I lost a friends toddler amongst the clothes racks in a department store for about 40 secs…. That was 50 years ago and I can still feel the panic today
The exact thing happened to my aunt, my grandmother and myself. My little cousin ( who actually was married today) he was a stinker anyway but he decided to hide from us in the clothes rack at Walmart, I was pretty young but the panic I was feeling just watching my aunt panic looking for her child was unbelievable. They called a code Adam and locked the store down so no one could leave.... Then he pops out lol. After my grandma finished loving on him I'm pretty sure to lit his behind up.. lol but yeah he wasn't my kid but I promise she was more upset than this lady smh
I lose my mind when my dog escapes. Literally, almost shut down from a panic attack. He’s older now and stays closer to me. Never happened with my kids but they’re adults now and I still freak out if I can’t reach them.
I was in target one day and I had to step up on a shelf to grab paper towels. When I stepped up, my daughter was to my right. I stepped down and she wasn’t there. She had moved to my left. My soul left my body. This pos isn’t a mom and didn’t deserve this baby. I’m disgusted with the fact that she’s out of prison. It’s filthy.
My son went missing when he was 2 for maybe 1 hr or so and I couldn’t breathe. They had to bring an ambulance and give me something to calm me down . I was wailing with the most painful and guttural scream . It’s a physical pain you can’t imagine. Thank GOD he was found by 2 teenagers who called their mom who in turn called police. My son had wondered off a playground. He is now 24 and I STILL can’t forget that pain . Her calmness is sickening and so abnormal

This happened to me when my son was two years old, he went missing in my own house for less than five minutes and I was on the phone with the police, he was just hiding in my bed scared because I was screaming so loudly for him. Two hours would kill me

Man, I lost my daughter to cancer 3 years ago . She was 6 ! I cry every day . I balled this morning to the point I couldn't breathe! Her 10th birthday is coming up.. Not a single day goes by I dont think nor miss her . This lady, has no heart.
My son was separated from us after a fireworks event in downtown Memphis. It was storming, people were running to avoid the rain and I was GOING CRAZY with worry. He was located in a short time but it seemed like an eternity!! He was 7 y/o at the time. He's now 39 years old. My heart still hurts every time I think of it, and we've Never attended another downtown 4th of July celebration. We get together at my house. He still laughs at how I wouldn't let him go that night!!! Thanks for letting me share this frightening moment!

I think lawyers should be mandated in interrogations. anytime your rights are read the police should be required to have an attorney present. if someone is guilty the police should be able to get a conviction based on physical evidence, a confession should never be the sole reason a person is convicted. by having mandatory attorneys false confessions will be eliminated, and innocent peoples rights will be protected. if a guilty person wants to confess at least they will be doing so with there attorney present. just an idea..
I had my car stolen in the first 3 months I first moved to the big city from the country for a girl I fell in love with there and I was so sad that my girlfriend felt compelled to call the office to tell them she thought she better stay home and wait for the police with me. Lol. I was kind of in shock. Culture shock. Lol

Same! I lost my son when he was younger at Walmart because while i was looking at clothes he decided to play hide and go seek from inside the small space on the clothes rack. Nonetheless those few moments felt like hours. My heart dropped to my stomach. And as i panicked and cried his name, he popped out a rack over saying "peek a boo!". I know it happens to all parents but the difference in us and this MOMSTER (she doesnt deserve the title of mother) is that we actually freaked out and went looking for our kids because we care. Her lack of emotion as she talks about what she "thought " happened to her son is disgusting. Some people dont deserve children. So sad for that precious baby boy! Im glad shes where she belongs and not out here procreating.
My youngest son wandered out of the house early one morning while I was asleep. He was almost 3 years old and he took a plastic toy screw driver and popped the child lock off the front door knob. When I woke up and saw the door open I literally felt my entire body go cold. Luckily he never left the yard but those 60 seconds where I thought he was gone, not knowing how long he’d been outside, I felt every single bad emotion and after I got him back inside I actually threw up and then held him for the longest time. My husband had to console me when we were falling asleep that night because I still kept randomly bursting into tears. My child was safe and sound but I was still a complete mess. I cannot fathom being even a fraction of as calm as this woman is! It’s eerie and very telling.
I’m glad he was safe, don’t beat yourself up to bad. All parents have been there. Your child is not the first to escape, he won’t be the last. Your not a bad parent.
Yep! You are spot on! My 5 children decided to play hide and seek at our “new” house many years ago and my 4 yr. old never came out of her hiding place, the closet, but nobody knew where she was. After some time I literally collapsed, screamed uncontrollably in our front yard knowing that she had been kidnapped. I totally surprised myself at my hysterical behavior. It just happened. I wanted to throw up. I wanted the world to stop spinning. I was inconsolable. When she came out of the closet, down the stairs to the front of the house and we saw her, I began to cry. It was just such a relief.
I once lost sight of my son for a couple of minutes at the museum, I was running around and screaming the place down like a nervous wreck. That woman is no mother.
Same here, except about 20 minutes in a library. I had everyone in the place searching and was nearly hysterical by the time we found her (curled up, reading a book in a space at the bottom of a bookshelf!). I'll NEVER forget that feeling of terror as long as I live, I was so afraid she'd been taken.
@@Lorithehun That is the worst feeling in the world. Me an my wife an 3 of our grandchildren were at SeaWorld and in a second the littlest 1 was gone. I went crazy running around like a mad man looking an yelling his name. Then after about 5 mins which seem like for ever he was just standing there in a crowd of people and said to me that we just left him. I felt so bad an his little tears just rolling down his face an i said bud papa would never leave you an we thought you was right beside us. I could never imagine losing 1 of my kids and keeping my cool.
I couldn’t find my cat for about a day and a half. I searched everywhere. She wasn’t in a panic because I’m sure she could hear me call to her so she knew I was there and she knew where she was. When I did finally find her, I burst into tears, snatched her up, held her and gave her a million kisses before I put her back down. She just sauntered off
@@suziecreamcheese211 I freek if I can't find mine within 10 minutes of me calling her because she doesn't go outside. She normally always comes when I call her unless she is not feeling well or is scared. Then I give her 10 minutes before I get worried and get frantic 😢

I’ve had a missing child (for all of about 18 hours- I can tell you, it goes like this- hysterics. Frantic calling- a need to drive all over the world to hunt down anyone that can tell you anything that might help- more hysterics and frustration, followed by self blame and regret, then bargaining (I’ll do /won’t do anything to have her back/or even know she’s safe…. There’s no “normal conversation- it’s interrupted constantly by explosive sobs and uncontrollable tears.
I worked for missing people for about 5 years. I knew how often kids go missing and turn up. Still didn't stop me getting hysterical when my teen went missing for a few hours. I had it all over social media, shared thousands of times. She was embarrassed when she got back but it made her think twice about doing it again knowing I worked in the field where I could get her name out there and get people looking within minutes. Still terrifying!

My ex showed up to the school and took my kids and tried leaving state she got lucky the school called the cops telling them I was after her she got lucky they found her before I did she didn't even get charged with anything I would've been under the jail
Omg me too have had moments like that with all three of my kids a few times and I was frantic. Lost sight of them for such a short time but even when I think back now it feels like it was in slow motion and I can feel my anxiety rise.

Well actually everything in your head is organised, when it isn't well organised that is often shown as forgetting. You can forget the truth as well as lies although i take your point that truths are often better organised having numerous associated index tags built in the mind. I lost sight of my daughter once in a department store for about 30 seconds. If felt like a lifetime. That was 19 years ago and my stomach still knots up remembering that feeling. I wasn’t calm, I was frantic! I screamed her name, running around like a mad woman, yelling to everyone within 100 feet of me what she looks like, how old she is and telling them all to help me. She had gone into a restroom that was 5 feet away from me. I never let go of her hand again. Ever!
Yep my son got on the wrong bus at the age of 6 he just wanted to get on the bus his friend was on..I left my job to drive all over town stopping random busses at traffic light's to see if he waZ on Thier bus...I stopped kid's walking asking if they had seen anything..Finally after an hour and busses being parked for the night my son had fallen asleep in the seat and popped up when the bus stopped....thankfully all is well but.....I never let him ride a bus again....
It's the scariest thing, when that happened to me, my whole body just shocked, my world crumbled, thank God to see my babies face that day was overwhelming, I love them so much.
When my son was 4, I thought he got outside by himself and that I'd lost him.. I was doing dishes (his room was right off the kitchen) and he was playing. Dad told me he was going to run to the store (right across the street) and left. I noticed after a few moments that it was far too quiet.. I ran all over the house and when I saw my front door slightly ajar and I'd had a safety door knob cover so I knew he couldn't get out on his own. Once I realized that, all logic went out the window and I went into a full blown panic thinking he had gotten out.. we lived on a VERY busy road so my mind was going to the worst places possible until I happened to look across the street and see his Dad carrying him out of the store. I WILL NEVER forget the panic and gut wrenching pain in the pit of my stomach. This woman clearly feels NOTHING and it's beyond baffling.
Yes, agreed and the smarts haven't figured out that they watch your behavior from start to finish. Too calm- red flag. Too hysterical- red flag. Giving unnecessary information- red flag. Giving detail information and all of a sudden get amnesia - red flag. Body movements, no eye contact...red flags... Its hysterical to watch...not the situation but the lies.
If your babay was missing for a long time would you wish they were dead and not suffering or would you wish they were alive somewhere possibly suffering? If I lost my little child I'm not sure how I would feel about the question.
I find myself commentating the videos in my head. “At this point, she repeats the question before answering it, which is an attempt to use a little extra time to think about her answer, which is an indication of guilt”.
I guess I'll add my story of momentary panic at "losing" a child. A few months ago I noticed my front door was slightly ajar. As a joke I hollered to my wife in the other room that our son, who is 5, had run off, thinking he was in the room with her. She came flying into the living room as, I soon learned, he was not with her. The panic that ensued! She flew out the front door and I began screaming his name at the top of my lungs throughout the house, and into the backyard. To our relief, she found him sitting on the car in the driveway (which is something we let him do when he is supervised in the front yard) only a few seconds after she went outside, which meant he had probably been outside a couple minutes at that point (which is terrifying). The surprising thing is, he had never opened the door before and we didn't know he could so that is why I made the joke in the first place. I still think to myself "what if I had just closed the door and walked away thinking it was left ajar by me or my wife? Would he be dead or kidnapped?" It honestly haunts me. The lesson here is keep the front door locked, and if it's open, always assume someone got out.
What a scaryp story! The *"WHAT IF"* parts of the stories we tell to ourselves will eat us alive! Glad it all turned out good! *LESSON IS....* Your son is only getting older each day. He's learning new things every day. Yesterday he had never opened the door on his own but today *HE DID IT ON HIS OWN* , Soooooooo *NEVER LET THIS LESSON LEAVE YOUR MIND for the future!* He's growing and getting smarter every day. Thing was... I bet he was *SO PROUD OF HIMSELF* cause he learned something new but you as the parent have to save him from himself.... lol cause while he's being SO PROUD, he had no idea it was also dangerous for him to do that. Anyway.... your story hit home for me cause I had a similar story only it was with the car door and the cars at that time didn't have automatic locks once your car is going 15 mph. He could just open the door to the car and he was proud until he almost died. So yeah.... But WE ALL LEARNED A LESSON THAT DAY!

Thankful and grateful to God to this day each moment I found her sitting at a table of Bikers peeling and eating crawfish. This is Louisiana. Could not be calm like this. I think police figure that out. They know....if they are parents...they know.

Begging , pleading, & praying for anyone to listen, & please find your child.
My mother is a sociopath but even she can fake more feelings than this woman. She talks about her baby being possibly dead with the same tone she uses to talk about making shrimp Alfredo. She can’t even fake it. There is just nothing there.
@Truth Trust I lived with her for 17 years. Their is way too many things to describe, including some suspicious deaths. I have read up on Sociopaths since and what I know ticks the boxes. I stay away from her but she still tries to destroy my reputation at every turn. After all, if I were to tell what I knew, who would believe such a bad person as I am? People always assume mothers automatically love their children. I have read a lot of true stories and true crime and I know there are a lot of mothers like mine. It’s a shame and I feel for all those that have had such parents. Maybe one day, new parents will have to have a license, which would only be granted after psychological profiling, drug testing and parenting classes. Until then, if you see something, please tell someone and help protect the children xoxo

My bad Dad story is that, when my son was almost toddler, but still sleeping in a crib, I came into his room and found several broken cigarettes in his crib. So apparently, the last time I had leaned over and checked on him in dim light, several cigarettes came out of my shirt pocket and fell into his crib, w/out me noticing. Then he had found them and crunched them up. I was frantic because I suspected tobacco was poisonous if he had eaten some, but he had nothing in his mouth, so I called a hospital help line before dialing 911. Based on my son's behavior and physical signs (happy and normal) and the likely amount he could have consumed, they felt he hadn't ingested any, but told me what to watch for - for treatment at an ER. He was fine, so that wasn't necessary, and it reminded me to be careful w/ the most important thing in my life - my son! He's now 27 and an awesome, smart reporter.
I worked 3rd shift, came home and my 1yo got out door while I laid down while he was still sleeping. Got up and he had unlocked the door and took off. I was fit to be tied. Everyone was searching. Cops found him and rode around apartment complex looking for where he belonged. People knew cause we were all looking. Talk about relief, cop said, he needs a diaper change and told me he was headed for main road and they seen him in a restaurant parking lot were they were taking a break. I was so grateful, they could tell it was just a thing that can happen to anyone, so nice to me. He did stink in his one piece footy PJs. Smiling like always, he is 33 now. Got a new kid proof lock, no calmness when child is missing. No no no.
One of my biggest fears ! We have the childproof door knob covers on our outside and bathroom doors for this reason. That’s so scary. Thank God you found your baby safe 🙏🤍
Back a million years ago when I was a child, there were certainly pervs and weirdos, but if a toddler turned up missing the whole neighborhood checked car trucks basements woods. One of my younger brothers super powers was that he could literally DISAPPEAR in seconds … literally. Helping my mom at the grocery she said get the large jar of pickles off the bottom shelf by the time I picked it up and put it in the basket the #>>>€%}*€ had disappeared. He did this so often when I walked to the front of the store they made the announcement for him being missing without me saying a word. As the oldest I absolutely HATED parks, fairs, amusement areas because I knew that I’d live on adrenaline until we left keeping control of my siblings and not loosing Houdini - it all came to a terrifying head in 1963 when he got out one morning before I was up. The sheer terror was something almost 60 years later I recall. It wound up being a near death experience because he’d crawled into a old fridge (which for younger readers used to close and couldn’t be opened from the inside) when we found him the police and ambulance said he had about 45 minutes of air left. I soooo wanted to throttle him, but as usual everyone thought he was a cheeky monkey and I was in big trouble ….. you’re so right missing child is never never never a calm second. My daughters used to call me smother until they were teens and I could trust them to use their cell phones to call and if they didn’t I could at least track their GPS location …. Better safe than sorry
I had my 6 and 7 yr old come up missing within a few minutes after asking if they could cross the street to feed the ducks (in a gated community) - I screamed their names at the top of my lungs for 15 minutes running around the neighborhood barefoot sweating, head spinning, then I ran home grabbed my phone, called 911 and gave the most clear description of them, what they were wearing and then I just broke down heaving. About an hour into the search we learned they had gone into a neighbors house who also had kids their age and were perfectly safe but I tell you my entire world came crashing down in that hour and it took weeks before I got over it, the experience of losing them for an hour was enough to throw me into such distress - this woman did not lose her child unknowingly.
OMG, her son was vomitting and had diorhea, and had a head injury, and she thought she'd leave it a few days before taking him to a doctor. SMH. Some people really do not deserve to have children 😡🤬

I had the same incident with my 1 1/2 year old son in JCPenney & had the store closed. He learned how to unbuckle his stroller belt & hid inside those clothes hangers. I was so terrified & will never forget how helpful everyone at the store was.
That is exactly where my 2 year old daughter always hides. I check the clothes first now everytime she takes off down an aisle lol. I got back to my sister's house from the store last weekend and did not see my 2 and 4 year old daughters anywhere. I instantly began to panic. I had attitude with my sister's 13 year old son until he led me to my sister's roon in the back and there they were. My sister has a lot of bedrooms and i didn't fathom she would let toddlers play in hers lol. She's a neat freak. My nephew started calling mw mama tiger and said he had never seen me so "ready to pounce" lol hahahaha but, yeah, no playing about my beautiful little babies.

@@littlesmith5005 they're cats, they have the ability to effectively hide in holes in closets where it is difficult to find them. Then you get paranoid that maybe they snuck out the door past your feet while you were bringing in groceries in or whatever.
@@pimentoloaf1509 no, cats do not do "just fine," on their own, outdoor cats have a significantly shorter lifespan on average than indoor cats so I'd say anyone who declaws or who let's their cats roam by themselves outside is a monster who shouldn't have pets.
I remember my brother being missing at a mall back in the 80’s and remember my mother ‘bout shut down the the whole mall looking for my brother. Thankfully he was found! That being said watching this woman and remembering how my mother acted this woman either really does not care about her children which is sad in itself or she knows what happened!
Although she didn’t directly caused her son death, by preferring a drug dealer boyfriend to watch him over her mom. she indirectly is responsible for his death. Anyone who leave their child with non relative and not responsible person is a bad parent. Of course he has the time he doesn’t work and makes him money illegally.

i got hit by a car and when i woke up in the hospital, i refused to talk until my lawyer told me it was ok. they finally got her on the phone and she told me to sing like a canary. my lawyer is my niece. i will never hear the end of it.
I've drilled that into my kids from a young age so much that when I watch one of these and they walk in, I start my chant and they laugh "I KNOW MOM! Never talk to a cop without a lawyer!"
I am a lawyer and will always say the same: It is way better that police think you’re guilty, than they can prove it in front of a Court because you spoke to much without even noticing.

When they did an autopsy on the baby, they found that he had prior broken ribs and a concussion. His poor little life wasn’t very good even before he died.

Keep your babies close quote by patsy Ramsey. Even when they are in front of you. Don't trust other children either. Don't listen to people when they say you're over protecting, there's no such thing when it comes to keeping your child safe. Teach her healthy boundaries from the start. Don't force her to hug or kiss people hello or goodbye. Give her the blessing of having a choice.
I don't understand what's going on in the mind of mothers like her...leaving her child in the hands of a boyfriend. How long did she know him? She looks very relaxed, calm, cool. Not like a mother whose child is missing...no tears, no sobbing, just talking to the interrogators confident that she is not involved, but also not upset for her missing child
Too many details in her story = fabrication. I can’t remember what I had for lunch two days ago but she remembers that she made Alfredo, what was in the kids bottle and when her roommate left. But not once did she ask about her child. I guess she already knows where the kid is..no need to ask 🤷🏽♀️
Its the only thing she knows how to make and she's mighty proud of it. They Got it well rehearsed on what they had to eat provided by the good parents. I never want shrimp Alfredo again after hearing this.
A few weeks ago my cat's tail got caught in a door as my brother was shutting it and he quickly realized it when my cat howled and made a sound like a baby crying. I was inconsolable and sobbing, and I insisted we call the mobile vet. I cried all afternoon and showered my furbaby with love, scratches (his favorite), and all his favorite food. Thankfully, the vet said he was completely fine. That was for a cat.
I accidentally let my friends/neighbors dog loose once. I panicked, freaked out. Cried and tried so hard to catch her and bring her back home. I was hysterical. How can this lady be so calm when her kid is missing.

I thought I lost my five year old nephew years ago while out in the middle of town. I was yelling and screaming his name I felt physically sick, dizzy and panicked. He was right behind me and whenever I turned he turned it was only after I heard him giggling right behind me that I realised. I swear the relief I felt made me break down crying, then he starting crying and hugged me. This all take place in about 30 seconds. I made him hold my hand till we got home even though he protested stating 'I'm a big boy.' I told him big boys don't scare their aunties like that.'

All of the interrogations of parents who have a child that has died prematurely, always shock me. They are always so calm and even sometimes have an attitude. They'll talk about random things like normal etc. No-one is ever frantic or crying and shaking. No one is ever inconsolable. I would be lost and losing it and my heart would be broken. I would want to feel like dying to be with my baby and they don't feel any of that emotion. Monsters.
My Son fell asleep on the bus yesterday and was dropped off at the wrong stop 2 miles away from home, he also left his phone on the bus, he was gone for 3 hours which felt like 50 years. I was beside myself, my husband was within minutes at the school checking all the grounds. Within minutes there was 20 plus family / friend members looking for him, the police were called, the school was called, the hospitals were notified. The bus services were stalled and trains. He came home safely. But I am still getting flash backs of my son being scared , frightened. Mother like her sicken me to the core.
I don’t have any children of my own but I do have a niece and nephew and if anything ever happened to them I’d be inconsolable. So how does the biological mother of a missing child be so bloody calm?

I lost my middle son for about 1 minute in a maze at a fair and I was frantic and screaming for help and yelling out what he was wearing so people could spot him .. I almost passed out and was so thankful when he came running up to me. Another time my MIL left my front door unlocked and my middle son has ADHD and no sense of fear.. him and my youngest snuck out and made it to the elevator where a woman found them and waited downstairs at the front desk.. meanwhile as soon as I realized about 1 minute after they left .. I was SCREAMING at my MIL for leaving it unlocked and to help me find them .. everything was like slow motion and my body felt like jello.. I couldn’t breathe I started having a panic attack while running towards the elevator .. screaming their names but I also felt like I was whispering and barely running cuz it was in slo motion and didn’t seem real I was so scared. As soon as I got outside I was screaming at people outside asking if theyve seen any little boys and was completely frantic .. as soon as I seen them like 1 minute later at the front desk after running around tge building I fell to the floor in relief and started crying hysterically and thanking everyone. Since then I have added more child locks than I originally had to ensure they can’t get out again. This woman is not acting right .
If I can’t find my dog within seconds I’m in sheer panic. For her to remain so calm and collected is mind blowing. It’s her child. CHILD!

The exact thing happened to my aunt, my grandmother and myself. My little cousin ( who actually was married today) he was a stinker anyway but he decided to hide from us in the clothes rack at Walmart, I was pretty young but the panic I was feeling just watching my aunt panic looking for her child was unbelievable. They called a code Adam and locked the store down so no one could leave.... Then he pops out lol. After my grandma finished loving on him I'm pretty sure to lit his behind up.. lol but yeah he wasn't my kid but I promise she was more upset than this lady smh

My son went missing when he was 2 for maybe 1 hr or so and I couldn’t breathe. They had to bring an ambulance and give me something to calm me down . I was wailing with the most painful and guttural scream . It’s a physical pain you can’t imagine. Thank GOD he was found by 2 teenagers who called their mom who in turn called police. My son had wondered off a playground. He is now 24 and I STILL can’t forget that pain . Her calmness is sickening and so abnormal

My son was separated from us after a fireworks event in downtown Memphis. It was storming, people were running to avoid the rain and I was GOING CRAZY with worry. He was located in a short time but it seemed like an eternity!! He was 7 y/o at the time. He's now 39 years old. My heart still hurts every time I think of it, and we've Never attended another downtown 4th of July celebration. We get together at my house. He still laughs at how I wouldn't let him go that night!!! Thanks for letting me share this frightening moment!

I think lawyers should be mandated in interrogations. anytime your rights are read the police should be required to have an attorney present. if someone is guilty the police should be able to get a conviction based on physical evidence, a confession should never be the sole reason a person is convicted. by having mandatory attorneys false confessions will be eliminated, and innocent peoples rights will be protected. if a guilty person wants to confess at least they will be doing so with there attorney present. just an idea..

Same! I lost my son when he was younger at Walmart because while i was looking at clothes he decided to play hide and go seek from inside the small space on the clothes rack. Nonetheless those few moments felt like hours. My heart dropped to my stomach. And as i panicked and cried his name, he popped out a rack over saying "peek a boo!". I know it happens to all parents but the difference in us and this MOMSTER (she doesnt deserve the title of mother) is that we actually freaked out and went looking for our kids because we care. Her lack of emotion as she talks about what she "thought " happened to her son is disgusting. Some people dont deserve children. So sad for that precious baby boy! My youngest son wandered out of the house early one morning while I was asleep. He was almost 3 years old and he took a plastic toy screw driver and popped the child lock off the front door knob. When I woke up and saw the door open I literally felt my entire body go cold. Luckily he never left the yard but those 60 seconds where I thought he was gone, not knowing how long he’d been outside, I felt every single bad emotion and after I got him back inside I actually threw up and then held him for the longest time. My husband had to console me when we were falling asleep that night because I still kept randomly bursting into tears. My child was safe and sound but I was still a complete mess. I cannot fathom being even a fraction of as calm as this woman is! It’s eerie and very telling.

My 5 children decided to play hide and seek at our “new” house many years ago and my 4 yr. old never came out of her hiding place, the closet, but nobody knew where she was. After some time I literally collapsed, screamed uncontrollably in our front yard knowing that she had been kidnapped.

I wanted to throw up. I wanted the world to stop spinning. I was inconsolable.
When she came out of the closet, down the stairs to the front of the house and we saw her, I began to cry. It was just such a relief.

Frantic calling- a need to drive all over the world to hunt down anyone that can tell you anything that might help- more hysterics and frustration, followed by self blame and regret, then bargaining (I’ll do /won’t do anything to have her back/or even know she’s safe…. There’s no “normal conversation- it’s interrupted constantly by explosive sobs and uncontrollable tears.

I worked for missing people for about 5 years. I knew how often kids go missing and turn up. Still didn't stop me getting hysterical when my teen went missing for a few hours. I had it all over social media, shared thousands of times. She was embarrassed when she got back but it made her think twice about doing it again knowing I worked in the field where I could get her name out there and get people looking within minutes. Still terrifying!

Yep my son got on the wrong bus at the age of 6 he just wanted to get on the bus his friend was on..I left my job to drive all over town stopping random busses at traffic light's to see if he waZ on Thier bus...I stopped kid's walking asking if they had seen anything..Finally after an hour and busses being parked for the night my son had fallen asleep in the seat and popped up when the bus stopped....thankfully all is well but.....I never let him ride a bus again....

It's the scariest thing, when that happened to me, my whole body just shocked, my world crumbled, thank God to see my babies face that day was overwhelming, I love them so much.
When my son was 4, I thought he got outside by himself and that I'd lost him.. I was doing dishes (his room was right off the kitchen) and he was playing. Dad told me he was going to run to the store (right across the street) and left. I noticed after a few moments that it was far too quiet.. I ran all over the house and when I saw my front door slightly ajar and I'd had a safety door knob cover so I knew he couldn't get out on his own. Once I realized that, all logic went out the window and I went into a full blown panic thinking he had gotten out.. we lived on a VERY busy road so my mind was going to the worst places possible until I happened to look across the street and see his Dad carrying him out of the store. I WILL NEVER forget the panic and gut wrenching pain in the pit of my stomach. This woman clearly feels NOTHING and it's beyond baffling.

I guess I'll add my story of momentary panic at "losing" a child.
A few months ago I noticed my front door was slightly ajar. As a joke I hollered to my wife in the other room that our son, who is 5, had run off, thinking he was in the room with her. She came flying into the living room as, I soon learned, he was not with her. The panic that ensued! She flew out the front door and I began screaming his name at the top of my lungs throughout the house, and into the backyard. To our relief, she found him sitting on the car in the driveway (which is something we let him do when he is supervised in the front yard) only a few seconds after she went outside, which meant he had probably been outside a couple minutes at that point (which is terrifying). The surprising thing is, he had never opened the door before and we didn't know he could so that is why I made the joke in the first place. I still think to myself "what if I had just closed the door and walked away thinking it was left ajar by me or my wife? Would he be dead or kidnapped?" It honestly haunts me. The lesson here is keep the front door locked, and if it's open, always assume someone got out.
What a scaryp story! The *"WHAT IF"* parts of the stories we tell to ourselves will eat us alive! Glad it all turned out good! *LESSON IS....* Your son is only getting older each day. He's learning new things every day. Yesterday he had never opened the door on his own but today *HE DID IT ON HIS OWN* , Soooooooo *NEVER LET THIS LESSON LEAVE YOUR MIND for the future!* He's growing and getting smarter every day.

Anyway.... your story hit home for me cause I had a similar story only it was with the car door and the cars at that time didn't have automatic locks once your car is going 15 mph. He could just open the door to the car and he was proud until he almost died. So yeah.... But WE ALL LEARNED A LESSON THAT DAY!

I lost my little girl at a restaraunt as we were checking out and I ran into the parking lot frantic and threw up immediately. Thankful and grateful to God to this day each moment I found her sitting at a table of Bikers peeling and eating crawfish. This is Louisiana. Could not be calm like this. My mother is a sociopath but even she can fake more feelings than this woman. She talks about her baby being possibly dead with the same tone she uses to talk about making shrimp Alfredo. She can’t even fake it. There is just nothing there.
@Truth Trust I lived with her for 17 years. Their is way too many things to describe, including some suspicious deaths. I have read up on Sociopaths since and what I know ticks the boxes. I stay away from her but she still tries to destroy my reputation at every turn. After all, if I were to tell what I knew, who would believe such a bad person as I am? People always assume mothers automatically love their children. I have read a lot of true stories and true crime and I know there are a lot of mothers like mine. It’s a shame and I feel for all those that have had such parents. Maybe one day, new parents will have to have a license, which would only be granted after psychological profiling, drug testing and parenting classes. Until then, if you see something, please tell someone and help protect the children xoxo

My bad Dad story is that, when my son was almost toddler, but still sleeping in a crib, I came into his room and found several broken cigarettes in his crib. So apparently, the last time I had leaned over and checked on him in dim light, several cigarettes came out of my shirt pocket and fell into his crib, w/out me noticing. Then he had found them and crunched them up. I was frantic because I suspected tobacco was poisonous if he had eaten some, but he had nothing in his mouth, so I called a hospital help line before dialing 911. Based on my son's behavior and physical signs (happy and normal) and the likely amount he could have consumed, they felt he hadn't ingested any, but told me what to watch for - for treatment at an ER. He was fine, so that wasn't necessary, and it reminded me to be careful w/ the most important thing in my life - my son! He's now 27 and an awesome, smart reporter.

I worked 3rd shift, came home and my 1yo got out door while I laid down while he was still sleeping. Got up and he had unlocked the door and took off. I was fit to be tied. Everyone was searching. Cops found him and rode around apartment complex looking for where he belonged. People knew cause we were all looking. Talk about relief, cop said, he needs a diaper change and told me he was headed for main road and they seen him in a restaurant parking lot were they were taking a break. I was so grateful, they could tell it was just a thing that can happen to anyone, so nice to me. He did stink in his one piece footy PJs. Smiling like always, he is 33 now. Got a new kid proof lock, no calmness when child is missing. No no no.

Back a million years ago when I was a child, there were certainly pervs and weirdos, but if a toddler turned up missing the whole neighborhood checked car trucks basements woods. One of my younger brothers super powers was that he could literally DISAPPEAR in seconds … literally. Helping my mom at the grocery she said get the large jar of pickles off the bottom shelf by the time I picked it up and put it in the basket the #>>>€%}*€ had disappeared. He did this so often when I walked to the front of the store they made the announcement for him being missing without me saying a word. As the oldest I absolutely HATED parks, fairs, amusement areas because I knew that I’d live on adrenaline until we left keeping control of my siblings and not loosing Houdini - it all came to a terrifying head in 1963 when he got out one morning before I was up. The sheer terror was something almost 60 years later I recall. It wound up being a near death experience because he’d crawled into a old fridge (which for younger readers used to close and couldn’t be opened from the inside) when we found him the police and ambulance said he had about 45 minutes of air left. I soooo wanted to throttle him, but as usual everyone thought he was a cheeky monkey and I was in big trouble ….. you’re so right missing child is never never never a calm second. My daughters used to call me smother until they were teens and I could trust them to use their cell phones to call and if they didn’t I could at least track their GPS location …. Better safe than sorry
My youngest son did the same thing when he was 2-3 years old. I used to call him Houdini. I was frantic til I found him. He's 26 now.

I had my 6 and 7 yr old come up missing within a few minutes after asking if they could cross the street to feed the ducks (in a gated community) - I screamed their names at the top of my lungs for 15 minutes running around the neighborhood barefoot sweating, head spinning, then I ran home grabbed my phone, called 911 and gave the most clear description of them, what they were wearing and then I just broke down heaving. About an hour into the search we learned they had gone into a neighbors house who also had kids their age and were perfectly safe but I tell you my entire world came crashing down in that hour and it took weeks before I got over it, the experience of losing them for an hour was enough to throw me into such distress - this woman did not lose her child unknowingly.
OMG, her son was vomitting and had diorhea, and had a head injury, and she thought she'd leave it a few days before taking him to a doctor. SMH.

I lost site of my daughter in target for 20 secs and went into panic mode my entire world stopped..then i found her in the clothes hiding. I wanted to shut down the store until she was found...how can you act so normal..
I used to hide in the clothing racks from my mom when I was a kid. I thought it was HILARIOUS watching her freak out... her, not so much.
My daughter is 14 and I tell her all the time, I will burn this whole country down to find her if she ever went missing. I truly don't understand how a parent can act like nothing is wrong while their child is missing.
I had the same incident with my 1 1/2 year old son in JCPenney & had the store closed. He learned how to unbuckle his stroller belt & hid inside those clothes hangers. I was so terrified & will never forget how helpful everyone at the store was.
That is exactly where my 2 year old daughter always hides. I check the clothes first now everytime she takes off down an aisle lol. I got back to my sister's house from the store last weekend and did not see my 2 and 4 year old daughters anywhere. I instantly began to panic. I had attitude with my sister's 13 year old son until he led me to my sister's roon in the back and there they were. My sister has a lot of bedrooms and i didn't fathom she would let toddlers play in hers lol. She's a neat freak. My nephew started calling mw mama tiger and said he had never seen me so "ready to pounce" lol hahahaha but, yeah, no playing about my beautiful little babies.
I lost my kid in the Target clothes rack one time and Target had that place shut down in less than one minute! He was pretty embarrassed.

I cried all afternoon and showered my furbaby with love, scratches (his favorite), and all his favorite food. Thankfully, the vet said he was completely fine.

He was right behind me and whenever I turned he turned it was only after I heard him giggling right behind me that I realised.
I swear the relief I felt made me break down crying, then he starting crying and hugged me. This all take place in about 30 seconds.

All of the interrogations of parents who have a child that has died prematurely, always shock me. They are always so calm and even sometimes have an attitude. They'll talk about random things like normal etc. No-one is ever frantic or crying and shaking. No one is ever inconsolable. I would be lost and losing it and my heart would be broken. I would want to feel like dying to be with my baby and they don't feel any of that emotion. Monsters.

My Son fell asleep on the bus yesterday and was dropped off at the wrong stop 2 miles away from home, he also left his phone on the bus, he was gone for 3 hours which felt like 50 years. I was beside myself, my husband was within minutes at the school checking all the grounds. Within minutes there was 20 plus family / friend members looking for him, the police were called, the school was called, the hospitals were notified. The bus services were stalled and trains. He came home safely. But I am still getting flash backs of my son being scared , frightened.

Another time my MIL left my front door unlocked and my middle son has ADHD and no sense of fear.. him and my youngest snuck out and made it to the elevator where a woman found them and waited downstairs at the front desk.. meanwhile as soon as I realized about 1 minute after they left .. I was SCREAMING at my MIL for leaving it unlocked and to help me find them .. everything was like slow motion and my body felt like jello.. I couldn’t breathe I started having a panic attack while running towards the elevator .. screaming their names but I also felt like I was whispering and barely running cuz it was in slo motion and didn’t seem real I was so scared. As soon as I got outside I was screaming at people outside asking if theyve seen any little boys and was completely frantic .. as soon as I seen them like 1 minute later at the front desk after running around tge building I fell to the floor in relief and started crying hysterically and thanking everyone. Since then I have added more child locks than I originally had to ensure they can’t get out again. This woman is not acting right .
