Queendom genuinely felt like a love letter to Yeri since she joined the group later. It's the group doing their things, waiting for her to join them, being so happy and cheery showing her the ropes and bonding, and then guiding her to join their cult/girl group. I feel like it’s also for Wendy after her accident. She was highlighted a lot and sang “hey here we go again.” I also think the lyrics could be for her, like “I’ll hold you hand.” Just kind of the members being there for her in her extreme time of need. That’s what it reminded me of anyway.
I def see the yeri love letter tho, especially in the last chorus when they give her a wand and cheer her on.

Feel my Rythme is a MASTERPIECE! From the classical sample in the production. To the classical painting/art references that make up the entire video is phenomenally executed. Its stuff like this that separate RV from the rest of the industry. And thats no hate or shade on other artists. RV isn't afraid to take big bold risks. And I love them for it!!

Here are the paintings referenced in Feel My Rhythm. 1. Irene transforms into the subject of The Swing (c. 1767-68) by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. The lofty recreated image displays the natural scene of the original painting and Irene’s elegance through her dress and expression. 2.) Joy captures the essence of Ophelia (1851-52) by John Everett Millais. The original painting depicts the character Ophelia from William Shakespeare‘s Hamlet, who drowns in a river. Joy’s upturned hands mirror the positioning perfectly. 3) Nymphs Finding the Head of Orpheus (1900) by John William Waterhouse shows the head of Orpheus, of ancient Greek legend, after he has died. This less grim depiction has Joy playing the part of Orpheus and Yeri and Wendy shown as the nymphs. 4) Several paintings could be represented in the scene of Seulgi looking over the wall. Though it’s not for certain, the first possibility is The Curious Little Girl (1860-64) by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, a figure painting of a girl in contemporary life. 6) Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May (1909), also by John William Waterhouse, shows women gathering flowers in a field. Yeri and Seulgi copy the subjects’ mannerisms as they reach to pick the flowers.7) Woman with a Parasol - Madame Monet and Her Son (1875) by Claude Monet evokes a bright and lively feeling with a casual family outing. Irene and the vibrant colors used in “Feel My Rhythm” capture this perfectly. 8) The Birth of Venus (c. 1485) by Sandro Botticelli depicts Venus, goddess of love and beauty, on the shore after being born of the sea. Yeri plays the part of the goddess as the others dance around her. Other similarities include the flowers being tossed around and the ground illustrating water. 9) The most thoroughly represented piece of art comes from The Garden of Earthly Delights, a triptych created by Hieronymus Bosch (c. 1490 -1500.) The triptych is a work of art that can be divided into three sections. The three panels display Eden, Paradise, and Hell from left to right. Though the original intent of the artist has been debated for centuries, the art is clearly hugely symbolic in nature. Several references are made to this iconic piece.

Queendom is such a memorable comeback. It really is becaise the last group comeback is psycho. Feel My Rhythm is such a masterpiece and was taken from a classical song, well, Birthday is too. But what I am saying is RV is the who made classical x kpop fusion possible and many groups are doing it now too.

Yo 'Feel My Rhythm' is one of the best pop songs I've ever heard and one of the best uses of a classical sample I've ever heard. AND they used the "B-Part" of 'Air on the G-String' too, not just the part most people are familiar with. And they play the piece in at least 2 different speeds. And they pair it with Hieronymous Bosch? Love it.
Also yes, Yeri raps'hit different for me, too.
Maybe on Twitch, Queendom Restaurant 1 and 2 is very entertaining and insightful. 🤗. Plus, the performance video for Feel My Rhythm is top notch and a must watch! Some like it better than the MV. 😂. They sampled Bach for the song and the visuals for this MV refers back to all the many classic paintings… many cues from Bosch’s ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’.

A lot of the weirder elements of the Feel My Rhythm MV are lifted directly from Hieronymus Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights, which is one of the last things I'd ever use as inspiration for a pop video, but that's why I don't work for SM, I guess!

The classical sample is form Bach‘s „Air on a G-string“ and a lot of the art inspiration comes from Bosch‘s painting (like the landscapes, birds, and builds) but it also has some Monet and Botticelli
It’s just such a visually pretty music video plus the song for me is one of the best of 2022

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!! So sorry that I'm late- I am so glad that you guys finally checked these out Red Velvet always have crazy/weird/cool/artistic kind of Music Videos they always get my attention (because of how weird and cool), also y'all got to remember that Red Velvet always switch up their songs like it's insane how they switch it up but it sounds so good- it just fits with the song very well! Queendom was just AMAZING it was basically an appreciation video for Yeri and we love that- it's just such a great video and at 3:05 I just have to say the realization was everything that was funny, at 4:07 this was stuck in my head for awhile I could not stop singing it (it is definitely another cult song along with Ice Cream Cake, Zimzalabim, and Birthday) at 5:12 I agree Irene hit that she is just so STUNNING and so intimidating but also very cute at the same time (I don't know what to do half of the time when I see her), at 6:02 WENDY HIT THAT NOTE and she kept going (and Kess hmm is she the Wendy Bias?) Also at 8:00 this beginning was EVERYTHING with the paintings and then Wendy and Seulgi with the vocals nope this was destined to be iconic, at 8:37 and 12:50 THIS SEULGI HOLY COW I would bow down to her- I mean I already would but, at 9:10 and 10:18 this Joy is just WOW as well like JEEZ and her smile (this is why she is called Joy because she brings me Joy every time I see her smile- just like that fanboy), at 9:14 and 12:40 this Irene is just GORGEOUS she really went OFF on this one, at 9:50 and 11:26 Yeri again IS VERY UNDERRATED and here she is just lethal- also I agree her Raps are FANTASTIC as well, at 10:08 and 12:46 Dude this Wendy as well was just LETHAL and her freaking vocals on the Bridge and the last chorus (everyone's vocals on the last chorus) had me ascending to Heaven holy cow, and at 12:52 and 14:08 these scenes were so freaking Gorgeous and so cool it's just chef's kiss- also yep the Red Velvet switch ups they legit do that all the time and it goes so well get ready for more of those! You need to watch the Feel My Rhythm Performance MV and the MV for their Japanese album, Wildside; and go into their solo albums and the cherry on the cake, Irene and Seulgi's releases for their minialbum of the same name (there are 4 MVs and every single of them is a masterpiece).
You should include Japanese MVs like Cookie Jar, Sappy and Wildside being one of their best songs.
Please don't skip RED FLAVOR and react to their MVs from Japanese albums. Even sm doesn't seriously have plans for promoting them in JP, they have few comebacks with MV and album so you can check it as well🥰 Since you have been through their MVs, you could see how many of different concepts they have tried, it's still ongoing and also if you look carefully, you might see sth connecting to their old MVs and their designated colors, fruits, so on...

Feel My Rhythm is just one of THOSE songs! Idk how to describe it but it's just a beautiful combination of vocals, instruments, and lyrics to make a song for the ages. Gfriend has some of those, as well as Oh My Girl! It's like when people say "Oh, that's a classic!"

At first I am confuse about Feel My Rhythm not sure to like it or what after a couple of listening it has been one of my all time RV songs. It has an element of calming yet upbeat and at the same time is taking me to another dimension every single time I hear it. Not to mention that the MV was inspired by several popular cryptic arts such that of Hieronymus Bosch. This MV made me really really proud as Reveluv. Such a Masterpiece
