@@hjfragrances They aren’t regular compliments. Instead, women seemed baffled by it. Like they are smelling something they have never smelled before. But they all like it and think it smells calming, meditative and tranquil. I asked a woman last night to rate it and she gave it a 9.
Purpose is jamming good. I have a decant of it. I actually got 3 compliments on it yesterday which shocked me since its far from being a mainstream compliment getter. One from my Uber driver and 2 from women. I rarely get more than 1 or 2 compliments from wearing any scent..They all said its very exotic and rich smelling. It obviously goes great with my skin chemistry. This stuff means business and its powerful and rich! Not for for the faint of heart and more for older guys .
I couldn’t agree more, our opinions are formed on past experiences with scent. Just because my grandmother wore something that smelled similar to Guidance, and therefore reminding me of her, doesn’t mean everyone else’s did. Thanks for the input, it’ll be helpful to others, and it is insightful!
I appreciate the review but I can promise you that search is not light at all. Amouage sent me a 100ml of all 4. All are very strong and potent. Search Lasts forever on skin 10+ hours. I bought a bottle and go nose blind in 15min. Go to respray and my gf will stop me and say no you dont need more. The whole house smells like search lol. Guidance smelled like clean spicy floral vagina lol that ambergris is serious in this one.

No, she did not. She said it reminded her immediately of her grandmother, so I’m assuming that means it smells vintage.
I'm 31 and LOVE guidance! I don't think it smells vintage at all. I detest vintages. Everyone should test for themselves!
