One thing I figured out if you take the spring on the throttle cable and cut /(3/16) a little off of it you can get the carb to open up more. Since the spring does restrict it once you move the governor screw out. Then you need to stretch the spring out.

Certainly one of the better/clearer videos on showing the mods and not unnecessary chatter. Except I have a hard time believing that piece of frame you cut off doesn't add some sort of side to side stabilization.
I have a CT 200 U EX. Did many of same mods and then some. Does 60 mph. You will benefit from making a springer seat. Make sure to tie down the governor if you don’t remove it.
Playing with the governor witht he zip tie setup is safe? My brother removed his governor completely and had blown the motor and replaced it with a predator 212 from Hbr freight

@@extrap5217 yeah I blew my first motor out in about an hour, but I was holding it wide open the whole hour. Now I only hold it full throttle for a couple minutes at a time
I know this may be a little late, but I have the same bike. I have a problem with valve floating and the bike miss firing after putting an air filter and removing the governor. I would recommend getting atleast 18 pound valve springs and upgrading the spark plugs. If you want to get even more performance out of it you might want to look into upgrading the flywheel and rod.
I dont reccomend zip tieing the govenor arm spring because due to the zip tie limiting the spring it will give it less power for the govenor to control the fuel flow in the carburetor and then would give it valve float and then your probably replacing the valve springs every month or possibly every time riding it

i have a question ab my axism200 the black tubing coming out of my head is it supposed to stay in or do i pull it out when upgrading to stage 1 cause when i hook the new carb up there is no place for it and when i start the bike up it idles bad and when i give it gas it dies please answer i’m stuck
They sell an adapter that you slip right over that because it's five Ace it needs to be 3/4 I ran into the same problem but found the shaft adapter haven't had a problem

hey i just got the bike but there is alot of white smoke any suggestions to the cause, I also used like a 3 year old gas that was laying around, but could there be anyother problem??
And with the 225cc Tillotson Performance Engine, you should replace the carburetor that came with it and put a 24mm flat-side Mikuni carburetor on it, then it'll go even faster, that's what I did.
What size chain you have on yours going to do same mods but would like to have same rear sprocket but is it 40 size chain you ebay doesn't show the sprocket thanks
My parents got me one of these as a late b day gift and i was thinking of getting some of this stuff to make it go faster with the money i make from mowing lawns! And i was just wondering where that sprocket is from, i clicked on the link and it’s not there. :(
What adapter can you use with the 3/4” torque converter from OMB warehouse? The one I have does not seem to work with that specific torque converter as it has built in keys on the clutch.. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know.
I have the Coleman same bikes!! But one thing is totally different the seat springs Coleman's DNT have these!!!! I'm so mad rite now!! Lol why don't we have these?? Oh well I guess I can order the package from that company thanks for the share
I bought one ran it for a day then the next day i turned it on ran it for like 5 mins then it turned off turned out it got flooded changed the sparkplug it cuts on but after it idles for a few mins it cuts off any ideas what it could be?? Please help

This worked very well! I was surprised to see it would make a difference. My speed went from about 18 MPH to 37 MPH. Big difference!

A sprocket upgrade is where you got most the speed the exhaust doesn't matter on a four stroke as much as a two stroke the new carb also helped

Zip tie and tywrap are both name brands that we all commonly call them but their actually called cable ties. In case anyone wanted too know lol

I get the zip tie method with the governor but I just don’t want to blow up my engine by raising it to high of an RPM

We just put a vm22 mikuni, love that bike! My son and I are in the process of making a spacer for our exhaust.
Do you need a new throttle cable or was that optional?
Probably needed in order to have the right end to connect to the carb.

Woulnt the rest of the governor linkage fall right in to the motor and lock it up
I bought the same carburetor you linked and main Jets but I can’t unscrew the OEM jet from the other bronze part
You may have to use a tool to hold that bronze part in place while you unscrew that jet
How did you bend it back?
All you gotta do is heat the pipe with a map gas torch and bend it until it clears the frame.

the throttle set up you took off of the metal bar arm is swinging in there
you should run a chain straight from the clutch to the rear sprocket, you'll get 55mph easy have yourself a little street cruiser.

How fast did it go before you put the mod parts so when you bent the tab and did the zip ties
Went about 30 with just the zip tie mod
