Ive been collecting fragrances since 85 (Green Irish Tweed was my first purchase. IT BLOWS MY MIND, no one has made a video on "Herrera" for Men by CH. Released in 90. I have a ton of niche and even this Reformulated Herrera you can buy now for 40 is my number 1 fragrance/compliment getter. NO ONE WEARS IT. Every guy smells like every guy, I never even tell guys what im wearing, I lie about my fragrance. Do yourself a favor, buy Herrera, you can get a tester for 45 bucks! great video btw
@fallensummit I dont like to wear colognes that are popular cause you smell like every guy. I would put on Herrera and when people asked what it was I intentionally lied.. This happened alot with Herrera in 96, everyone was wearing aqua di qio, i bought up and i wanted to stand out so this was my go to. its incredible! performance 5-6 hours! let me know how it goes!
I just came across this video randomly and directly wanted to see the comment section about this fragrance and saw yours. We share the same passion in collecting fragrances. I only do designer fragrances, but I don't only explore mainstream releases, rather I like to explore and try out fragrances released by a designerhouse even going back to their 1960's releases if available. Like @fallensummit also said, I'm a sucker in particular for 90's and 2000's releases. The Herrera for men you mentioned is what I would recall as a 90's masterpiece. A true gem and a godfather predecessor to the likes of vintage Versace Dreamer, Dolce & Gabanna Pour Homme and many others who have taken it's DNA as a inspiration back in the day. Recently I had aqcuired a 2012 formulation of it and the moment I sprayed it in the air I was blown away. The combo of warm spices, florals and that tobacco note is simply ingeniously crafted. It depicts in my vision a wealthy confident man, oozing testosterone but being very well groomed. Glad to see someone mentioned that one.

I remember I would wear a fragrance and if another man or woman asked me what I was wearing, I would intentionally lie unless it was a mainstream cologne they might of smelled before. I would always lie about my fragrance cause I didn't want other men to wear it. I have the original Sauvage bottle, I bought it in 2015 when it came out, its 98% full. I wore it once and I knew that EVERYONE was going to be wearing it just like Aqua Di Gio was worn by every guy from 96-99. So I would only tell me best friends what I was wearing. A perfect example of lying about a cologne was "sanders by jil sanders" EVERYONE asked me about that cologne during my club days and I lied and said it was tommy hilfiger! I dont want to meet a woman in a club and the fragrance I am wearing reminds her of an ex boyfriend. The Creed colognes I wear arent aventus. Check out Coach Green EDT, it came out last week, its a green/citrus scent that is incredible however i dont see it being sold like dior sauvage. i dont even know if there are any video reviews on coach green edt but ts out in america and i love it!
Hello Harley, good video. Personally dislike the Y EDP actually ! Might have to get my nose on this ! Completely unrelated comment but ; i know you’ve tried dior homme 2020. Have you tried dior homme sport 2021? DH2020 has become my signature ever since I found it. It’s such a good release IMO. And I wanted to know if you had put your nose on them; how do they compare / contrast to bois imperial from Essential parfums?? Cheers !
I sure have, the sport is much more spicy and citrus orientated. It’s a very nice fragrance that is sort of in the realm of Creed Viking Cologne, but better in my opinion! Boise Imperial is a different fragrance from both DH2020 and DH Sport21, it’s much more niche and intense in a odd way. Very hard to describe, so it’ll need to be sampled.

No apple note no no no no for me wil stick with ysl y edp and le parfum all the way.
