That little trailer has a nice stance, perfect for traveling and everything a couple needs. For the most part all most people do is sleep in them, cooking and relaxing is spent outdoors for the most part.
Owned this same model for a few years.
I was fairly happy with it. Liked the dual axles, size and layout.
As for issues, things fall apart, like all these campers seem to. Had issues with hot water on demand unit, tires cupping badly, trim falling off. Had to reinforce the bed platform through the storage cubby. Drove through a snow storm and ended up with snow packed inside interior cabinets because the wheel wells were not sealed properly. Used in cold weather the aluminum framing would transfer cold to the inside and water would condense in these areas. We would have to open all the cupboards every morning to wipe out all the water.
As far as using the space goes; the bed is sideways, so requires climbing over each other to get in and out of bed. The shower is useless if you are tall. The hot water on demand does not lend itself well to trying to conserve water. You're going to have cold showers unless you get a recirculation system. The AC is noisy and right above the bed so never got used at night. If you're taller than 6', you will be hitting your head on the AC unit unless you duck.

Thanks for the review it does seem expensive compared to a small Keystone bullet for the price to have such issues.
So 30 grand for no space and a bunch of problems within no time. I thought Winnebago was a solid name, but everything's changed since then.

We love no slide outs, please do more like this!
It would be very difficult to load that little trailer to capacity unless you pull it with full fresh water and holding tanks. Most trailers this small are single axle with much lower cargo carrying capacity. I have more than enough towing capacity to tow this with my Tacoma. I really like Winnebego quality. No slide in away is an advantage. It’s one less thing to go wrong. Nice trailer!
My wife and I have a 1706 no slides, 2013 bought used in 2016 for $13000. I have made many upgrades including a platform on the back to haul my Duke 390 motorcycle, bicycle rack installed behind the front hitch for 2 ebikes, an additional 33 gallon black tank installed in the front hold for ballast or additional black and/or grey storage from the rear tanks via a 3/4 inch pvc line with a masticator pump, new 6 gallon water heater, bigger solid dining table solid (no screen) window, a platform under the bike rack up front that holds four deep cell batteries, new water pump, wired for a 100 watt solar panel when we need it among other improvements. This is a fantastic trailer, last trip we got back from a month ago was a 6 week trip to Arizona and had a fantastic time in this, you just don't need anymore. I do like the upgrades in this trailer you review, like the larger fridge, separate shower controls, the convectional oven and the larger propane tanks.

Wow.... owning a large Montana 5th wheel that we love for extended stays, but after this review, It's made me rethink very small RV's. I really like the idea of a mini RV unit like this for quick weekend trips to remote State and Federal camping areas that the big 5th wheel is just not practical for. Thanks for showing this Mini.

We have a 2018 of the same model. It is our go anywhere trailer due to the size, and second to our 34’ Jayco 5th wheel. I really like the upgrades they’ve given it. Overall the same setup. Just “nicer” especially in the bathroom. Ours has the shower coming off the bathroom sink water, very glad to see a separate water control for that tiny shower! For one or two, it’s a good size for a very tiny house on wheels. We got ours specifically for the safety of the dual axles on a small trailer.
I am looking at the Micro Minnie myself. My research tells me that they are top 2 for quality. I have also learned the prices are all over the place for new and used and it pays to compare.
Very nice and I like the way it’s built with quality tires and suspension with dual axles when it’s probably not needed. Two 30 pounders of LP on a small unit is amazing. Kudos to Winnebago for building a small camper with big camper features!
Don't know if you're familiar with Traveling Robert, but when he became a Winnebago affiliate they lent him this trailer and he drove it all over last year while vlogging, before that he had the previous model , the 1706FB for 5 years which he nicknamed Mini Tinnie, check out his channel, he's one of the best.

Looks like it would be a perfect weekend camper, or good back country camper, or perfect quick evacuation camper (keep it loaded up).
I think a large wet bath would make a more functional bathroom. I’m amazed at how many large things they fit in a SMALL trailer.

I have this model from 2017. It’s solid and lasting well. Mine has an oven though. It was my first, it won’t be my last. This is a Great well built starter towable RV. It’s also very easily customizable on the inside. The shower is extremely tight and the curtain will stick to ya 😅. I love my Minnie.
I like this little guy. It is a perfect weekend-camper for a couple. The kitchen is very nice. If I could make one change to the kitchen I would rather have a full-size convection microwave or a propane oven. The storage in and out is great. Gold star, Winnebago. Thanks for another great video.

Agreed! Massive markup on these things but that will quickly change with gas prices. Aint nobody gonna want to drag a camp trailer around getting single digit fuel consumption all while paying for their 30K trailer.
Damn, I'd think for just bout 1/2 this price a good used camper could be bought which is much bigger. 30 grand deletes it's appeal as a compact economical camper.

Wow this is really nice price is high. Has allot to offer dry bath, large sink, huge fridge and dinette in that small of a camper.
We have a micro minnie 2100bh and I love it, it was worth the extra money we spent on it. Double axles on a small trailer tows like a dream, fully loaded it weighs around 4k lbs with a max cargo capacity of 7k lbs. They do a great job of using high quality materials while keeping the weight down and the weight is very well balanced. Plus it being only 7ft wide really helps us tow it with the SUV.
Are you getting condensation buildup because of burning propane? Maybe try out some solar panels, an inverter, solar charge controller and lithium iron phosphate batteries.
We bought this unit in September. Paid 26K. Our model did not have the Goodyear tires, but exactly the same otherwise. We are winterized and under cover right now, but looking forward to getting back out. We are volunteers for a disaster ministry and its great to be able to take your lodging with you when you go to distressed areas. Previously owned a Winnebago Brave and we enjoy the build quality of this unit so far. It came with one solar panel and the controller.
I used to pick these campers up from Middlebury Indiana and bring them back to timberlake RV in Lynchburg Virginia. I must say one of the best made Hi highest quality small campers that I have seen. Especially for the money. They're not cheap but they're made to last. I have so much respect for them. Love your videos keep up the good work.

WOW! That is incredible! My wife and I COULD be fine in that thing … until we were stuck inside on a 2 or 3 day rain. THEN we’d start regretting the decision to go that small immediately! But for weekends…awesome.
I bet that trailer would be a blast camping at the lake or at the beach.

I love it, First its has more room then a van conversion, Plus its done "RIGHT" Not some half done Mess. You easily could hang a matching curtain to cover that window all very cheaply. On a 4x4 half ton you could take off road, light snow, ect....Easy parking , and if needed drop trailer and take half ton truck. Personally I think this is way better then a cargo / van conversion. If your half ton had a nice topper on it you could fill it with cargo...I know weight limit... Not to mention!!! BATHROOM!!! WITH A TOILET not a 5gal bucket and a Shower and not a crazy wet bath.. 30,000 to 35,000 Is a great price!!!

Working for the gas wells this would be perfect to take traveling and the nice thing is the fact that it has 2 axle instead of 1 so it isn't back there bouncing around
I really like this little RV. Lots of storage. Bathroom. Bedroom you can hide with a curtain. Nice size fridge, sink and burners. Plus the convection microwave. Outdoor storage. Plus a bathroom. Nice cargo weight capacity. When you compare to that 3 bedroom 5th wheel you did recently.
Tandem axel on small trailer with torsion axels, that’s a few added layers of safety and towing stability. A bit of solar would be a nice touch.

The double axle design of this trailer is great!
We built a canvas HAMMOCK ABOVE THE BED. Made with 2 rods it could be taken down to wash. It had 3 sets of holders. 2 at the back/ (front of the unit) to stow.
1 at the front/ bed entrance, So you’d pluck the rod closest to you & pulled it across to the empty holders at your end. It was great. We loved it as kids. Not hard on the back.
This is an awesome little trailer! Great price too! We have been looking a while, but I think this will be my choice. It has so much for smaller (I really wanted the smaller). Thank you for posting this little gem!
I have to admit. For a small trailer, this is a solid unit. The united small enough that it borders on single axle territory. However, it has dual axles. The interior is small, as expected but the furnishings (sink, stove, refrigerator, etc.) are large for the size of the RV. The only real issue that I see is with the cross cabin orientation of the bed. That can be a problem for taller people. All in all, a solid unit.

You have exactly what you need. Agree with shades!! Changes I would like are: 1. jack knife sofa would be way better than a bed, multi use. 2. Who puts backsplash on one side of a stove? Someone who does not cook, the refrigerator side needs it too. 3. Rather large shower than sink in bath, but hey not a wet bath!!
If they had a welded I-beam style frame like most mainstream RVs, instead of the weaker C-channel huck bolt style frame, I’d probably buy one. I’ve seen the huck bolt frames crack on these Minnie Winnies.

I've been looking at 15-16ft trailers so calling this "tiny" is funny to me. This is actually on the larger side for my towing and storage limitations. Everything is relative.

This is the unit we bought last year … except ours does have one slide out where the kitchenette table is at . It’s plenty of room for 2 adults and our 2 dogs
This is perfect for one person! What a nice trailer! The price isn't bad considering the size of the 12volt frig and freezer unit, the included entertainment center and everything else.

8 years FT with NASH 17K. Made in Oregon by Northwood Mfg [Artic Fox]. Few small issues but overall fits just what I want to do. ONAN propane generator, dual-pane windows, solar set up... Love it.
That is a nice little RV trailer! Does the bed lift up to access the under the bed storage? It's got got almost everything you need in a resonable price too! It's almost perfect!

Nice unit. I have a Jayco feather lite bunk house 17x 6 foot. This mini seams so much smaller, I have bunk beds next to the full bath at rear end with queen bed up front. Still this is a nice mini trailer.

Nice walkthrough. My wife and I were just talking about the 17-20' range travel trailers. While I think they did a great job maximizing features on that size, that's just waaaaay to much for something that size.

This makes me appreciate my Basecamp. Of course the Basecamp is more expensive however the aesthetic of this unit seems a bit dated out of the box. Nice sink and storage space is amazing for this size. I think the fridge is much larger than needed. It seems to be almost 2000 lbs heavier than mine at full capacity
How well will it last with wood framing instead of aluminum weld framing? The tires are a huge upgrade.
I really like it. Seems a little high on price. But the cheaper ones don’t look to be as well built. But there is no solar on top.
I’d buy one of these before framing out a studio apartment in my shop.
This is perfect for a 2 person weekender. Dual axles, no slides, and towable with an F150 (V8 or EcoBoost). Has all the right options. What's not to like?

As a European POV this caravan its not very good could do much better and do better usage of the small space they have it by having a foldable fiber composite sink on the bathroom and the toilet underneth, fridge is way too big for a caravan of this size wich is ment for weekeds trips for 2 persons, no idea why it has two axels in such compact format just more weight i would rather have the kitchen in the front making use of that lower ceeling and teh bedroom on the back where it wider and more hight, move the door to the front near the kitchen wich would help ventilate if you decided to cook inside of it also giving more room for a bigger bedroom/Dinningroom. But its just my opinion Happy trailing
I haul travel trailers for a living. I prefer the smaller units. These winnebago's are IMHO the 3rd best made trailers in the industry. Airstream, Grand Desiegn are the two ahead of them for quality.
