a big chance you don’t have the recovery partition on your drive.

I’d recommend getting a iso file off the internet for windows 7 so then that way you don’t have Toshiba bloatware

Hello, sadly I don’t have a asus laptop but I have a asus pc but it’s a family pc so idk if I can do that. Although I may buy a laptop with a asus oem install hoping it has the partition. It would have similar buttons to that Toshiba.

Basically you don’t have the partition to recover it back to a new state/factory default settings

    • @jaystechtips654

Main cause would be because you’re working with a mechanical hdd. I’d recommend getting a ssd (solid state drive)

Sorry for my late reply but the most likely reason would be because your Toshibas hdd/ssd won’t have the recovery partition

Hello, did you try pressing F8 as soon as you see the Toshiba logo appear? If so, did you try pressing “repair your computer” then click Toshiba recovery wizard. Do you know if it has the recovery partition? If not then no action can be done unless you buy a recovery disk for it online.
