Bought a replacement shift knob for my 300ZX. $60.00 bucks from a dealer in Virginia. They go for as much as $100, and I went with black leather with red stitching also. Got a matching steering wheel cover for $20.00 bucks ! Nice !

@@BuildTheoryZ “vid”, not “bud” - damn autocorrect. Indeed it’s tough trying to get certain OEM parts. Especially ones that deteriorate with time. I was lucky to get an original owner one that didn’t spend time in the sun. I’ve had it for 2 years now.

I have a factory white on red 90 TT both a blessing and a curse. The red interior is super rare which is awesome but finding replacement parts has been impossible.

Do you have any recommendations on where or how to go about getting a better,new carpet?
Lot of carpet sold on ebay, I ordered some new carpet for my 240sx on there. Little bit of trimming and work to get in in, but way better than wore out carpet.
I got mine here: www.stockinteriors.com/AutoCarpet.asp?Itemid=8263&ModelId=317 definitely took some work to cut it to fit (it's molded to shape, but oversize on the trim) but it looks original. They sent color samples for free so I could match up the old color. Good luck
There's a company in Tucson or Phoenix that makes diamond plate floor mats. Got mine a long time ago and don't remember which city or name of company. Cars are laser scanned to insure perfect fit. Owner borrowed a friends Z to make mine. I have the 1st set ever made. Not recommended to use when there is rain or snow, but I never had any problems.

@@BuildTheoryZ I got pretty lucky snagging my 300zx from an old guys garage. He really didnt know much about it, so he sold it for 3,000! Its definitely my favorite vehicle.
My JDM 1990 steering wheel is in pristine condition, give me an email and I'll send you a picture.
