Brent is by far one of the most versatile vocalist alive, only he can do a cover of Unchained Melody jump into Simple Man, and then top it off with Adele, his vocal tone is like wrapping up in a nice silk blanket, absolutely my favorite singer of all time!!

I think shinedown is the best. I love the way their music revolves around the universe. My sister was a big shinedown fan. She is not with us anymore. She took her own life a couple years ago. I sometimes wonder if she wanted to go to that place beyond the sun, or hitch a ride on Hailey's commet

I know how you feel and I'm very sorry for your loss my best friend died a and my cat died my friend died on Christmas Eve and I miss them dearly like your sister and you but they are in the best place right now and we have to celebrate there life and cherish it because they were one of the best people our life and we love them enough to let them go so we can't cry over it :(

Zach Myers is an excellent guitar player. Brent smith is one of the best clean vocalists I've ever heard, especially acoustically (him, Shaun Morgan, and Ben Burnley are clean vocal gods). The coming album is amazing just based on the four tracks out so far, and Brent takes these songs and adds that toned down, calmer touch to them and it brings them even closer to the soul in many cases. All in all, this man, this band.. They're some talented motherfuckers.

The clean sound of the chorus is unreal. Personally on the very last chorus I would've loved to hear him hit just that little higher note that James does in the original version, cause I know he's capable of it and it would've sounded amazing. But what a fantastic cover. Brent Smith is a god damn monster.

I've seen Shinedown live twice and both times his voice amazed me. He had the audience eating out of the palm of his hand and hanging on every note. I was lucky enough to see them play Simple Man live for Dimebag as a tribute both times.
