Just got home (Pa) from 6 weeks of Alaska fishing. The tide there rips! Takes 5lbs of lead to keep your bait down. Came home with a good variety. Halibut, salmon, ling, rockfish

glad to see you get back out Gary. I'm lucky I can fish fresh water bass tournaments without getting sea sick. Those salt rollers would do me in in just a few minutes! Hope to fish Oriville some day If I ever get out on the road sometime. It's a long drive from TN River. Hope you got a good 'fishin fix'.

I used to ab dive, and rock fish out of Albion Fish camp. At low tide I'd drag my aluminum boat over the bar at the mouth of Albion river, very shallow there. Your boat being larger, and heavier probably wouldn't make it. I'd usually go there twice a year, and get all the seafood I needed, but quit when they closed ab diving.
I miss the ab diving a lot.

Love the fishing video. Fishing is my favorite sport. I have never done any sea fishing. But I have done a lot of fresh water fishing here in Oklahoma where I have resided most of my life. I love watching all of your videos. I always wanted to prospect for gold. Seems like something I would really enjoy. But there's not a lot of places to go prospecting here in Oklahoma. I will retire next year I hope. I have a long bucket list of things I want to do. I have never seen the ocean. Or did very much travel. Hope you have a wonderful day. A bunch of my Grandkids are in Nebraska, would move out there, but no gold and don't think you can get further from the ocean.
If you ever get the opportunity to drive the Oregon and California coast highways, don't miss it. Start in Astoria Oregon and head south, it is is just magnificent.

That's a really nice boat, Gary. I moved out west from Florida. Been fishing my whole life but these Pacific ocean fish of yours are very unfamiliar to me. I need a lesson in fish ID out here. I would go out with you anytime.

Have yo? seen that the state is trying to push a new bridge on us? New Albion bridge it would be. Will close the entrance to Big River for 2 plus years. Nothing wrong with the current bridge, kinda cool looking. I live in FB.

A change usually brings fish on the bite
Use 8oz. Banana sinkers .say you need more weight just snap another one on . They stay in line and less snags . Plus it a nice handle to pull up on. Should have left that hammer handle on and used it for bait! Catch a 50lb er. Eee haw. It's on!
