Ok being an Elevate Zx MT owner for past 5 months here are my verdict. Honda on the whole a value for money car. Pros: 1. Roomey and posh interior. 2. Sufficient power to overtake and enjoy. Not like turbo. But still more than enough 3. i-VTEC simply superb 4. Good headlights. Not the best but good alfor night driving. Note: I am spectacle user and I have good visibility at night. 5. AC is very good 6. Auto dimming IRVM is good 7. They claim 8 speakers. But actually 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. Alpine infotainment. Sound is really good. Foolish to compare with Sony, Bose, Harman etc 8. A humongous boot space. I'm 6foot 100 kg person. I can fit in the boot easily. 9. Pulling power with fully loaded is very good. I'm 100kg 6 foot person. Plus 4 adults it easily pulls. 10. Fuel Efficiency is good. I get 12km/h in city bumper to bumper. Highways around 15.7ish. speeds in highway around 90-95ish. 11. ADAS is simply useful in highways. Cons: 1. I don't like sunroof. It's unnecessary 2. Reverse camera and lane watch camera clarity could've been better. It's not the great neither worse. 3. Missing 360 degree camera 4. Underthigh support could've been better. 5. Middle row rear seat could've been better 6. Nvh is there. Could've been better. Not the great. Not the worse too.. 7. Horn sucks honestly. People see that as a Activa horn 🤣 8. ADAS doesn't get permanent switch off. Each restart you need to turn off the ADAs manually. But annoying. But ok for me Overall I am more than satisfied. I would rate 8.5 of 10..👏🏻👏🏻
I am unable to understand why most reviewers like you guys are totally biased about Creta. While I have nothing against Creta, the Taigun & Elevate are excellent vehicles & each of them have their own USP. Taigun’ excellent driving dynamics, ride & handling, safety & a very smooth 4th generation Torque converter are best in class, Honda’ reliability & best in class when it comes to Naturally Aspirated engine & the best CVT offered with minimum rubber band effect in its class and Creta’ overall engine refinement, excellent look-n-feel interiors with excellent feature offerings are best in class. These are the USPs of each of these vehicles in offering, which was not shared with the audience at all! Anyone, depending on their individual requirements & budget can opt for any of these vehicles. All of them are excellent vehicles having unique USPs.
We haven't been biased. The Creta ticks more boxes as per our standard scoring system. We have also done our best to highlight the pros and cons of all the cars here.
Well to undertand you need to go and test drive these vehicles. Ivt on the hyundai is better than honda cvt. Honda reliability is overrated. Ask any honda owner on their regular service cost. And 100-0 is not the only parameter that determines brakes. Brake feel, bite all matter. Also drum brakes show deteriorated braking performance on a long drive. Discs cool off faster.
That’s cuz creta is a well rounded product. Hondas after sales service n reliability is overrated. Atleast in today’s times. Yes it was good like 10 yrs back or something. Hyundai has eclipsed Honda long back in terms of feel good factor, peace of mind, desirability, badge value n fit n finish. As for the driving dynamics, none of these cars are gonna run on racetracks anyway so that’s fine.
Elevate has more than 10% better breaking performance compared to creta , yet same score there. Furthermore, Elevate again has over 15% advantage over other two in city fuel efficiency, and yet you rated it worst there like the breaking before..why the hate towards honda? ! Did hyundai sponsor this ?
People say elevate has the best suspension but creta is not at par and ranks before in the segment. People say Taigun doesn't have a great ride quality. But you say creta has best suspension setup and that taigun is most comfortable for long journeys. Is very confusing. Can someone with experience with these cars throw knowledge.
Well, he is right. Elevate has good ride quality and suspension travel but there is a lot of side to side movement at slow speeds because of higher ground clearance. Taigun is stiffer but the stability it provides is great Creta has the best low speed ride. Not much side to side movement. But on the highways it can get a bit soft when loaded with 5 people + luggage
