When I was younger I never knew why my mother was so strong in her convictions to not leave us around anyone, no sleep overs, constant talks, she was involved in every way. In my child mind I was so upset and felt so sad I couldn’t do what the other kids did. As I got older and heard the experiences the other children had, went through trauma myself and heard my mothers story I definitely understand now
I am the same way with my son. I even sit on the porch as they play in the yard. Kids are vulnerable and defenseless. Most ppl don’t take care of their own children properly so I’m definitely not going to leave my priceless blessing with them.

That little girl is gone tragically way before her time. The neighbor saw a child that she knew her parents wouldn’t be frantic if she was gone for a few hours without knowing where she’s at and let a stranger take advantage. I don’t think the guilt can help cover those emotional wounded mistakes so easily. Especially how they found her. That moment he violated her is when knowing who she’s with and where she’s at at all times mattered. The moms intuition kicked in at the right time but she didn’t act on it because she wanted to believe she was just fine. She should’ve called her neighbor

It sounds like they just let her go wherever whenever and when she came home, she came home and when the sitter had her, clearly NO ONE was checking up on her or doing anything other than pawning THEIR daughter off on someone else, for this kind of thing to happen. Everyone in this little girls life failed her, and although I’m glad this piece of $hit got put away, this could have very well been prevented. It’s inexcusable on everyone’s part bc they all played a part in her death IMO. At 9 years old, this was the last thing she should have ever had to worry about until it happened and NO ONE was there to help save her. All the humans in her life failed her time and time again and it’s absolutely disgusting.

When you consider it, Felicia should have been in school. This pos could smell the vulnerability and desperation of Eboni who knew him for what 2-3 days before this happened, and left that young innocent girl with a total stranger? She definitely knew more than what she let on. But I think she quickly cottoned on what the pos wanted but she didn't care, she probably got money to score some drugs. Very very tragic story on how Felicia was neglected by all the adults in her life. The thoughts about what that poor child went through in her final hours.. May she rest in peace with angels.

She wasn’t being supervised and protected properly. That was evident from the mother’s response to being told her daughter was missing. She said “ she’s probably riding her bike at a friend’s house somewhere “ . This is a 9 year old. This was a girl left to her own devices quite often. I can still empathize with the mother, but I can’t pretend like that wasn’t a contributing factor as to why that young woman brought the girl along, in the first place and left her with that monster. ...she didn't care where that lil girl was as long as she was out of hair. They left a lot out on this show probably to protect the family. Her sis is young and wasn't going to tell the entire truth and make mom look bad.
And Ebony should've been charged with more, she knew what he was going to do. She sold him that little girl which is why she left her with him and didn't take her with her and than lied to the police.
