You guys knocked this video out of the park! I head up all the video work at Storyteller and it’s always awesome to see people making content about our trucks!! Great video!
It's cool to finally see these getting mass produced. I prefer the 6x6 FMTV builds and considering looking to pick one up used as a upgraded RV to live in. I thought about building my own but at last I don't have money, time nor the space available.
The PACCAR PX-7 is essentially a rebranded version of the Cummins ISB 6.7-liter engine. Both engines share the same core architecture, components, and design features.
Very nice rv truck, but let me criticise two things in layout. In a such big rv the shower should be separated. And second, the bedroom must have a door to preserve warm air in winter. Above that it’s a stunning house on wheels. What about the price?
@@Maxxxi2268 the climate system in the truck is good enough that you can have completely separate temperatures in three different areas of the living quarters!! I lived in the truck for 14 days and we went in a mix of freezing and 100° environments.
As soon as he said it lacks power at highway speed I was out!. I own a new Chevy 2500HD Crew cab (gas) running 35” tires and an Arctic Fox 811 slide out camper. My camper has everything from generator to ability to sleep 5 with wet bath. Truck and camper weighs 12633 lbs and I have run 80 mph all day headed to the keys.
The number of buyers is very likely aligned with their ability to build a few hundred of these a year. If you want a $35,000 RV made of 2x2's knock yourself out. We on the other hand will be flying to Birmingham.
@Lex-Rex I am not sure this would appreciate. It may, but I think that to be more unlikely than likely. Unless you're talking land/house. Then more likely than not.
This thing is cool for what it is, no doubt about it. Thanks for sharing! I must ask, who was more uncomfortable when he opened the baggage door to reveal the INTERSTATE BATTERY? I could hear it in both your voices. Is Led Acid really a standard feature?
@rd4660 for the western us most likely but gxv stands for global expedition vehicle. ive seen pictures of these all over the world, hundreds of miles away from any kind of civilization. definitely no pavement princess here.

finally something different than the usual "amazing new floor plan"
Hands down, best handle bars on the internet.
All he needs to finish the ensemble is a flannel and a PBR Tallboy.

I love these vehicles!! This is beautiful!! I’d take this over a fancy class A any day!😊
Not to mention the mustache of the builder adds 20hp each💪
wart hog style mustache is so fn cool
I think the hipster I mean, your tour guide might have a little bit of a buzz😂
Cool i like it
What a beast! Love it!
Captain Morgan, let’s just like his mustache on the rum bottle
Your videos are always so heartfelt and fun at the same time! Thank you for your ability to bring joy and smiles into our lives!💶🐇🎆
Capp was great! Awesome rig!

I want one. That’s a bug out vehicle 😆
Yacht style appointments well beyond the fridge, a shame more builders arent taking this approach.
Yacht prices and sensibility. Most RV are like houseboats, fancy inside but never far from help or too far off the beaten path.
@@Adiscretefirm some things like the locking drawer latches don't draw a significant cost difference.
@@Stylefront I think that's the yacht sensibility. Houseboat RV would put that money into tile and granite and looks.
I love ❤️ that FORD earthroamer🌍 😊
Amazing vehicle ❤
What ran under the frame rail in the back on the right side? Looked like an electrical line or air line.
I like it!
Great vid! Stellar rig! Couldn't really take captain morgan and the mustache seriously tho.
the GXV Epic could seriously do with a 4-Dr Crew Cab variant . . .
I’m confused about the engine option. Their website states it’s powered by a Cummins while Kenworth only makes the K270 and 370 with a Paccar 6.7L.

If you're buying one of these, you want one from Europe where they been building them for a long time
Needs a nose on it. Cab overs don't ride as smoothly,
I see room for improvement, but this is really a fine start.
Loved it! Built like a brick $hit house. Wish I could afford one.
Love it - dont see a tow hitch -
Wow😊
Please let HIM talk. You are taking right over him.
Wow thats like military grade
Nope. Wayyyyyy beyond military grade!

I think the tires they have to use to keep a decent load rating when they go to single rears are limited to 65 mph anyway.
$700k for this. Delusional.

Looks like the European Unimog
Bit overkill for Wales but im sold
I laughed when that guy said ram engine 😂 wouldn’t be a ram if not for Cummins
He needs to charge so much to pay for the wax for that mustache. So worth it...
Nice video, but at $445000 to start, I’ll pass and buy another house
@@Hunterlewis675 you're not driving your house around the world but I guess you can watch some National Geographic videos from your living room.
Woah, wait. Where can you get a house for $445,000? That's not even a starter home where Iive! That's like the price of the land...without a house...

I think that was the start battery for the Onan generator.
thats just the starter battery for the generator
42” tires!
Wow, that's completely out of an average person's price range by hundreds of thousands of dollars
True, but so are many luxury items
I would never be able to afford one,but a really nice unit.
Finally, Something 4 people a year can buy 😂🤣🤣
DIS CAPTAN MORGEN ITS LOOK LIKE HE HAVE 2 ANTENAS ON MUSTAS , ITS T MOBILE OR STARLINK , MORGEN CAPITANE AINSTANES:))
Captain Morgan does not seem to know much about the vehicle.
Behemoth is right. Too heavy and too tall to go very far off-road in the western US. It's more of a pavement queen than an overlander.

Actually in some areas much less than a house and in some areas 3x as much as a house....
Terrible departure angle and very little clearance. You ain't "overlanding" in this.
another toy for millionaires
