In today's video, I replace the stock bridge saddles on my PRS SE Silver Sky. I've noticed over the last few months that I'm breaking strings on my SE Silver Sky way too often, so I've had to take some action. I found some replacement saddles by MannMade (John Mann's Guitar Vault) specifically crafted for the SE Silver Sky, so I decided to try them out!

Thanks for the video! The thought of having to pay 85 us dollars is more than my mind can handle! I just bought my PRS Special a couple of years ago. I’m not a professional musician… I just goof around for fun. I’ve never owned a guitar that eats strings like this one. Mine even breaks the low e string as well as the a, d, g, b and high e! I’m not going to buy the new saddle. I might try to modify my existing one. However, I appreciate your video! I thought I was doing something wrong!😂 I will be subscribing to your channel! Thanks again brother!

Hi there! In the Basque Country here...and trying to get the same saddles. How was the sending process like? Any problems in customs?...How much was it all in all? Did it solve the issues eventually

Hey there! Sending process was ridiculous, unfortunately. I ended up paying about €120 for the saddles including shipping (almost double what they should cost) and then I got stung for another €60 at customs. All-in-all, a very expensive set of bridge saddles. After saying that, they have totally fixed the problem!
Have you gigged the guitar since this fix, and did it work?

Yes, I have gigged it twice and haven't snapped a single string. Perfect fix for the problem. I just wish I hadn't been stung at customs so badly to import them into Spain!
Just got the same guitar gave it a set up and played some blues did a bend on the high string and snapped I’m so mad
The upgrade is the solution. I've not changed the strings still, since I made this video and they're still going strong!
