Bobby, she sang your verse! I used to always point that out to people. I'd say that's Bobby Whitlock and they'd ask who's that? I'd say he makes Derek and the Dominos.
I was blessed to be there that afternoon. As Bobby said, this is not a cover ...lol. No kiddin' BTW that's Jeff Plankenhorn on Les Paul.
Absolutely agree. Sure would have enjoyed him playing with Jerry Garcia, David Hildago, Prince. The list goes on. Of course, let's not forget how pleased I am EC finally did right for the 40th anniversary of DD&D & Other Assorted Love Songs. EC restored Bobby writing credits to songs they made together and bought back Bobby's songs he sold. It is never too late doing the right thing. Bobby remains a terrific song writer and musician and now his songs bear his name!

Saw them last night doing a show of them acoustic, keyboard and Coco killing it on sax with just an electric guitarist in a 125 seat venue! WOW! Run don't walk to see them!

Great musicians and really cool down to earth people. I lived in Austin for a while. Great city and the highlight was meeting Bobby and Coco.
Really be nice if Eric would have done a few shows with Bobby again. I know he did 2 sings with Bobby in 2000.
