I tried a go fund me when my dog broke his leg, he's a tiny little freak. Even when he was stuck in a splint he was running around playing with Buster. But he did get the surgery half of the price then one in the twin cities. He is adorable and the vet who helped him recover from surgery even sent a pic to her boyfriend. And he was only 4 months old when the surgery took place, but he's all okay and well and when we got the heavy snow, he thought he could walk on snow and face planted at the bottom of the steps

My mom who is 67 told me she heard on the news about people getting money thru GoFundMe and kickstarter she doesn't use the internet. She told me she wants to start one asking for money and she would say how she is 67 and struggling. The dog purchase ones disturb me. If you can't afford a dog, you also can't afford to care for one. I would consider donating to such a cause irresponsible. You're potentially putting an animal in danger by helping them.
I was able to afford the adoption fee and excellent regular care for my pet and damn, it's been six months since my kitten got sick and died, and despite family and friends pitching in (via GoFundMe), I'm still paying off the debt I picked up from it (not complaining though -- that kitten was a sweetheart and helped me get through a lot emotionally, including his own death... I don't regret a single penny that helped us live together a little longer
True. My cat got sick once - nothing too serious, he needed an x-ray, blood test, antibiotics and shots - and it was about 500€ or so. And (according to friends) that's cheap compared to what you would have to pay in the US. And food and litter for two cats is another 40€ or so per month.

My cat got very sick at around 6 months because of fleas causing a lack of red blood cells. Just getting her a blood transfusion was expensive. I don't recall the amount, as I was about 16-17 (the cat is around 3 now). I simply recall my mom saying it cost a lot. She has thankfully had no other illnesses or injuries (cat is still unspayed and may have a chronic ear infection), but I nearly lost her, and would've been heartbroken.
Really, fleas can be deadly to pets if left to breed exponentially. They drain their blood and the vet had told my mom that my kitten was at a 10% red blood cell count. If they ever become lethargic and refuse to eat/drink during a flea outbreak, take your pet to a vet immediately. We lost two other cats later on to this same problem.

Purebreds are something of a luxury good. A status symbol for people to spend their excess money on. I wouldn't begrudge anyone dog snuggles, but those snuggles are much more economical coming from a shelter animal. Leave status symbols for the rich and get an (healthier, shots-included, already spayed/neutered) animal you can afford to care for.

no those are very bad hdmi cable, buy a brand cable, like phillips or sony, dont buy usb/hdmi/mini hdmi cables at them cheap stores, they are cheap cause they copper in them is almost ZERO, if a normal cable sends out 2.0 ohm, them cheap cables wont even send 0.8 ohm...

Whilst it does pay to buy more expensive, better quality USB charging cables, buying higher quality HDMI cables has little to no difference on the quality of picture, as HDMI is a digital interface and therefore should not be and is not affected by cable quality. Also, the 'ohm' is a measurement of resistance, whilst Ashens was referring to current, which is measured in Amperes. Amperage is not a factor with HDMI cables.

You need to get the hamster a bigger cage the recommended size for a hamster cage is a 40 gallon tank, but a 20 will do just nicely its better then that small CritterTrail cage. That hamster is in now , and the 20 gallon tanks like $30 and it makes a hamster a lot happier. By the way this is in no offense to anyone , I don't want anyone coming after me I was just saying how unfair it is to keep the hamster in such a small cage. :)

Here's the thing cages in pet stores are a no go for hamsters, why? They go for height when it should be by floor space. The bare minimum is 360 sq inches, I do hope he listens and switches to either a bin cage or a 40+gallon glass tank instead.
