I live in a semi truck. Trust me that camper has PLENTY of room for me
Wife would like bath with seperate tub toilet.
Yes sir!!! Had a 36" coffin for the longest...when I got a 72" I felt Like I moved into a castle!!!
I live in a chevy silverado. A semi truck would be awesome for me.
Buy one and attach it to your truck bud
"This isn't good for someone who would want to live in it"
Me: hahaha thats exactly why im watching this video.
SAME
Facts lol
I think I could live in it with no problem. 😊
I love this little trailer and would feel comfortable towing it, not to mention living in. I even saw a great spot for my cats potty lol
Same!!! Lololol
I have a KZ Sportsman of this exact floor plan, paid $7100 brand new and lived in it for 18 months. Saved a ton of cash on not having to pay rent. Set it up on a buddies farm to watch (guard) livestock. I wont hesitate to live in it again, good times!
dwarden3 The bed looks more comfortable in the model you’re talking about.. I’d get rid of the couch, since my girlfriend and I would never use it. But that’s definitely a good option for when we start looking for something to travel in.
and when you're done you can still sell it for a few gs at least. rent is such a ripoff
sounds like broke back mountain
Does it retail for $7,100? Cause I can’t find any that cost that much. Where did you find one that much?
Yeah where did you buy it for that price? i wan't a web site.
That bench makes it really easy to leave the dinette as a bed full time. You could use one or two small TV dinner trays to substitute for a dinner table. Once you’re done eating fold them and slide them underneath the bed out of the way.
bflo716 n
Or just eat outside if the weather allows. I like to be outdoors most of the time when I camp so that could stay a bed
It needs a Murphy bed with a multipositional table with the bench seat being a two seat table. Then have a fold down flat screen Tv from the roof. Lot's of dude's would love a man cave but lack the money and area to have one. Those little changes and keeping it all under ten grand? I would buy one to park in my back yard or an enclosed area to have my own little man cave. 😊
Yeah
I was thinking along those lines, too. Get that camper cheap enough, then DIY a Murphy bed mod.
“You couldn’t live in this”
Van life people: are you kidding me? This is to much
I'll just go ahead and like.
Agreed
Van life people “look at all this room for activities.”
Homeless dude who lives in a cardboard box: “WOW, that’s a huge house!”
So true😂🤣😂🤣
Skip first 1:40, unless you like commercials
MVP
You wanna pay for the video? Then chill.
Thanks
+Jody's Journey i imagine the budget must have cost dozens of quarters.
Not all heros wear capes ..... ❤❤
For less than 10K you're getting something brand-new, that most importantly.........
has a bathroom !!!!
It's used. not brand new
@@williamoftexas1489 It's also out-of-production. But even used, $10K isn't bad.
Not bad. There are lots of advantages to a camper that size. Super low maintenance and would be towable with just about anything. Would be a nice camper to easily take cross country.
Average Joe easy to drive and park and fits about anywhere and doesn't take like parking lots and doesn't cover the hole view to your house when it's park ouside
I bet the AC/Heat has no problem keeping the trailer comfortable as well.
@@jamesmiller7911 except for climates like southern Arizona.
The reviewer is focusing on pickup trucks as tow vehicles, but that size/weight of trailer is also well within the range of SUVs with V-6 engines and 5-6,000 pounds of towing rating such as the Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, Kia Sorento and Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, Toyota Highlander, and the Ford Explorer. It's marginal for those tow rated for 3,500 pounds such as the Toyota Highlander Hybrid and Ford Edge and sibling Lincoln MKX/Nautilus.
Could I tow this with my ‘14 Honda CRV?
When people say "to be honest with you " a lot I just assume they aren't being honest.
Or that theyre usually lying
At the least, they are implying that sometimes they are NOT honest.
Wtf ..live in it for a month..Lol
Yep.
Attsa fact.. But what's even worse is folks that constantly say "trust me". Puts me totally on guard..!
Dude i live mostly on my bed watching youtube when im not working. I can live ANYWHERE!
I’ve always wanted something small as this for my wife and I, every year the lifestyle is calling me!!! It’s the right price point just in case it’s not for HER, easily maintained and turned over for resale if need be.
Great video Thanks
I could live in something this small, the only thing is that i would have to modify it a little bit to fit a desk as well as a comfortable place to sleep
Weezer 6.u?
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Has a fan of the 13ft scamp. This one has a great layout i really like. Yes i could live in this full time.
For that price I'm moving in.
This is perfect for camping especially with the awning. If you are spending your time in the trailer when it is nice out, you aren't camping correctly lol.
Thanks for sharing! This is exactly what I've been looking for. Something for me and my 2 little dogs and occationally 2 little grandkids. Something I can take to the beach or just on short weekend trips close to home. Plus I won't have to have a super huge vehicle to pull it with. Thank you again for this video!
Lord i wish i could afford this i would park this in the campground and love in it
The hubs & I are huge race fans & this size unit would be great for us! We want to camp at the tracks for 1-2 nights & we aren’t forced to use our 2500 diesel. Some tracks have VERY tiny sites also. Another plus! 🤗
Cool little trailer for a couple or an individual. At less than $10K, its a step up from a tent or even tent trailer...
$10 K ? Are you mad? You want to overprice that to help your partner !
This floorplan is great. A dry bath in this is astounding.
Wow I want this to travel with during the summer. I could totally take off with my kids and travel the coast.
My 2017 chevy traverse w/towing package would pull this and still have room to play with as well. Super light
I did not expect the bathroom to have a "real" shower separate from the toilet. That's great for a smaller RV.
I would get that for my kid to move him out of the house
LMAO....
Before it turns into a dateline episode ha ha 😀
LMAO 😂 funny!
I think I'd like that myself :D
lol
THE TUB!! this is perfect for famalies with young kids that don’t shower!
We have a 2013 Viking by Forest River very similar to this. Tow it with a Ford Sport Trac. Been over all the steepest highways in BC with no problems at all. Perfect size for two people who love to be outside as much as possible. Warm and dry when the weather gets wet and chilly. On Vancouver Island we use it from March until November. Love it!
I had a Fun Finder T139 which was very similar to this unit and my wife and I loved it. We had a wet bath which was tight. This bathroom is much more spacious. They feel much larger inside than they look from the outside. Supposedly these units are popular with hunters.
if I could afford that I'd easily live in it! just wish it had a small washer, but one of those bucket washers would do.
Coachmen models under Viking / Clipper names have similar floor plans and dry weights. Plus our experience with the manufacture Coachmen has been very good and responsive. Thanks for the video
thomas dipaolo took me a year to get a bathtub for my 1997 Coachmen Catalina Lite. Their parts dept was both retarded AND arrogant.
If anyone's looking for a really reasonably priced and decently spacious light trailer to pull with a midsize SUV check out the keystone hideout 177lhs. I got one a year ago today and it's been fantastic. Full queen bed up front and dinette at the rear, lots of windows, full bathroom, indoor/outdoor stereo, tons of storage etc. 3000lbs dry.
HCFX how much?
@@brandon071194 $16,333.00
@@johnnyofast5924 whoa
Tank(s) ? Constant dumping if off grid?
One person could live in it. Very nice unit. 👍
awesome little RV, Perfect for the hunting trip with the boy's
This is what i needed when i was tired of driving and pulling in to a rest area after baltimore traffic.
I can pull into your DM's if you know what i mean ;]
The classic small camper layout, it can not be beaten
this is perfect for my Ranger unfortunately I think they've stopped making these new so I would have to start hunting for one used or left over new on the lot.
Jayco makes these I noticed. Same floor plan in 2020
Starcraft and Jayco are the same company now. They have basically the same Floorplan in the Jayco line.
Very cool. Needs a tv and a booming system. It's bigger than a new York apartment..... U could totally live in there.
Wow I cant believe how much bigger it is inside then outside!
This is spectacular. I love it.
Thanks for the great discount on the Kove bluetooth speaker! Ordered one today using your link.
Thank you!
Great little trailer! A young couple with or without small children or 1-2 adults could find this a great camper. Easy to tow etc. Would be a great starter trailer! That’s the great thing about RVs, there is one for everyone.
Joseph Cirelli , all you would need is a screen room tent to set up right under the roll out cover
awning.
My mom & dad pulled a 19 ft Nash trailer with their 1996 GMC Sonoma with the 4.3 L V-6 with no problems. They did add a brake assist on it. Growing up, my parents had a 13 ft ECCO trailer (a.k.a a Boler or Scamp). We had so much fun it! Additionally, I pull a 16 ft Starcraft Supersport aluminum boat on a 20 ft trailer with my 2003 Chevy S-10 with the 4.3 L V-6 with no absolutely no problems. The keys to these are 1) GVWR capacity, and 2) the towing capacity of the towing vehicle .
I have a 2017 Gulfstream Trailmaster 16BHC that is the same weight but a little bigger. We love it! Tow with a 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0L all the way from Cali to Miami - no problem.
A trailer like this could be easily built for half the price they are asking for this trailer. Don't get me wrong I really appreciate the time you took to make this video and show the layout. The thing is that when you really inspect these trailers, they are built with very cheap materials. Take care
Exactly. The build quality on a lot of these trailers are piss poor. You may not notice it until you buy it.
Cute.Great first camper!
Love to have that for a Disaster Relief Trailer...trade my 1965 Trotwood command trailer for it! Lol! The front windows are a plus! The awning electrical is really cool!!👍👍
Finally a smaller trailer, not all of us can have a big trailer, nice vid.
It not being a wet bath has me sold,i will be keeping an eye out for one on the cheap
Finally a camper I can pull with my lawn mower lol, that's pretty impressive for its size definitely could see this being used as a hunting/fishing trip camper for use on a long weekend plenty of space for your rifle(s) or fishing rods and tackle with enough space for all your clothing, boots etc. just have to put a rack on the back for a boat if you are gonna use it for fishing
This is perfect for a single person or a couple with no kids for a long weekend or a nice little travel trip. The price isn’t bad for what it offers with nice little perks like the electric awning, small tub with the stand up shower and the bed that converts to a dining area.
I love this one. Great floor plan for two
Our family enjoys your videos. Thank you for your hard work! ???? We have used some of your tips in our own adventures!
Perfect rig for young couples wanting to “learn” the art of camping. And they could easily adapt it to use on whatever type of camping they want to do. And small generator and they’re off grid! Excellent “first” camper. Ours was a pop-up…this thing is a step above where we began.
This thing has a bigger kitchen than most campers twice that size!
i have looked at many this size, and out of all of them this one has the best bathroom, i would buy it.
Put a container of sanitizing wipes for the hands or a container of hand sanitizer and a roll of paper towels
I was thinking the same thing!
AMAZING. HAS IT ALL..WOW what a cutie
That would be a great first unit. Gives you a chance to see if you like the rv life and see what you want/don’t want in your next unit for a small price tag
Yeah thats going behind my ram 😆😆😆
That would be perfect for long hunting trips
I gotta family of 3. This is perfect for at least campground camping
Looks like a nice little unit for a single person or young couple.
Your the first RUclipsr I see that's in corpus, sweet
I bought a 2017 14RB AR one. This is a great camper trust me. I love mine
Barb, we bought the 2016 version, couldn't agree more : )
@@DD-wn9uy I tow with a 2019 Ford Ranger.
We just bought a 16 foot since there is only three of us, and it’s perfect
That’s is a cute little trailer and with the axles being less than the trailer, when u level your jacks that takes most the weight off the trailer but nice little short vid I love the power onning
That is just neat looking. I like it.
just bought the kove = right on
I love this little trailer
Good video very nice little camper
Of course someone could live in it! It's bigger than many cargo trailer conversions people are moving into.
I've been looking at campers and have a V6 Nissan frontier. This or something similar would be perfect.
We have a 2016 AR-1 Extreme rb15.
It's basically the same thing except it has the axel flipped to get more ground clearance. And ours has the hybrid queen bed that folds down out the back.
It also has a side mount A/c unit because of the difference in overall height.
We have towed it with our 4door Wranglers with zero issues.
Ours has a sealed belly and we have spent a week at a time hunting in November in Idaho in some pretty cold weather.
We absolutely love the separate shower it's not easy to find in small trailers.
I was not going to stand over the toilet to shower!! Lol
We set it up with 2 6volt batteries and a single 10gal Lp tank and even in the cold weather no problems at all spending a week in the mountains.
10K, I like it. Perfect for zen, slow camping, or minimal living. I like the table option in the back. Would make a cool office/work space. Only thing =this can't be super tight at this price.
This would be perfect for taking to a hunting camp or lease.
Anyone looking at these small, traditional "Stick Built" trailers, should really check out the newly released "Wolf Pup 16PF". Only a few dealers in the country have received one yet, and doubt many will keep them in-stock for long, the floorplan is fantastic for such a small trailer. Around 6-800 pounds heavier than the one in this video, but I don't think you would want to tow either one with a 3500lb tow rated vehicle, which moves you up to 5000lb tow rated vehicles anyway.
I’m liking this one. Been looking for something about this size. Just me the wife and dog.
Dry bath, very nice.
One perk to that tt for me is that it will fit in my garage...along with the jeep....does it come with electric brakes on the axle? I didnt catch if you said it did or not.
yes sir, this one had electric drum brakes
Love these little campers there just Cute
I Don't think I would call this a "coach" more like a deer hunting cabin for one.
@Dill Rogerz
My home has that too, but it's not a coach...
That's good for a couple on a two week vacation. That would surely beat spending $100+ per night on motels!
TheHondaman , two, possibly three people actually. but cute and fills a certain nitch.
@Dill Rogerz no it's not
I would totally live full time in this
One word for fiberglass or gel coat sides... Delamination. Once that occurs you're screwed.
How often does that happen?
Perfect little camper. Wood frame trailers are super easy to fix ,basic carpentry skills if someone bangs into it. Fiberglass units and you need a fancy body shop, great insurance , Lots of time in the shop, basically a small whack and it’s almost totaled . We were going to buy an R-Pod but twice the price and twice the liability if it gets hit, This Starcraft is perfect. Plus pay cash and no loans no long term payments . Starcraft is also a very good name in campers.
thats a very nice small camper, id like to see how it holds up in winter camping, and with a few aftermarket changes it would be down right livable full time. solar, and a better fridge/freezer would be my first upgrades, i might look into one of these now
Very cool unit with a useful review. Thanx. 👍😎
got one - i love it
Ok I’m impressed with the interior 😎
I like the floor plan for the bathroom and closet. Been digging around for something old that's about this size with a similar setup. Going to demolish some of the counter and install a wood stove, fatter tall tires and tow it with me AMC Jeep for deep woods adventures
Looks pretty good for what it is
I have a similar 'no sink' bathroom in my 17 footer. My solution was to create a tee connection between the shower hose and the shower valve, and use a push button shutoff (and small extension) as the faucet - with the shower head valve off and shutoff on, you have a faucet, and vice-versa for using the shower. No leaving the bathroom to wash your hands, and it cost about 8 dollars in parts.
Big in the right places.
Cool. I"d love to have this thing!
Dude that's amazing!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Kz Sportsman here I come thank you
Great review! Thank u.
I think for a budget trailer in that size it is good. If it where me a Camplite or Airstream Basecamp is better for those seeking luxury. It seems to be a growing trend now days small but luxury.
This is pretty nice!
I like this trailer as a starter.
Thanks for the information
