Thank you Chris. Yes it has hit home, all eight! I'm in a new relationship as of last year and two months in, one very large lie was brought to the surface and then with all the rest of the issues I don't feel secure at all and always feel like a second option. We were friends beforehand so he used to tell me about a female friend ex Co worker but two months into our proper relationship he suddenly , out of the blue, showed me her photo, showed me their last message trails where he was telling her she was beautiful and flirting with her, then he showed me a very tiny tattoo of her name on his arm. The thing is, we were in bed together at this very time! He was literally bragging about her and then said" don't worry, she was the one that got away!" Yet he was still in contact with her. Speaking as a really emotionally aware person Chris, do you find this behaviour normal? To make things worse he has since done all things on your list and on top, he confides with him mother on everything we talk about and she thinks it fine to keep many female friends with whom he can have dates and flirt with. She is supposed to be Christian! I am often ganged up on

My God. This is exactly how I feel in my current situation. We haven’t been together long but there’s a lack of physical and emotional intimacy that’s killing me inside, because I am in love and want that connection so much.
He’s trying to make me feel like it’s no big deal, we’re older now, most of the time a relationship is spent on the friendship side of things anyway.
What I don’t understand is if you don’t even want me, if you don’t want to be intimate with me, why are you trying to have me around when the actions aren’t even there?
