  • Armond Johnson murdered four people, including his six-year-old son in July 2019. It started when Johnson confronted his ex-girlfriend Takeyra Collins about her seeing other men. Johnson shot Collins multiple times, resulting in her death, and then set fire to the house. 2-year-old Aubree Stone and 6-year-old Armond Johnson Jr. were in the house and died of smoke inhalation from the fire. As Johnson was running away from the home, he ran into David Cousin Jr., whom he also shot and killed in order to not leave a witness. Armond Johnson was found guilty of the charges of fourteen counts of aggravated murder, three counts of arson, two counts of endangering children, one count of kidnapping, and one count of tampering with evidence. He was given four consecutive sentences of life without parole. Watch the full interrogation of Armond Johnson.

I didn’t realize that he had been sentenced already. I was thinking the Sam thing that the detective was gonna blow a conviction for him because she kept on going at him after he said he wanted a lawyer. The other officer was wise, he shut up, got up and walked out. The female detective apparently does not know the law herself. Yes it’s shocking. Yes he is a monster and innocent people are dead, but she kept say as a woman I am trying to understand. Understand this lady, he asked for his lawyer. Justice was eventually done

Here’s the thing though… what if he’s innocent and they’re only claiming to have this evidence as a bluff? The bottom line is they violated his rights by not ending the interrogation the second he asked to speak to a lawyer. If he is actually innocent what do you think his reaction would be? He would be crying. He would be asking for his grandma, etc. Neither you, nor I are privy to the actual evidence against him. Cops are allowed to lie as they see fit in an attempt to induce a confession or to try to cause a suspect to incriminate himself. He may very well be guilty and if he is I hope he receives the Justice he deserves, but unless I’m sitting in the court room hearing all of the evidence I’m not going to proclaim him either way.

Erm, you have the right to remain silent doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t be held accountable for the things you’ve said without a lawyer present. My cousin went to trial on a murder charge and after asking for a lawyer she was repeatedly questioned and everything she said during the questioning was brought up during the trial. She was a get away driver, did 4 years in COUNTY and then signed for 10 year probation later.
The justice system is horrible, she should have gotten at least 15 years for her part in casing the joint and then being the get away driver after the robbery/murder. Imagine being one of the sole reasons a veteran lost his life in front of his 10 year old son and foreign wife and only doing 4 years in county jail, no prison time.
I can’t imagine the pain of the son and wife. Cuzz-o should at least be paying child support to the kid since she’s walking around free as a bird and the child lost his father and the wife lost her husband

This woman conducting the interrogation has such an attitude. She needs a LOT more training, especially on rapport building and listening skills. She drove me crazy.

When this guy took that sip of water, it gave the impression "I'm do not care" type of thing. I'd be crying if someone accuse me of killing my children. He's drinking some water.

Thank goodness he didn't get away with this crime. The female detective was pushing it she was starting her opinion and still asking questions even when he kept asking to talk to a lawyer. The male detective did the right thing but she didn't budge at all she kept asking questions. If he don't confess ok let the evidence do the talking!!!

Lawyer requested.......interview over. Anything said after his request for a lawyer.....is going to get thrown out. She is messing up her case by continuing to talk.

This is so bad! This man asked for a lawyer about ten minutes prior to this investigator continuing on relentlessly with her interrogation . She read him his Miranda rights twice and she just kept going .. insane !! Totally corrupt of these two detectives .

Yeah not right but why are you more mad at that and not a person who killed his own son? You sound like you might need to go on a list.

@@mrwhite2039I don't think it's concern for him. It's concerning about continuing to ask questions after he ask for a lawyer. That could give him an out on appeal.
