    I like the camper, only two things I don't like. No utensil draw and not shower surround. Does not have to be fancy just need something that wont get moldy easy.

    • @outdoorrvspecialist
      @outdoorrvspecialist  Год назад +3

      Swamp Rat, Hi! Thank you for commenting and watching:) The shower board is water resistant and we haven’t had any problems with it but we would prefer the surround for customer confidence. You are not the first customer to voice this concern. I think they did this to keep the weight lower but can’t swear to it. It would be under warranty for 2 camping seasons so that would be plenty of time to determine if it would become an issue. The next size up is a 174BH, I will see if it has a utensil drawer:) Peggy@ Smith RV

    I own this exact model/year. Perfect for solo camping. Used exclusively by myself for dirbike trips. If wife went with, I would buy a bigger one. The BAJA has a 30 gallon fresh tank so more than enough for a long weekend. Love my little trailer. With that, those wanting to tow with a unibody small SUV are nuts. I feel it with my beast Tundra.

    In your opinion, how hard do you think it would be to move this trailer solo with a manual hand dolly on level asphalt? I am a 30 year old male and decently fit. I am asking because I have a tight alley parking space where I would need to detach from my truck to park it.
    Also, this is the best review of this model that I have seen. Thank you!

    Does the Baja edition change in weight and hitch weight? I would like this if it doesn't. I own a 2012 honda pilot, and my max tow is 4500, and the hitch weight is max at 450. I understand I don't want to max it out to those numbers

    • @outdoorrvspecialist
      @outdoorrvspecialist  Год назад +1

      Hi Steven, the dry weight is 2832 and the loaded weight is 3540 for this 154BH. The 30lb propane tank would slightly increase hitch weight over the 20lb tank but not enough to exceed your hitch weight. If you wanted a 20 instead we could certainly swap that. Please reach out if you have additional questions or would like to purchase the 154BH:) Peggy @ Smith RV 3072345617

    • @outdoorrvspecialist

      Hi Z-man, it is 75inches to the bottom of the knobs on the AC. Jayco made the roof top AC standard, so no side mount available unfortunately. You would be ok with the AC itself but not the knobs it looks like. Thank you for watching and commenting! Peggy@ Smith RV

    IF ONLY this had - 1.) 1 Piece solid Shower Walls and Tub insert to prevent molding and rot, etc... 2.) Get rid of the Microwave, more cabinet storage space. 3.) Put in an Oven with Stove Top. 4.) OPTIONAL and would be nice, if they also start offer side insert A/C Units instead of the Roof Mount Unit. This way, when the A/C dies, easier for the customer to replace by removing and inserting a new one purchased locally. Also, less holes in the roof means less leak entries... and lastly, 5.) Replace the Plastic Toilet with a Porcelain Toilet... surprisingly, the Porcelain Toilets are less costly than the Plastic Toilets...
    I like the concept, just a few minor changes to bring up to the same level of Other Quality RV Trailers would be nice.
