Im 51,..at 15 years old i worked in construction with my dad all over California around the san joaquin river in fresno and the American river in folsom!..i sat on the banks dreaming of gold detecting back then!..im in arizona and recently been detecting around Prescott which has a similar terrain where you guys are!..thank you both for helping this liver transplant survivor live out his childhood dream!🤠⛏️🤘🌵
Have you ever looked closer at quarts , like either from placer or hardrock - that hard good color signs , with metal detector --- to find gold inside after breaking with hammer ?

I used to dredge northern CA , biggest nugget I found was over 3/4 oz by Dutch Flat , then in Downy vile , a friend found a 10 oz right in town / in river panning .
I’m not a video guru but I like the looks of the GoPro. The trees & sky are sharp and large like.

Great tips for larger gold. Why not save your fingers by using a brush and tube to blow the dirt out of the crevices? It is so much fun to spot the gold while still lodged in the bedrock!

Do you think the gold monster would have found those pieces? I typically stick to the bedrock when working pits due to the monster not having the depth a pi has.
