I was at the mall a week ago here in Chile, went to the fragrances department and try out all the Y line, and the one that catched my attention was this the Intense version... because the rest of the line for me it was good but nothing new for my nose, this is more interesting more mysterious and different for the rest, and I can get an iris note even is not declared on the official notes on this fragrance. So, for my personal taste it's a good one, if you have the chance try it, and on me it has a good performance 8 hours easily, and the projection the first 2 hours the fragrance is clearly noticeable, then it goes moderate but it still there.

British leather is heavy and nicely done❤

So which one is your most favorite? I'm jiggling in between Arabian Dessert and Egyptian smoke....

Not unisex - VERY MASCULINE - not even close to Fahrenheit folks - come on. But it's strong, woody, masculine and unique. A++

Try Fig Infusion on a hot day using 5-8 sprays and it will a blast. It is airy, smooth and leafy.

Purpose is jamming good. I have a decant of it. I actually got 3 compliments on it yesterday which shocked me since its far from being a mainstream compliment getter. One from my Uber driver and 2 from women. I rarely get more than 1 or 2 compliments from wearing any scent..They all said its very exotic and rich smelling. It obviously goes great with my skin chemistry. This stuff means business and its powerful and rich! Not for for the faint of heart and more for older guys .

I have all these along with Amalfi citrus and am expecting Mongolian Cashmere in the mail. All of these are intoxicating, exotic Eastern fragrances that are very well done. The Amalfi citrus is different but a wonderful, fresh summer scent.

a lot of those samples be watered down believe it or not. I've sampled some things and performance was weak but buying the full bottle had a totally different experience.

Mid notes has a lot of florals like rose and it pushes for a long time before the dry down. Overall rave now is worth it!

I get liquorice, tobacco, rainforest resin, smoke and the ashes of a cremated corpse.

Great reviews , love them both , think silver oud is one of the best ouds I’ve smelt , I have pure ouds but I think I’d prefer this as the perfumer has smoothed out and rounded any rough edges you can get whilst accentuating it’s best parts . Amazing stuff

Signature Leather Tabac is absolutely incredible to me. I don’t get any hints of Amouage Journey Man from it. Leather Tabac challenges me like Mancera Red Tobacco. All three of these are incredible fragrances. What I love most about all of this is how we all perceive them differently and it leads to some great conversations and comparisons.

Informative review. Pulled the trigger blindly. And yeah, Montale fragrances are dangerous blind-buys for sure. I bought a bunch of Montale samples and for the first time ever in this hobby, I got nauseous and dizzy. I had to lay down until I didn't feel sick. The rest of the day basically any smell would make me feel sick. I only have full bottles of Oud Tobacco and Chocolate Greedy, and that's because a friend had full bottles already and let me smell them first. As good as they smell, even those are one-spray fragrances.

It is essentially Givenchy Gentlemen Only. Do a comparison and check it out. Smells like, exactly the same

The Bois Imperial reminds me exactly Grey Vetiver by tom ford.

Silver oud opening is insane. Smells so good and earthy. I wish the drydown didn't smell so thin and smoky though. Impressive opening.

This really grew on me. I was unsure at first, but I realized how special it was when I revisited it. It’s definitely woody and smoky and a little sweet. This is a good one to try if you’re looking to try a “middle eastern” smelling scent.

So, I actually have both of these so I am happy that I came across this video - which you did a great job on. My opinions: YSL Y EDP Intense - is a crowd pleaser IMO. A very safe yet unique scent. You can tell it's the Y Line, but it doesn't lean too heavily into the sweetness of some of the others. For me I feel like YSL always smells good, but lack in performance. This one with the "Intense" amped up certain notes and it does last a little longer for me. I catch wafts after 7-8 hours. As someone who has smelled/tested the Y line but didn't own any bottles - the better performance made this an easy pick up for me. Givenchy Gentleman Society: at 1st try I didn't love it. I tried it a 2nd time, loved it and picked up a full bottle at 15% off. To be honest, the more you wear this, the more you appreciate it. It went away from the Iris of the others in the Gentleman line. But to me this smells well blended, smooth, vanillic, floral, and Aromatic. Also, my wife loves Gentlan Society. Also about 2 weeks ago I had this on - walked in a room & someone told me I smelled amazing and wanted to know what I was wearing. This is a great evening/date night sort of scent that can also versatile enough for other occasions or daily wear IMO.

Got the 2oz bottle 99% full for 50$ I love it lol
