One of my favorite songs, and it can't be covered without Bobby Whitlock. His voice is what gives it the power and soul. Love his voicing on the acoustic too. Awesome❤
ONE OF MY FAVOURITE ALBUMS OF ALL TIME AND NEXT YEAR MARKS THE 50th ANNIVERSARY! 🎸 A MASTERPIECE OF MODERN MUSIC! 🎸 IN ANOTHER 50yrs PEOPLE WILL STILL BE LISTENING AND LOVING THIS ALBUM!🎸
Derek & The Dominos. How inspiring is this? I must apologise to Bobby. How many years did it take until I realised that the real deal were his songs on the album. Such a great songwriter and artist.
After a few years of recent (2013) listening and wondering, I finally did the research to locate this wonderful supporting voice to the original and rich tune recorded in the Derek and the Dominos album that I've come to love so much throughout the years. Thank you, Bobby Whitlock. You have a especially complimentary voice that God gave you at that peculiar time in Eric's life, to the glory of God.
Sooooooo...not to change the subject, but I'm watching Delaney, Bonnie and friends playing "Coming Home". That riff played on that Rosewood Tele sounds alarmingly like Wah Wah. I'm a guitar player and songwriter that no one will ever know about.....but it sounds like a Harrison nick job. He's so fine....but I'm a really big music fan, it's all fun to talk about. After all, there is no money or suits at my sub terrainian level! My point here is that the great guitar on Any Day sunk deep into my 17 year old brain, and still oozes out in 2022. You guys REALLY rock
This is great. I love that song. Along with Tell The Truth, it was my favorite on the Layla album. I've been listening to Bobby Whitlock's conversations with CoCo and just reveling in all the lore and stories behind such fabulous music. These RUclips music crawls are a delight.
wonderful rendition ! ! ! like Bobby was saying, about the essence, a couple guitars, a pair of harmonious voices, powerful ideas expressed with clarity and joy. this is the real deal. best wishes... and thanx
Always loved Bobby Whitlock...saw him in a small venue back in the early 70's, a college auditorium I believe and he was awesome live! Hope things are going good for him.
I saw them last evening at the Saxon Pub in Austin. They used to play once a week early on Saturday (6pm). Last night was their first show there after a significant hiatus. Very intimate and mesmerizing show. Small venue. If you are a fan or just appreciate great music, put it on your list if you're ever in Austin.
Bobby has never gotten the credit for what he did in Derek & The Dominos. He along with Jim & Carl pushed Eric. I can't think of another Band who only put out one album. And is so revered.
can Anyone tell me the chords of this version they're playing? There are some tabs in the internet, but they just don't sound that good... especially in the chorus... thanks in advance...
Check out the little interview vids he and Coco have been putting out lately. In one he shows the chords to Coco and she is surprised because they aren't the chords they use when playing together. The original has, I believe, a drop D tuning.
Thanks U, tube,a big fan.Whitlock , should have been recognized long ago.Deric and Dominos has to have whitlock to be great.
Thank god this is on video. I really enjoy watching it as much as listening to it.

Superb 🙏
Bobby, CoCo this song shows the peace and love you 2 have. What a grate song makes me happy when I hear li. God Bless
Bravo Bobby & Coco!
It's a shame that I can't re-like this performance over and over every time I that I get to enjoy what it does for my soul.
I agree, I love watching this one over and over!! Thank you Bobby and Coco!!
Wow!Everytime I return toWhitlock and CoCo,I am blown away by their musical sincerity.
After all these years, I think this is my favorite song off Layla and .. it was the last song I listened to before D &D live, my 1st concert.
Bobby, this is my favourite song from the Layla album. Thankyou!
I'm so appreciative of RUclips, for showing me what I missed back in the day and exposing me to great artist like Bobby and CoCo.
Bobby brought much more to DD than he gets credit for.
I saw them live Mr. WHITLOCK truly eclipsed Clapton on stage and I love Clapton
That was and is fantastic. Love Bobby and all his songs. His voice is so perfect and his mix with CoCo is just right. Love it. Thank you for sharing.

DD needs to be in RRHOF Bobby would get the recognition he so deserves.
love this rendition - raw

Damn ! Tour please
So good
Great stuff! Love it!
this really is like derek and the dominos early performances of the album (bournemouth 1970 comes to mind) it´s absolutely fantastic!
thanks
I just love this tune bringing back some old feelin I play this in standard tuning, but I believe it's an open a does anyone know?
Open D according to Bobby
Great!
Bobby has never gotten the credit for what he did in Derek & The Dominos. He along with Jim & Carl pushed Eric.
I can't think of another Band who only put out one album. And is so revered.
His voice was the vibe - that heart break vibe - of that album. It reached right into my 14 year old soul.
Love this …. Wish you’d come back to play in LA area.
Awesome! Pertfect combo.
Watch out Derek doesn’t come and steal you away for a new band.
Back again.
COOL!!!
This is Great! Bobby, tune guitar to G ? thanks for sharing. wow !
Is there ever going to be well since only you and eric are left a domino's reunion i would pay top dollar
How do we get these two to come and play on Hololulu?
anyone know that open tuning? Sounds better than original.
sounds like he is in drop D, not sure bout her
Think is in A
can Anyone tell me the chords of this version they're playing? There are some tabs in the internet, but they just don't sound that good... especially in the chorus... thanks in advance...

Does Bobby still play in Austin on Sunday's? I'd love to visit.
Esta canción se la dedico a mi hermosa Natalia❤️❤️
Axel Velazquez HEEEEY
BORRELO
😡😡😡😡😡😡
DISLIKE A TU COMMENT
Valeria Velazquez emmmm hola??
Awesome tune, awesome voice!! Too bad camera angle blows for both guitars.
This is like crawling through a needle
If you’re just thinking about the drugs they did (most of it after the album), than you’re missing the art.
Never underestimate Bobby Whitlock-Eric Clapton
Sounds like an open tuning
Did Bob write this?
Did Bobby write that?
Pretty sure I saw God at 4:07. Y'all keep yer eyes out.
I hear Jesus Christ Almighty.
Glad to see he's lost some weight. I saw the clip of him with EC playing Bell Bottom Blues on TOTP in 2000, and he didn't look that great.
