I just purchased my new 3200 psi simpson pressure washer.. can't wait to use it😁👍🏼, but i did pay wayyyyyy less than you did... $268.99... yeah everyone get a pressure washer
Safety first- probably should have ear plugs and use safety glasses and a face shield when using the wand with one of the tips. I’d recommend wearing long pants as well. That pressure will take your skin right off.
BYD, good video. I rented a 4k psi, and 22 or 24in scrubber. Take your time and let the equipment do the work. My wife thought it looked fun and came out to help. The equipment worked her to the point of sweating. It stopped being fun at that point. LOL Since there was no chance of rain for the Memorial Day weekend, I tied multiple projects together and killed them all....just shy of them all killing me. LOL Rental place ran a special ...rent on Friday, return Tuesday morning for the price of a 1 day rental. I did My house, mom house, and mother inlaw, also cleaned and restained my deck. Those mid 90 degree days were NO joke. Now I have people in 3 zip codes that hate my guts. It's amazing how my sparkling clean concrete makes my grass, and their dirty concrete stand out.
Crystal Thomas how much did U end up paying, I’m also looking to start a business. Am a 16 year old and have about 400-500 total to start and get proper equipment.
Starting a small business amid this coronavirus pandemic. Do you think this will suffice for about 3 jobs a day? Just small residential and driveway gigs. Should I get the bigger model?
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral Im considering the 4200 psi model. Starting out, I'm not expecting to do 3 a day. Just a neighbor or family member to get acclimated to using it. Once I establish a customer base 3 would be the max I'd do a day. Right now im just trying to hustle.
My husband just bought a 4400 psi pressure washer and a 20 inch surface cleaner. I believe he over did it. It just came today so we still have a lot of learning to do before we even try it. I’ve seen where someone said you can damage the concrete so I’m trying to get enough information before we start cleaning our driveway and pavements
@@duh_ly_luh He did the right thing. I wound up getting a 3200 psi model w/ a 15 inch surface cleaner. The pump on mine isn't commercial grade. Your husband's is. As far as damaging concrete, the surface cleaner won't, but put the wrong tip on the wand and accidents can happen. The red tip that comes with these machines is dangerously strong. It will chip concrete, break windows, and strip paint. I only use it to clean really high places. If he's starting a business, start with family and friends houses. Take before and after pics, make a Facebook page for your business. That helped me a lot.
It may be a dumb question if it’s normal but is the pressure washer supposed to sound like it does in the video? Kind of if it was surging and not getting enough fuel
One thing with the surface cleaner. You may find that it stops rotating after a while. Just flip it over, use a hex wrench to loosen up and remove the center stud, and then use marine grease to lube up the center. Do that a couple times a season if you use it a lot. I also added another high-pressure extension so I do not have to lean as far. Next, I added quick releases not only for the high-pressure hose but for the garden hose too. Makes life a lot simpler to hook up and remove after completion. Finally, on Amazon is the turbo head for 17 bucks. This is a great addition to your cleaning heads.
I use the Simpson Pro 4000 professionally and you chose, in my opinion, one of the best homeowner pressure washers on the market. The surface cleaner makes anyone look like a pro for sure. Just a tip, I go around the edges of patios and driveways with my 25 degree tip so I don’t run my surface cleaner off the edges or corners and ruin the spray tips. Great job!
@Bermudarass Central Just a few tips for you on this. 1. Slow with your movements when using the surface cleaner attachment. It will clean so much better. 2. Take the alien screw out that holds the washer/spray bar in place. Pop out that peace that spins. clean it and put some grease on it. Will last longer for you and spin easier.
Great video brother. You convinced me. Since I am shopping for a similar product, how important or useful is it to have on "on-unit" detergent dispenser?
Great video. I just got a Simpson pressure washer that has 3300psi from Tractor supply. I also ordered the Simpson surface cleaner and look forward to using it when it arrives. Your yard is beautiful as well
Hello - Need help with a purchase. I am trying to buy the Simpson with the hood cover on Amazon. BUT Amazon has two different models I have tried to compare the two everywhere and can't get any information on the big differences. (MS61033 $429 vs. MSH3125 $368) the ms6 has hood cover, 100 more PSI and .1 less GPM then the MSH one has a black nozzle holder and the other has a metal one. That's about all the info I can find
I know this is an old comment but I just wanted to tell you that 100 PSI more and .1 GPM less pretty much cancel out when dealing with pressure washers. Google cleaning units and that will tell you how good it is
I did my driveway yesterday with the Dewalt version of that but with a Honda engine. Same stuff but with a mark up on the price because of the name on it.😂
Ryan Pounds I had to debate when buying it also. I went with Kohler because of price, I had a 36 mower with a Kohler engine and. It lasted 2o years also. Both are great though 👍🏾
Bermudagrass Central I would definitely go with the Simpson and Kohler engine if I didn’t already have the Dewalt. Needed one in a pinch last year so just picked it up at the Depot.

My friend, let me ask you a question. I just bought the Simpson 3200 (same model you have) this past weekend. I used it and I'd noticed that after about 10 minutes, I see the nozzle (right in front of the engine) started to squirt some water onto the engine. It lasts about 5 seconds, then stops squirting. Is that normal? Do you think it was designed to keep the engine cool off after awhile? Thanks for any advice!
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral - Excellent ... I was about to return it because I thought it was a defect 😁. Thank you my friend for your quick response! BTW, I used it with a 15" surface cleaner from Ryobi and it took me about 2 1/2 hours to clean my whole front + the sidewalks. Used to take at least 5 hours, so the surface cleaner saved me a lot of time, water, and usage of the pressure washer.
I've got a Simpson with the Honda GX200 engine. I think the weakest point is the gray hose that's included with these units (looks just like yours). Mine developed a bubble within HOURS of use.
