I've had my 90 series prado for 3 years. Slowly doing it up, have a rear lokka to put in yet. Has a 2 inch lift, bullbar/winch and still haven't taken it out bush yet.🤣
Love the way you drive, planning to get 90 series prado TZ veriant i am surprised and satisfied your ownership with this beast. One thing please add for me about fuel ⛽ average and maintenance thanks 👍
Does the 90 prado factory diff lock will fit to all 90 prado variants? I have the VX model (petrol) and planning to buy and install a factory diff lock. Do I need to match the gear ratio of the front to the rear with lockers or just plug and play. Thanks

Hi, Thanks for this amazing video. This car is definitely very capable off road. But to make it more efficient, did you ever consider a front sway bar disconnect? According to one of your subsequent video, ruclips.net/video/wENBq2sjvy8/видео.html your have the original front sway bar link. I am asking you because I am myself a Toyota LC 90 owner, short wheel base version, and I am considering a front sway bar disconnect.
Hi, thank you for the comment. I wouldn't disconnect the front sway bar on the Prado as it is independent suspension. This means that it won't gain much travel and might even end up binding the CVs. You are better off disconnecting the rear ones. Keep in mind that you will probably s need longer shocks. Check out this video ruclips.net/video/FguCuw8WQu4/видео.html
@@somedude3423 Great then, there are some sway bar links that you can disconnect only when off roading so you can have both good road manners and off road flex

I'm here for the 90 series content, subscribing for the 4WD247 impressions 🤣 very funny guys! Great work.
Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed it!
Great 4wds the 90 series. Just remember to replace and check your lower ball joints
Yeep
Awesome. Nice to see how the different vehicles do on the trails! And the Prado is doing good, amazing to see how capable it is :D.

@7:27 hahaha I am expecting a "really big wheel lift" and you delivered on it. Great video man, love the wheeling
Thank you man!
"frothin'" I like the Graham impersonation :-)
Hahaha yep 😉
Wonderful video!
Very capable indeed!
You have a new subscriber and follower from a fellow 90 series owner from Philippines! KZJ95!
Thank you!
How does the rear locker compare to the centre diff lock that comes as standard?
The ones that have the rear locker have botha center diff lock and the rear locker. The rear locker makes a huge difference
@@TheUntraveledPath thanks for the prompt response. I'll look into it 🙂👌
Doesn’t the Prado have Atrac? Nice driving!
Not this model! The newer ones have it

I am not sure about that. Mine had it from the factory.
Apologies!
Same here

I like the cruiser but I much prefer the Land Rover. Both very capable vehicles but both very different
Yes, they are in the same category but they are completely different in terms of driving! Both have their pros and cons.

I haven't tried them on the Prado but I was about to on my Discovery. I think they will suit the Prado well.
@@TheUntraveledPath they where perfekt regarding floor clearance but here in Austria difficult to make them legal
