I love your reassuring voice. If I were to take a cooking class I want you to be my instructor. I know you wouldn't mock me, yell at me, or tell me what a total klutz I am.
Good explanation of how to make it and how it works. One thing you should've done, you could bake one with the strip and the other without just to show how good those strips work.
I have a cooling towel, those super absorbent ones that we dont use anymore. I can use that right?
thanks for sharing with us. I will try this. God bless you.
Defienately gonna try this today😊thankyou for sharing
Can you use it on spring form tins too?
Great video!
Thank you for sharing.
Plz answer can we use this technique in baking in pan ?
I saw this in a video awhile back and I baked a 9x13 cake yesterday and did this. It worked absolutely amazingly. I'll never bake another cake without it.
it's truly amazing right! thank you so much for the feedback
@@VeryCherryCakes also I should tell you that the other video I saw it in used wet paper towels, which is what I used. The sides of my cake were just ever so slightly lower than the center. Next time i will be using your method of cutting up an old towel. Thank you SO much for that idea. I feel certain that it will give me the perfect results I'm looking for ❤.
Can I dk this with a glass pan??
Will definitely try this
Coz I just hate these too much offcuts
Thanks alot
Hey dear I don't have a silver foil so what should I do please reply
Does this work with eggless cakes too?
I have 2 pme baking strips, but often use this method if I have more than 2 cakes to bake. It works great 👍
Debbie Hargreaves omg that’s awesome, it’s so much better to not have to cut out domes lol 😆
Thank you so much, this is superb!
Cold water?
Gracias por los tips! De casualidad no tienes la reseta de cake pop’s? Gracias
Viky Guzmán gracias! Aquí está una de mis muchas recetas de cakepops ruclips.net/video/1vHrq1tZeYA/видео.html
If we put the strip should we bake for more time?
Instead of cake strips can we use a water bath?
Thanks for sharing 👍
Yes! The cake scraps are annoying lol I always end up eating them or throwing then away! Is this the same idea as the baking strips?
tee96 lol omg me too!!! And yes this is totally the same idea as baking strips, except I had to make this cake and didn’t have time to order them 😅
I use the Wilton strips, but perhaps having a custom size for your pan like you use is a bit better result. Have you ever tried adding flower pins to the center? Wondering if those make any difference. Thanks for sharing your tips.
I recently ordered the Wilton strips and can't wait to try them, i'm sure the result is similar. I have tried with the flower pins and also with the big centers (idk what these are called) but they are made of the same material that cake pans are and you place them in the center of cakes and it helps to bake them more evenly. thank you so much for your comment and for watching my video.
@@VeryCherryCakes I have the wilton strips. they work. But I think it says after about 10 cakes baking. They do wear down. I noticed some burnt spots on my strips after using them. they do seem to slide down some. but i have been using them on 2 inch high by 9 inch pans. But my cakes do come out flat as long as you have about the same volume of batter in ecah pan for a double layer.
Please I need the recipe for your cake
Am gonna try it on monday
How did it go?
Nice idea
Can i use this method in microwave as i bake in microwave
Almunium foil will spark in microwave, try using baking cake strips.
Can i rather put water inside the oven under the rack to get the humidity that is required
The strip is to insulate the pan so the outside of the cake batter doesn't bake too much faster than the center, not to add humidity.
Mam i have try this in my microwave convention but my microwave get sparkling.. What can i do plz help me mam
paramjeet kaur hello, this technique is for regular oven not microwave
Can I use only towel without foil
It will dry out
Can I use the wet cloth alone to cover the pans? Without the aluminum
That will be hard to transfer heat.. I guess

Penelope Nyakudya doesn’t really matter, just make sure that are completely soaked.
Can you make baking videos for beginners 💚
Or a video showing all the tools we need to start baking for beginers
Is this just normal temperature water?
yes it is, as long as the strips are wet the water temperature doesn't matter 😊
