Dude, this is an amazing video. First of all, sounds like you were just starting out when you’re talking in this video, because you’re asking for 75 likes, and you have nearly 1500. Secondly, you’re giving an amazing amount of information here, so new guys like myself want to say thank you. But seriously, I would never charge that amount. For that house I’d probably do between $575 and $675 in the Madison Wisconsin area.

Dave, how do you determine that price? Is it by hour or by size of the house?
@@jamescooperjr3303 check out more videos here on RUclips from guys that do this, and you will see that they are talking about pricing things out per square footage, or linear footage if you do someone’s roof.
Look for my folder here on RUclips that says “pressure washing”, and you will see that I have kept a lot from different people that you can follow and learn from. And no, don’t do it by the hour, do it by the square foot or linear foot, for roofs.
Go to my channel and click “playlists”, and scroll down in alphabetical order till you see “pressure washing”.

late comment: hold the pressure washer wand trigger while you start it
Use some fuel stabilizer to see if that helps start the unit up. I use it on my lawncare equipment and it helps to get things that won't start, started! $3.00/bottle at Home Depot!

How much grass did you kill in this video? It seems like you might've killed alot of the grass
I've been watching 100s of videos as i'm starting up my own Pressure Washing Service. One thing i've noticed is everyone has a different chemical mixture. Yours is the one I prefer the most but I have a question. For your downstream, when pouring your mixture, do you put water in your bucket to dilute the bleach? I know downstreaming already dilutes it as water is coming through the hose already, just wondering if i should dilute my mixture in the bucket as well.
Test it out, if the organic growth is not coming off the surface odds are your diluting it to much. Downstreaming can only get so hot of a chemical. So for some surfaces such as many roofs, you would need a way to pull strongner chem.

Check your carb and make sure it’s not dirty. A little starter spray will help too.
You mentioned you were having trouble on turning it on, i recommend working with the throttle. With that I mean don’t have it full power or low power just work in between and you definitely will notice the difference

I have that same machine with same start up problem. I returned one and had similar issue with the new one. I think it has to do with the choke, I start the machine with no problem now but with the choke slide to off. Try it, hope it works for you.

How are you doing? Just quick question you didn’t add any water to the 5 gallon bucket of S&H? And do you have a chart of what S&H to use with what water and what solvent? Thanks. And you said after you pre-treated it surface, cleaned it you left S&H on it to dry and you left that on there and went to the next job?
How did you switch from soap water to straight water? Is there a button on the pressure washer sprayer?
When you are cranking up your pressure washer make sure you are pulling the trigger at the same time

Hey john I’m new to the channel and I love it already brotha. I’m curious if you can do a roof wash with just the jrod and pressure washer using the down steam method? Or do you have to have a soft wash 12 volt system???
FYI POWER washing is a hot water application. PRESSURE washing is a cold water application.
Is bleach ok to run through the pump on that model? I have a pressure washer with a built in downstreamer, but the spec sheet says do not use bleach. Just wondering so I can switch pressure washing models! thanks!
Im a mechanic. A lot of the issue with carbureted engines is fuel. The fuel used today is garbage. It’s only consider good for about two weeks. I’m assuming you burn through the tank every day or two, however you never know. Try taking the float bowl off and cleaning it out. The float could be sticking. And as mentioned use fuel stabilizer. Hey just had a quick question. Around the 5 min mark in the video it looked like the SH was pooling up on the bottom of the side or the house. Did you have to worry about the run off coming off the house and burning the lawn. Thanks trying to learn as much as I can!
wet the lawn and any plants before you start the job, hose them down really well with water first and the grass along the edges to be safe.
All of these online videos with guys letting chemicals run down the gutter is because they don't know the laws. This is a huge fine, and they are filming the evidence right here!

How are you getting strong enough bleach on concrete when that particular machine is like a 17:1 ratio?

In your state are you allowed to let the materials run into the water drain? Is that an issue you need to watch out for ?
I think you sometimes have to call them (city) to allow you or run the chemicals into their grass and water it down
Will this dewalt power washer draw water from a standing tank or do you have to have inlet water under a little pressure.
Wish you would show exactly how to down stream with the pressure washer. Im new and would love to know. I already have a j-rod
The gx200 is a great motor but can be finicky with the low oil switch so check your oil level. Other than that check your spark plug is clean and your gas is fresh.
As far as that downstreamer, how does that work? You connect the hose to the bucket with strictly bleach and sulfactant and does it mix with the water going through pressure washer and dilute it? Or is it onoy spitting out whats in the blue bucket? Im looking to buy a downstreamer for my soap to make iobs easier. Thanks ahead of time!
I got the same problems with my dewalt pressure washer
Should be spraying away from the grass and start from the bottom to the top when spraying the house. And spray down and grass or plants that could get hit prior to bleaching and after you hit the vegetation.

I’ve wondered the same. And you’re correct. You have to reclaim the water and throw it back onto the property. I am currently buying equipment to start on driveways, I’ve only been doing pool decks and cages.

Hey I have the same machine as you, have you ever used the pressure adjustment knob that’s right next to the downstream part, I feel like my machine is pushing out too much pressure and I wanted too reduce the pressure but mine seems too be stuck, so my question is have you adjusted it and if so how did you do it. I have the same machine, and it was a little hard to twist the first few times I used it, but you just have to put some elbow grease into it and you'll be able to adjust the pressure
Great video. I'm getting into the business as well. I have a 4400psi 4gpm dewalt, whisper wash 16inch surface cleaner, and a turbo nozzle. I have 10% SH but need surfactant. Which surfactant should I use? Elemonator is illegal here in CA 😔
Straight white vinegar has really surprised me, make sure you get the high acidity solution like 6% acidity and that should do it man it’s strong on the algae and mold

No not with a downstream mix
Please keep in mind, SH is considered corrosive and an algaecide. It will destroy plants, grass, etc. If it kills algae ,mold, mildew, and lichen, it will kill any plant life. Pre soak any vegetation prior to downstreaming, 12.5 or softwashing.

How long before the machine that your scrubbing the drive way with will have to be replaced as far as the part that's actually scrubbing the concrete...in case it wears out..

Great video, were did you purchase the elemonator from. Also, I plan on cleaning my house and we just had it painted last year. Will the bleach, and surfactant strip the pain in any way ?
You can get Elemonator from Pressure Tek. I bought some from there and it’s really good.
Marine Gas works best imo.
As far as you pull in the cord and it not starting just push the choke in a little bit with your hand as you do it it'll start up the first time every time.
And by choke I mean just push in little metal rod that's connected to the spring
