- My interior is COMPLETE!! (I hope)
Last year I reupholstered my whole interior but I wasn't happy with how both my door panels turned out. In this video, I show you guys how to remove the door panels and I redo my door panels with Nova-Suede from Interior Innovations. I also took this opportunity to install arm rests in my 300ZX. My car didn't have armrests from factory and after putting these on, it looks PERFECT and completely OEM! I hope you guys enjoy this one and if you haven't subscribed yet, make sure you hit the SUBSCRIBE button. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

It looks pretty good to me for a DYI.
Nicely done love that material in my touring roadster 370z
Wow looks great. Very clean build
One advantage of having later model z32’s 94-96 is that the seatbelts are in the car vs the door. My 93 n/a and my 92tt I hated messing with the seatbelt when taking the door panels off lol! I’ve had a 93 n/a, 92tt, and 3 95tt’s my current and last is my 95. I love your silver! All hail the silver crew! ❤ love you doing all your own work! Keep it up. If you ever want to chat hit me up brotha!
I wish I had a choice like that! Where I live these cars are rare and it’s super hard to find exactly what you’re looking for. Just a clean LHD manual was good enough for me even if it was a NA. I will be doing a turbo build very soon. Finding a clean LHD turbo, manual, with low miles is almost out of the question here.
Looks amazing man. Good job
Great work, Faraz! One little imperfection I see on your interior that I too had on mine is the faded door handles. I'm not on any forums really so I'm not sure what the majority typically does to counteract the fading (outside of replacing the handles altogether), but my handles are in perfect working condition so I didn't want to replace them. I tried some ceramic plastic/trim restorer wipes. I went with Cerakote, but I guess there are many on the market. I just tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and so far I am really pleased with the result. Just thought I would share what I did. Oh and I need to do my rear speaker grills to clean mine up too. Mine have become a little loose and saggy over the years 👍🏼
Very Nice!!!!!!!
That's awesome Bro
Love the video and the mods! Your 300zx looks pristine!!! If I may offer one piece of criticism, can you normalize your audio? When you do time-lapses the music is way louder than when you speak. It will really make it more enjoyable for your audience. Any way keep it up bro! I hope to make my Z as nice as yours one day.
Definitely, i appreciate the criticism, shows me how I can improve as I’m still only learning video/editing! I will keep this in mind and try to do better in the coming videos. Thanks! 👍
@@FarazXAhmed Completely understandable!! Rooting for you and your channel, bud!
Such tasteful mods! A Z32 is 2nd on my list for a project build.
What's first?
@@chasenorton5345 B13 SE-R. Bet you didn't expect that:-)
@@BernsteinOmega Ha, I did not. Looks cool, Galant VR4 type vibe.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
you wanna try 42 degrees celsius here in south Australia 3 days ago not good for my zed in the sun
Great work. Just a suggestion but could you mix your voice in at a higher volume? I have to keep turning my speakers up and down ;)
Yes I know I needed to fix that. I had the sound mixed up in the earlier videos but I tried fixing that in the newer ones! Thanks for the feedback!
If you do this...spend the money on quality fabric. I bought suede from Joanne fabrics and 2 yrs later the black suede has faded...even with tinted windows. Buy quality fabric like the gentleman did.
The back ground music is super loud, each time you talk, I have lower and higher the volume!!!?
Sub 429 woopwoop I'm in the 1k club
Awesome man! Hope to be that in that club this year 😆
Faraz! Did you remove your old seat leather before putting the interior innovation leather? If not, can you? Would it work? Or do you have to put the covers on top of the old leather?
Hey, you definitely have to remove the old leather first! This replaces the leather on your seats right now
@@FarazXAhmed great! I thought you’d have to keep the old leather which is icky! But mashallah your z keeps looking better and better! I don’t know if it can look better than this 😍
Thank you bro! The engine bay can look and preform a lot better, and it will soon! Inshallah
@@FarazXAhmed I’ll keep following inshallah 👍🏼🙌
NEVER use 77 brother. 90 is even not the strongest (but it’s better). But yea, never use 77 if you want it to last. Most upholsterers use 77 just to tack things up temporarily when sewing or test fitting. None worth their salt would ever use 77 as the actual bonding adhesive.
Good advice, thank you!
Music needs to go. Most annoying.
i DO NOT recommend buying from interior innovations. A terrible terrible company with terrible customer service. buyer beware !!
you could just re dye the speaker covers black i used fabric paint and they came out nice very light coats thou
