How much do you fill your 6x3 cake pans?
I'm guessing she does 2/3 full. I wonder how long she bakes them. I know it would probably be at 325 degrees (low and slow for deeper pans) but for how long? I seem to underbake the thicker ones...

I don't know if I can use the strips. I'm so afraid they'll catch on fire in the oven.
They don't - I use them often and because they are soaked in water and are wet, they won't catch on fire.
