    what are your thoughts on surf camps?

      Great question and I think I'll have to do a video on this! There are many things meant by "surf camp." For example in Oaxaca, MX you basically have to go to a "camp" just to surf. That doesn't mean there's instruction. It's just that to surf certain waves you have to stay there at the camp on the break. So that's camps part 1. If it's a learn to surf camp then I think my advice in this video applies. You would want to ask them if they're surf school like or coaching like or some kind of hybrid between the two. Some people do like the hybrid approach where they get more reps on the waves by being pushed but then they take the training wheels off a bit and try for their own waves. I think pushing is never necessary, especially for adults, so I would personally steer away from any surf education that involves pushing full grown ass adult humans into waves. Hope this helps.
