@@TwoTimesRmedia yeah they’re pretty cheap for f1.2 lenses. I’m not sure which one to pick up tho. I’m gonna do some research and figure it out. Looking forward to your review tho.
@@Mathew-vlogs out of all three from what I'm seeing the 23 mm has the best optics out of the bunch. Best at close focusing , best at chromatic aberration handling and I like the 35mm focal length in full frame terms. Not too wide and not too tight .
@@TwoTimesRmedia yeah, the 35mm is a favorite focal length of mine because of those reasons.
I have been debating on getting these vs the fuji variants, They are nice, but I tend to shoot in the rain and sand, so the no weather sealing with the USB port on the lens scares me a little bit. I try to get as many weather sealed lenses as I can just because you never know, however sometimes the budget just calls for what you can afford, so I still eyeing these. However on a side note those 7 Artisans have actually performed really well for me, I did a doc with one not to long ago and I really really like them! I haven't found them hard to focus especially if you use a follow focus and an external monitor, fujis focus assist tools leave quite a bit to be desired, however with an external monitor using its own focus peaking I can usually nail the focus easily, I've even used them at night for photos. I do agree that they are T/1.05 when comparing them against others. The thing is when they are measured in T stops that means that actually measure the photon flows with a photometer, so unless they are falsely advertising this I have a hard time believing that it isn't at T/1.05.
Yeah I need to use my 7artisan lens . I have the accsoon wireless follow focus system for it. I can't fully recommend these sirui lenses yet. Some quirks that I'm noticing with them. Still needs some firmware and the coating on the lenses could be better. Flare can be a bit much. The ibis isn't working with these as of yet. Also there is something that when you are shooting with these lenses before you hit the shutter and the record button they show a less contrasted image also like they are showing the raws or log footage then once you hit the record button or shutter it shows the image you are capturing it the way you are capturing it. If you shoot in log or raw then this won't be an issue. I haven't tried the update yet but I plan on checking it today to see if it makes a difference. AF has been pretty good. I shot this is 6.2 k and since that is usually a bit more sharp than 4k these lenses actually tone that down a little bit. In the talking head scenario it works nicely to me.
