I got my Kushaq 1.0 STYLE AT... This car is so smooth while driving and it will make other car owners jealous looking at the way this car overtakes and rides like a King.
I have driven this entry-level Kushaq. And I can confidently say that it is probably the best handling car in city conditions that I have ever driven. As Gavin said, if no one told you it's a 999 cc engine, you won't realise that it's a 999 cc engine. The downside of a Kushaq is its cabin quality. It is bad. Skoda really needs to improve a lot there.
I vote for creta considering after sales service, spares and maintenance cost, spares availability, etc. Kushaq i would consider if i were a driving enthusiast and isn't much bothered about vfm.
Hyundai Creta users have learnt from the past that they should never bet for ride and handling, cornering with Germans in highways. But surprisingly Kia Seltos owners haven't learnt about it. As they are new kid in the block it ll take some time for them to realise their strengths and weakness in highways.
hes the best one in doing comparisons.the way he speaks and explains is way much better than others.bro you always nail it with your funny yet expressive fluent calm english.
Fantastic to see Gavin. On RUclips and other platforms definitely people will buy the Skoda and VW. In real world it would be a Creta and Seltos. 😬 Can compario be done between Creta, Seltos, Tiguan, Khushaq and dare I say Compass! 😬
Exactly, only on RUclips Germans have a big fan base.. I believe most of them own suzuki in reality... 😅😂😂 Took Kushaq 1.0 test drive and have posted my detailed comments... Keeping the build quality aside kushaq 1.0 is even inferior to Sonet 1.0 😅... Why compare with Creta.. it might be more powerful with 1.5 tsi... Which I haven't rode.. but, 20 lakhs for any of this German twins is utter waste... 😀
The kind of product Hyundai has pulled off with Creta is quite frankly INSANE. The things it offers in it's segment is just mind blowing. Not the best on the dynamics front, but other than that it's quite the perfect midsize SUV. I don't see any other car beating this insane package in the near future.
To sum up, skoda kushaq 1.0 TSI AT is a driver's car and Hyundai Creta 1.5 iVT is meant for comfort, features. Editing and review are great Autocar. Choosing mesmerizing locations for reviews and comparisons are divine!!
Well Put Together. Autocar is right,Hyundai Knows what Indian consumers are looking for and that's it why Creta Dominate the Segment despite having a couple of new rivals!
Dear Sir, Please also mention in the safety features comparison that Skoda Kushaq has Brake Disc Wiping, Muliti Collision Braking, Electronic Differential Lock, which the Creta does not have.
Kushaq 1.0 TSI top end automatic is almost 19lakhs on road.. At that price point I am feeling a little shy to say that I own a car with 999cc engine.. After all we still believe there is no replacement to displacement.
Which should not focus on CC ..that engine should be compatible with the car I suppose ..if 1 litre can give u that punch then why to unnecessarily go for higher CC ..Indian roads ok with 1litre turbo also
Actually Gavin i am waiting for comparison between Skoda kushak Volkswagon Tiguan just like there was comparison between nissan Magnite and renault kiger so it is great fun to watch comparisons between siblings hope you guys get this comparisons soon
Kushaq Tsi is best in terms of ride handling built quality , active and safety features compared with creta anytime 👍🏽 it's value luxury and a great brand for the cost 👍🏽
Nice, balanced review. Would be great if you can do a similar one with the Taigun too. A shootout with the Korean and German twins would be what many of us want to see!!
I think though kushaq styling is remarkable and also built quality but in response to creta i feel kushaq's cabin quality and just 1.0 engine is just sufficient but not just par with creta. If skoda needs to compete with creta Or even seltos other brands in this segment need to offer more. Creta's cabin quality, ride quality, overall appearance is 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Skoda May be superior and better choice in terms of robust and sturdy build quality for safety but for long run maintenance costs Creta May be a good choice.
Good content by autocar! I am seein these videos as well as follows it just because I am passionate about cars and love it. Though I am not like these content creators. As of now I am just a student.
Hyundai has got one advantage here. If you need smoothness, 1.5 petrol will beat the Kushaq. But for Kushaq 1.0's performance, Creta's diesel is the answer which is a superior engine overall (added f.e. is the advantage.) 1.5 kushaq or 1.4 Creta will remain niche.
Taigun 1.0 Topline beats all the cars in the segment and no one shows that car in there reviews . It has all the features and build quality is also good with great ride quality . on a different level compared to Koreans rival’s
The cabin quality of kushaq seems notches above that of creta, is evident in this video.. Then what would be the difference when seen in reality.. Reasons Vw skoda sells despite their service costs.
More than relevant, saves a lot of money, fuel efficient in both manual and auto versions. International car, dynamics are good, build is good, spacious and comfy. Automatic looks meager with 4 speed gearbox on paper, but in practice, as good as any auto boxes in this category.
I did drove the Creta with the 1.5 petrol manual ...it is refined and smooth...but for me, Kushaq is best

There are more comments about Gavin than the cars 🤣 You now know who we want Autocar!
😂🙏🏼
The base petrol comparison is a very interesting idea! Glad to see Gavin back:)
Thank you! It's nice to be back! 🙂
Heart said.. Go with Kushaq... Mind said.. Go with Creta.
Listened to heart and bought Kushaq..
Refreshing to see Gavin back! And interesting topic by Autocar as usual!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked the topic 😊
What a surprise Gavin....we were waiting for you to come back on the screen
Thank you. Happy to be back too! 🙂
@@gavin_drives 👍👍👍👍
I think the analog gauges in the Kushaq are more classy than the digital ones in the Creta
Autocar has such a class in everything they do! Also so good to see Gavin after a while!!
Long time Gavin. Hope you are doing well.
Hey Kshitij! I am, thank you. I hope you are also 🙂
@@gavin_drives hey Gavin we've booked the creta CVT without driving it even once.. can you please make a detailed video on the CVT.. thankyou 😁
Seeing Gavin after so long.
It's good to be back! 😀
@@gavin_drives 😄😄
Hey Gavin,
Nice to see you 👍
My vote goes to Kushaq ❤️
People comment Kushaq and buy Creta 😶

If any car has to compete with Creta in its segment it needs to offer lot more. Creta has become like Maruti 800 of its era ...
One of the best car reviewers.. Everytime Autocar pops out with a new video, i would expect it is you..!! Missed you Gavin..!!
Good to see Gavin again, splendid work as always
Thanks Ananth! 🙂
now that is a review that will appeal to most Creta or Kushaq buyers! excellent choice
Creta and Seltos has become Swift dzire of the SUVs.. I see them every where.
Kushaq is a fresh breath of air
Always a blessing to watch Gavin 🎊

one of those rare and great comparison reviews where verdict does not matter , thanks Gavin and Autocar India team.
Extraordinary presentation skills and choice of words Gavin
Love your work

No cars can beat the driving pleasure and comfort of germans…..thank you autocar
Epc issue is causing headaches for owners of kushaq and Tiguan
Ok german kid
finally after so long..Gavin is back..thanks Autocar

Cool review!!! Eagerly waiting for slavia from Škoda.
I will go for Skoda Kushaq because its the best ❤️
finally, Gavin is here...was missing his videos a lot.. welcome back❤️❤️
Fab review. Happy to see Gavin after so long:)
Longtime Gavin, Ms Kriplani n you are the best reviewers at Autocar India 🙌🏻
To sum up, skoda kushaq 1.0 TSI AT is a driver's car and Hyundai Creta 1.5 iVT is meant for comfort, features. Editing and review are great Autocar. Choosing mesmerizing locations for reviews and comparisons are divine!!
Good to see you back Gavin! Great review once again. I went with the Kushaq, although the creta was very compelling.
Well Put Together.

Wait I sat it both I found the kushaq more comfortable in every angle XD
Gud To See Gavin After Long Time.. Hope U R Doing Gr8 Bro
Just the video I wanted .. thanks for making this
You are god send for this Gavin....stay blessed..Listening to you just make me feel as if I am driving that car..
Good to see this guy back in business ❤️
I just luv typical Gavin's style of review
Kushaq 1.0 TSI top end automatic is almost 19lakhs on road.. At that price point I am feeling a little shy to say that I own a car with 999cc engine.. After all we still believe there is no replacement to displacement.
No worries
Just say I own a German car... It has more class than saying I own hyundai
Which should not focus on CC ..that engine should be compatible with the car I suppose ..if 1 litre can give u that punch then why to unnecessarily go for higher CC ..Indian roads ok with 1litre turbo also
1 litre tsi is not reliable i think ....
Actually Gavin i am waiting for comparison between Skoda kushak Volkswagon Tiguan just like there was comparison between nissan Magnite and renault kiger so it is great fun to watch comparisons between siblings hope you guys get this comparisons soon
You mean Taigun.
Tiguan is bigger sibling parallel to probably Kodiaq
Kushaq Tsi is best in terms of ride handling built quality , active and safety features compared with creta anytime 👍🏽 it's value luxury and a great brand for the cost 👍🏽
Comparison of XUV 700 vs rest of the segment please ...
When it comes to driving, it is whole other story..... That ia good one Gavin and welcome back 🎉 after a gap😃😃😃
Missed Gavin, great review as usual.
Great to see you, Gavin. Please do one with Seltos and Taigun just to complete the loop ;)
Good to see Gavin. One of the best in his trade
Old school people like analog meters, digital either end up good one or tacky
Congratulations on your Creta Gavin!
There’s really something about Gavin reviewing 🚗
Definitely kushaq... because of turbo power output.. mainly its skoda...❤
Hope this channel will reach 2million subs soon✌️🤟!!
Gavin you rock the reviews.. Good going 🏄
Electronic parking break is certainly a feature but it's the worse in long run. Also having non digital cluster in skoda is so much better.
That line " there is the reason why creta has dominated the segment since 2015": gave me goosebumps!!....
Width as per dimensions is not much more... But the rear seat "feels" More wide and comfortable for 3
Y cmparing an under power engine.... must take the 1 5 TSI Kushaq.
Nice, balanced review. Would be great if you can do a similar one with the Taigun too. A shootout with the Korean and German twins would be what many of us want to see!!
This comparison is very very helpful 👌. Thanks 😊
Great impartial review. Though you declared Creta having the final laugh by a small margin but this review did helped me in finalizing kushaq
Gavin u r best but where were u , Hope to see u frequently from now.
Kushaq❤
One breaks down, the other doesn't.
Though numbers suggest that Creta has a bigger boot space but if we put luggage it’s Kushaq which has bigger boot
Autocar, please be the first ones to do punch vs kiger vs magnite comparison before everyone jumps on the bandwagon
I think though kushaq styling is remarkable and also built quality but in response to creta i feel kushaq's cabin quality and just 1.0 engine is just sufficient but not just par with creta. Gavin's made his comeback. Hip hip hooray.
Why hyundai not offers manuals in the fully loaded sx opt petrol cretas????😐
Dont no the reason for not being active in the channel Hope gavin stays with Autocar😄
Kushak 1.5 Dsg can be compared by ?
Yeah its a 7 peed DSG not just DSG.
Back hear soothing Gavin's review 😊....
My Vote goes to Kushaq.
Skoda May be superior and better choice in terms of robust and sturdy build quality for safety but for long run maintenance costs Creta May be a good choice.
Will wait for Skoda Slavia!
CRETA is the segment King 👑. Best seller also in it's segment.
already owner of a kushaq and a happy one
Kushaq undoubtedly 😎
2:21 Seriously? They look way more premium than those laggy low quality screens.
Awaiting for the comparison between MG Astor 1.5 CVT and Hyundai Creta 1.5 IVT!!! @Autocar please review it
Love ur content 😉☺️
Thank you, and keep watching!
@@autocarindia1 sure...let everyone subscribe 🌻😊 to this channel
You guys should have included the Kia Seltos and Volkswagen Taigun main reveals 😐
In one frame 4 cars 🙂
BTS: The butterfly ones 19:46 😂😂😂😂

Good to see gavin back. 👍

Kushaq anyday 😍
Just waiting for Gavin videos missed a lot.
Can you explain tyre and suspension noise??
Nice comparison 👏👏👍👍

1.5 kushaq or 1.4 Creta will remain niche.
Never Because Skoda already beaten Seltos and Creta in every from feature, specification, power, comfort and safety
Taigun 1.0 Topline beats all the cars in the segment and no one shows that car in there reviews . It has all the features and build quality is also good with great ride quality . on a different level compared to Koreans rival’s
Kushaq everytime 👍
The Creta's white elements on the dash is a recipe for eye fatigue during long drives
The cabin quality of kushaq seems notches above that of creta, is evident in this video.. Then what would be the difference when seen in reality..
Reasons Vw skoda sells despite their service costs.
Gavin bhai in house ✨🔥
Hi, can you also include Astor torque converter n compare these 3 ? Can you also comment on maintenance part? Which one is easy n cheap to maintain?
mg has the lowest cost of maintainence , but creta petrol is also low cost to maintain at number 2
Do maruti scross zeta a relevant car theses days with this mid size suvs?
More than relevant, saves a lot of money, fuel efficient in both manual and auto versions. International car, dynamics are good, build is good, spacious and comfy. Automatic looks meager with 4 speed gearbox on paper, but in practice, as good as any auto boxes in this category.
