Gotta give it up for those awesome ppl making the magic happen in the factory. We wouldn't have these products without any of them.
I have seen, read, and heard about the SE series build process, over the last two or three years. I’ve always felt the build philosophy and process produce a high quantity outcome. This video tour explained and showed the build process in action and was nice to watch. I agree with PRS that the builder being acknowledged and identified prominently on the instrument is a way of upping the pride of accomplishment for the factory and individuals working in the factory. And what a great inspiration Mr. Santana provided for the concept of the SE series. I guess that’s why after years of denying my self the pleasure of owning a “real nice” guitar, all of these factors have brought me to a point where I now own four “really great” guitars, the SE series guitars just seems to fill that pocket. But I got to admit, the tactile experience of picking up and playing a MaCarty 594 ten top, not knowing what I had in my hands, and not knowing much about PRS guitars, just blew me away and is what brought me to the small collection I enjoy daily, today.
Thank you everyone, I just received my 2022 Silver Sky SE for Xmas and I love it; perfectly setup and with superb sustain and sound. Thanks again! 🎸🍾❤️
After owning 3 different Maryland-made PRS guitars, I bought my first SE guitar, a Swamp Ash Special, and it is a fantastic instrument. As was said in the video, it punches above its weight class and is quickly becoming a primary go-to gigging guitar for me. Kudos to all of those involved in making these excellent PRS SE guitars!

I watched this video shortly before my Custom 24 arrived. I was so impressed three months later I added a 245 to my stable. Very nice fiddle. Very much a happy customer.
Since the PRS SE lines are made in Indonesia, I started to buy the PRS SE line guitars from the custom 24 faded limited run to PRS SE DGT, not only because the guitars are well made and has top notch quality but also it helped the economy of the country. Its like a dream come true because before PRS image are unaffordable guitars for most Indonesian but now has changed. Thanks to Paul for your trust to Indonesia and we love PRS guitars!
Indonesia is the best guitar maker! And the factory is so clean and neat that I would have breakfast and lunch on the floor. PRS made the best choice for making its guitars.
I just bought my second PRS SE guitar: a Custom24 with a quilted maple top in turquoise. Apart from the pleasure of playing it, I can’t stop looking at it and admiring the sheer quality of this instrument.
I just bought one! I also have a 2017 korean custom 24, so i was curious how they would compare. I can happily say that my new silver sky se is just as good as my korean custom 24, despite their differences. In fact, this silver sky se has the best single coils ive ever heard in a "budget" strat style guitar.

I’m glad this happened, I had a bad experience with another well known guitar company as a beginner, I almost quit playing.. my local guitar dealer recommended I try a PRS SE, it played amazing, felt amazing. I bought an se standard, I am now in love with my guitar journey, and PRS.
Bought an SE because I knew I had to have PRS in my collection. As a lefty I knew I couldn't afford an American model and I must say I couldn't be any happier with what was delivered. Great job..,.
very well documented procedure. I have 4 PRS guitars. I love each one. They are awesome to hold and play. They just sound amazing. Great Guitar! I met Paul in Tacoma Washington a few years ago. Humble guy. I purchased one on the spot.
There are several reasons why I started out with and continue to buy PRS guitars: - Attention to detail - Playability - Sound quality - Beauty Seeing the superb partnership with COR-TEK for the PRS SE lines underscores the high expectations Paul has for every guitar that gets into a customer's hands. I can't speak highly enough of the dedication of the PRS team. Thank you for showing us the SE facilities and the crew working their magic there. Truly an awesome operation.
I am the PROUD owner of a PRS SE Custom and I just wanna say THANK YOU to PRS for making such fine guitars . My PRS SE Custom basically plays itself. Its an easy guitar to play. Basically just breathe on the strings and I get a sound out of it.
SEs are fantastic guitars and PRS and PT Cort are right to be proud. For the value you get I don't think there's a better guitar being made today. I had an old SE Soapbar II Maple for many years and regrettably had to sell it recently. It was a great guitar and I'm really missing it now. I hope to buy another SE soon. The SE Mira is looking really good!
The current crop of PRS SE guitars from Indonesia are the best looking SE guitars that PRS have ever made. I think they have achieved the same level of quality and playability that used to come from WMI in South Korea when PRS made them there, which is a big achievement. I remember the initial SE guitars made in Indonesia years ago - they were not the same level of quality as the WMI guitars. Now they play just as good, and they look even better. This video shows why.
Just bought my first PRS last week. Waiting for its arrival here in PEI Canada. Got the SE custom 24 faded blue and can't wait to get it in and try it out. I am already a very proud PRS owner and haven't even held the damn thing yet. It's only been 20 years I've been wanting my PRS 🙏💙💪

I have a Korean made PRS and I tried fender strats and telecasters from the player series all the way to the American series. They all felt like shit. The fret boards have an ugly gloss, it feels like I'm holding soft wood on the shape of a baseball bat, the hardware feels very cheap and loose with rough and sharp little spots. The fretwork is garbage compared to PRS. The ends of the frets are very rough too. Nasty stuff.
@@jp2503 I have a custom built that feels better than any PRS, Indonesian and American PRS. Fretwork is much better on boutique shops, these manufacturers just can't compete. And I know the guy so he built it exactly the way I want too.
Excellent. Thanks for the tour. Picked up a PRS SE hollow body 3 months ago. Went into the guitar shop with Gretsch, Ibanez and Epiphone on my list. None of these did it for me. The salesperson said, 'We've got this...'. Done deal! Thanks.
WOW! That was amazing. I got tired just watching all the steps required for precision machinery to create each masterpiece. If PRS puts this much attention into the SE model, I can't wait to see the detail of the core product. I am really impressed.
Getting mine in a month!! Totally pumped. Getting it from sweetwater and PRS said it will ship in October 2022 next month. MCCarty 594 single cut cherry burst 10 top. The only one they are getting in October in that model and color. Take care of it PRS!! I’m a army vet (Rangers) I’m 58 and started playing last year. Thanks for making such a great guitar. I was going for a Gibson but I can really see the difference.
Thanks for the clarity and transparency on this. While I knew Cort was involved, I wasn't aware that you were in separate space vs. (as mentioned in the video) a bigger multi-brand guitar facility.
I bought an SC about 8 years ago or so. I was told point blank it was the greatest guitar you could buy for under $1,000. It was a great choice and I'd have it to this day if I didn't have my custom 24 10 top. They had made a tiny mistake and hadn't align the neck properly. I wasn't too sure about it but wanted a picture of it and within 3 minutes of being emailed picture there was a representative from the warranty department that told me they wanted the guitar back free of charge and they would be sending me a brand new one and they asked me if there was anything else that they could do and I asked him since they have a proprietary nut material that they use on the American guitars could you swap it out and they were happy to do it. Great bunch of people over there. They may have had to have eaten a couple hundred dollars depending on what they had to do with the return, but they sold me on a custom 24 and a customer for life. Smart business... Even though they weren't trying to sell me an American one I just fell in love with them after loving my SE so much
500 guitars a day from just one factory. Add to this all the other guitars made daily and you have an extraordinary amount of guitars. Whose gonna play all those guitars?? That I cannot wrap my head around.
I've been playing guitar for over ten years. Last year I finally said I'm getting a great guitar, not just s mediocre guitar. I heard prs was great but they were all so expensive. Then I found the prs se and I stated researching and found I can try a prs at a reasonable price.. note I've had my se for 9 months and I can't believe how great this guitar is. Gotta give it up for those awesome ppl making the magic happen in the factory. We wouldn't have these products without any of them.
I have just one word that come to my head right now …respect 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
So awesome they have their own factory. Such a beautiful place.
Thanks to everyone working on the SEs. Definitely something to be proud of ♥️
The Mojo of Mojokerto...All great guitars are in here
Helping out all these neighbors gets good jobs makes me proud to play with PRS SE´s guitars. Thank you guys at PT for doing their job very well to provides us professional instruments 👏🏼🤘🏼 Keep on Rockin´
This is one of the most amazing factories i have ever seen! I am proud to have bought one of these guitars, made in Indonesia. Now, i see why my guitar is not only a musical instrument, but , literally, a work of art!! Who thought "Budget" guitars would be made like this! I think guitars are made better, today, than ever before!!
I watched this video shortly before my Custom 24 arrived. I was so impressed three months later I added a 245 to my stable. Very nice fiddle. Very much a happy customer.
Indonesian and Proud ! Thanx PRS
Great video.
I play the guitar, thanking the workers who make it.
from JAPAN
Indonesia is the best guitar maker! And the factory is so clean and neat that I would have breakfast and lunch on the floor. PRS made the best choice for making its guitars.
another big guitar brand also made in indonesia too
Thank you untuk PRS dan PT. Cort Indonesia... Membantu tenaga kerja di Mojokerto dan sekitarnya, terutama Indonesia
I just bought my second PRS SE guitar: a Custom24 with a quilted maple top in turquoise. Apart from the pleasure of playing it, I can’t stop looking at it and admiring the sheer quality of this instrument.
this is pretty amazing seeing how these guitars are built and glad we are shown
I have had 3 Korean SE guitars and look forward to soon owning one from this wonderful factory in Indonesia
I just bought one! I also have a 2017 korean custom 24, so i was curious how they would compare. I can happily say that my new silver sky se is just as good as my korean custom 24, despite their differences. In fact, this silver sky se has the best single coils ive ever heard in a "budget" strat style guitar.
Awesome. Been waiting about 1 year for a lefthanded PRS SE Custom from Sweetwater in Black Gold Burst . ETA October 2022. Thanks for the video. Hats off to Y'all and the PT Cort factory workers dedicated to producing quality professional instruments. 👏
you can web search "South Korean Cort/Cor-tek Guitar Workers’ Action and the Politics of Digital International Solidarity" to learn more about the history of Cort in Indonesia.
Bought the least exspensive SE 24 in 6/21 and it was spot on perfect out the box. The fret work is fantastic. At this price point I was absolutely blown away. I hope evrybody has had the same experience as I have! Well done PRS!
I’m glad this happened, I had a bad experience with another well known guitar company as a beginner, I almost quit playing.. my local guitar dealer recommended I try a PRS SE, it played amazing, felt amazing. I bought an se standard, I am now in love with my guitar journey, and PRS.
That's exactly what keeps us going. We want to make inspirational instruments at every price point. Thank you! - Jack
Looking forward in their Maryland plant offering tours again
Bought an SE because I knew I had to have PRS in my collection. As a lefty I knew I couldn't afford an American model and I must say I couldn't be any happier with what was delivered. Great job..,.
very well documented procedure. I have 4 PRS guitars. I love each one. They are awesome to hold and play. They just sound amazing. Great Guitar! I met Paul in Tacoma Washington a few years ago. Humble guy. I purchased one on the spot.
Love, love, love your craftsmanship people. I have 6 PRS Asian made guitars and everyone is beautiful and play wonderful ! Keep up the great work !!!
Terima kasih, Jack... Very nice tour. Wish PRS and Cort will sustain and growing bigger and bigger 🤘
Its great that PRS shows us how things are made...they are proud and the it shows in the quality of the instrument
There are several reasons why I started out with and continue to buy PRS guitars:
- Attention to detail
- Playability
- Sound quality
- Beauty
Seeing the superb partnership with COR-TEK for the PRS SE lines underscores the high expectations Paul has for every guitar that gets into a customer's hands.
I can't speak highly enough of the dedication of the PRS team. Thank you for showing us the SE facilities and the crew working their magic there. Truly an awesome operation.
Love prs
Amazing to see how much work going to make a guitar
I own the PRS SE Custom 24-08 in the Eriza Verde finish. It's a great guitar in every way and a pure pleasure to play! Thank you PRS!!
Unbelievable quality. I qualified as an engineer many years ago and this is so impressive. Brilliant work!
So proud of my country
This makes me feel very safe in buying any PRS SE. Well done everyone!
I just purchased a PRS SE Singlecut McCarty 594 in Vintage Sunburst and all I have to say is WOW!!!
My PRS SE Silver Sky in nylon blue is arriving tomorrow. I can’t wait!
How's the guitar?
Thank you Jack, Paul and every single person involved in the PRS SE organisation. I have a Bernie Marsden SE in spalted maple and it's a stunning guitar in every way.
I´m very very happy with my PRS SE CUSTOM 24-08 Vintage Sunburst and it´s absolutely interesting and nice to see, how this amazing guitar was made in the factory by the work of so much good people ! Thumbs UP !
my friend and i have prs se silver sky's. they both came from the factory perfect. The frets are amazing, best ive ever played straight from the factory. The men and women there do an amazing job, thank you for the hard work and great results
Im from surabaya indonesia.I am proud of you for entrusting your products to be manufactured in our country.i hope for customer in indonesia can enjoy prs SE with discount price.
As a Squier / Fender guy this video has me looking into an SE. Well done video PRS Team!
I own a strat, and a les paul , an Ibanez, teli, and a P.R.S. The P.R.S. is the go to axe most of the time. And the red Ma. Is Stunning. GOOD JOB.
This video makes me want to buy more PRS SE guitars. Thank you PT Cort men and women for building superb instruments.
What a terrific video! Wonderfully produced and a great showcase of the hard work going into these guitars. Thank you for sharing!
Makasih bnyk sudah berjalan bersama Indonesia terutama d Jawa timur
Getting mine in a month!! Totally pumped. Getting it from sweetwater and PRS said it will ship in October 2022 next month. MCCarty 594 single cut cherry burst 10 top. The only one they are getting in October in that model and color. Take care of it PRS!! I’m a army vet (Rangers) I’m 58 and started playing last year. Thanks for making such a great guitar. I was going for a Gibson but I can really see the difference.
This is awesome. I have the SE Silver Sky and can attest to the professional quality of the guitar. Great to see how it’s all done abroad.
Good job for Alip Ba Ta..!!.. Awalnya menggunaka guitar akustik CORT , kemudian menggunakan Electrical Guitar PRS. ... BRAVO MOJOKERTO!!!!
Ini dia gitar elektrik yg dipakai mas Alif. Tolong jadikan mas Alif ambassador merk ini
Good quality guitar products made in Indonesia 🇮🇩 . .
Absolutely fascinating process and even more fascinating how thorough this video is. Thank you!
I'm going to play it to I can afford a mass prs from the USA. Until then I'm gonna feel like I got a 3000 dollar guitar for 600. Thanks prs..I absolutely love this axe!
Thank you for the Tranparency! Seeing this makes it even easier to see the care and quality they are putting into the SE line!
