    To any owners: I'd strongly recommend front adjustable castor arms/tension rods.
    I did a materials study on brand name ones and eBay ones. In short. Just get eBay ones.
    HOWEVER
    Be careful buying ones for s or r bodies. Yes they fit. But skyline and s body tension rods are longer than z32 ones. Some after market tension rods can be adjusted so they are as short as possible and they are still too long.
    I would NOT recommend cheap upper control arms (as per this video) as the design of them is all the same and they bend where you adjust them. They are crap. Go for gktech ones or similar. Top tip. R32 ones are the same and often easier to find (at least here in England). This applies if you drift or track your car. On the road the cheap ones are fine I'm sure. Just remember that adjusting the UCA also effects castor and KPI. A downside of the R32/z32 design that's not as pronounced on R32/34

      @@BuildTheoryZ happy to help. Your zed is amazing. I'm very jealous! My experience is more on the side of abuse and improve. 8 years of drifting and for the first 3 years my daily as well.
      I would add. About the eBay arms. The big difference (only difference really) is the quality of the barrings. This is where GK tech shine. The eBay and cheap arms rush solid quickly in a salt/cold environment. Unless you have them off and stripped and greased so often that you may as well upgrade to better barrings.
      If you don't drive in winter in a cold climate. Then no dramas.
      Please keep this channel going. I love seeing how you do things in the USA

    another 3 things to also upgrade on a z32 are the Steering Rack Bushings, the Bushing on the steering column, and the Steering Knuckle - Universal Joint. These 3 are more of a hassle but will greatly improve Steering Feel. it will stiffen it up. The Steering Knuckle will eventually give out and cause a sloppy steering wheel so check up on the joints!

    Hav yu checkd out the z1 front suspension kit? I'm tryna keep the ride as smooth as possible n they look sturdy. Either that or send them my OEMs to get new bushings. That jus sounds tedious. Also, That black stripe gives your car a wicked grin.

    • @BuildTheoryZ

      Thanks Albert! Yes, Bushing Replacement is tedious, If you have the resources ($$) I would recommend just getting new, Much easier. Let me know how your build goes!

      Hey Yoes, So I just talked with a friend of mine that has a convertible, If you put your keys in the ignition it will activate the trunk release in the center console. Also did you try WD40 in the lock cylinder, Try and loosing it up, Hopfuly you can use the key again. let me know if that works for you.

    Hey Jesse! I want to redo the suspension on my daily z32 swell, I want to get the ISR performance suspension arm package because its cheaper than the one you got, but im worried it would cause too much vibration since it has no bushings.. do you think the vibration would be a very noticeable or just a bit. I would love your input since I've never redone suspension before and don't know what either control arms feel like.

    • @BuildTheoryZ
      @BuildTheoryZ  3 года назад +1

      Hey Elliot! I used ISR control arms on the front and rear on My 300zx z32, didn’t notice any extra vibration. I even used solid bushing on my diff. You should be good, I daily my 300zx. If you haven’t, definitely go back a watch some of my other videos where I’m working on the suspension, pick up some tips and Hit me up with any questions!

      @@BuildTheoryZ Yeah you use the ISR performance PRO right? I guess I'm trying to ask if the Regular ones (the yellow ones) which don't have bushing would have significantly more vibration. Also I'm loving your vids dude!

      Hey Neil, I was going to go with the Cosmis S1 Bronze But they are on Back Order. The Price is right, the wheel is good and they have a low offset for this Wide body 240. If I was a baller I would order the Work Meister S1 3P for the perfect fit. Are you a 240 guy? Ive been wanting to make some more 240 content

    where is the best place to buy z32s?

    • @AdamMGTF
      @AdamMGTF 3 года назад

      Japan. Pure and simple. As long as you avoid the very north of the islands, you'll find they are totally rust free and the Japanese look after their cars so so well. After years of rusty Nissan's, I got a fresh import r33 and was blown away. Yes it's getting more expensive. But worth it
