  • Try this method to prevent your T-Tops from leaking and keep all your weatherstripping from deteriorating!
The product I use is called Shin-Etsu, it's from Honda. It's amazing and tons of people use it, all with great results!

Good post! When I store the Z32, I release the T-top levers to take the pressure off the seal. That helps to keep the elasticity in the seals.

Thanks for the videos. I've really enjoyed following along. Some people might not think the small things are exciting but for owners of 300's they are.

I have no leaks yet and don't want any. I'll give the grease a try. Thanks. I happened to get a Nismo gear shift knob that is near identical to what you have but it has red stitching that matches the boot. I then found a $20 steering wheel cover that was black w red stitching and black floor mats w a red Z. I have the tan leather interior and like the contrast. You did the body panels so well. I always like seeing them.

Take care of the weatherstripping and you won’t have to worry about leaks or even having to replace the weatherstripping! Not many options out there anymore for replacement.
I bet that looks awesome! The contrast would definitely make things pop.
      Thanks for watching!

I recommend cleaning that area first before applying the grease. Also, only a light coat is best otherwise the extra goops will trap dirt and build up. Nice to see 300 content. Keep it up!

Thank you brother! I really just enjoy doing it and like seeing that subscriber number increase, it shows me people are interested. I don’t care much to blow up or monetize or anything honestly, this is just very fun for me and I’m enjoying learning as I go. This is very new and different for me!

I'm getting my 1991 ready to get back on the road after sitting in a garage for over 14 years here in Germany now. As I was ordering parts I saw that CZP actually sold remanufactured rubbers so I bought them just to replace them.

I'm 15 and my first car is a 1990 300zx NA I love it so far, sounds really good and my T-tops don't leak :). I really appreciate this video thanks man. Mines kinda beat up but by the time I'm done with it, it should look like yours but in matte black. I love the look of the 300zx. (can you make a video about all the cosmetics you put on yours?) Love the content keep it up!

Great first car! Will definitely give you lots of work haha but you will learn from it 👌I already have a video like that, check out the video about the TwinZ and Interior Innovations review, I go in depth about all the parts I had on the car at that point when the video was made. Thanks for the support!! 🙏🏾❤️

Chemical Guys VRP (Vinyl Rubber Plastic) works really well too for anything plastic that is carbon based/rubber for refreshing/stopping things from leaking. (I don’t work for them, it’s just a great product.)

So far so good! Only had it for about a year and didn’t drive this car much last summer. This summer will be a good test. But the quality seems great 👍
