What that guardswoman went through would be the equal of an angel coming down from the heavens and telling you "good job, you may now rest, warrior, God will watch over your soul".
What I most love of the scene of Primus with the guardswoman is that Marines normally see humans as "something else" and even Primus saw them as just "simple weak mortals we need to protect". But in that moment Primus kind of understanded the value and worth of humans, of how they fight too for their planet. On the other side for humans, normally marines are kind of myth, The Emperor's Angels, only a little portion of humans see a marine once in their life, and for her, to have an Angel watch over in her death's bed.. uff I love so much that kind of details and growth on Marines and how they recover their humanity little by little.
Hating on TAU is more of an inside joke than actual hate. The reason is that when they were first introduced they really didn’t fit into the 40k style, they didn’t look the part and in the lore they were good with no dark side to them. So being a tau player kinda made you 40k adjacent. Kinda like if you played an army modeled after the Jedi that was thrown into the Star Trek universe. The last part between. PRIMUS and the guardswoman was all from Richard's mind. Richard is a combat vet (2 tours) and wanted to show certain things Titans will only fight when other Titans are around. It's a matter of priority.
Don't cry for her. She died fighting not only for the Emperor and the Imperium, but also for her world, her brothers and sisters in arms. She even had the Emperor's Angel to stay by her side until she departed to meet Him on the Golden Throne. There is no better death a guardsman can wish for. And I say this as how it really is, no pretty words.
The Titan is better for wiping out large targets as you'll see later on It could be used for wiping out the hordes but is a relative waste of resources especially in the early stages of the battle.

The video colour is not to do with better animation but a deliberate artistic touch. The whole video is Grimaldous looking back at his time on Helsreach and the further back he remembers, the more faded the memory. As time gets closer to the story end, the memory becomes clearer and colour.
To answer shortly - Bureaucracy; and Titans are used as (kind of) last resort since they are from the dark of technology of humanity and the tech is lost. For more info on that look up Luetin09 video on Titans. Aslo some Titans are so powerfull they can end plantes sooo.... Yeah. That Titan showed in previous video is warlord class (i think) and that makes it even more special(rare).
Titans are built quite regularly, and even more so, Warlord pattern is the most common of them nowadays, and since Heresy it has been replacing older Reavers more and more. The only truly irreplaceable pattern is Imperator, but it has been true even during the Great Crusade. Luetin's video was quite disappointing because he couldn't even be bothered to read new Adeltus Titanicus books that contain the most recent information about the Legions
Not to mention that in the book version of Helsreach titans actually fired on the incoming orks, being the only machines in the city that could provide direct fire from behind the walls
All I am saying is it is a good intro into the lore (the Luetin vid), even if through time lore was updated. As for the video and book-it is a fan project so i look at it as movies adapt book and novel stories. Everyone has different images in their heads while reading the books, and movies can do them justice only so far.

Threat level is determined by the danger of the enemy, importance of the planets, size of the enemy forces, and many other factors. For instance cultists don't generally warrant much attention since the planetary pdf, who are generally less equipped and less trained than the imperial guard, can generally deal with them(in some cases the arbities who are basically just imperial police can deal with them.) However if those cultists managed to defeat the pdf then you would send in the guard. On the rare occasion that the cultists have the support of some traitor Space Marines with them or they have managed to summon some daemons then you would send a high force like the Sisters of Battle or the Space Marines.
The weapon is an Ordinatus, build after the first war. No Spoilers as the first war isnt going to be mentioned here. Infact a general history of Armaggedon. Armaggeons original name was Ullanaor during 30k, a planet first known by the Imperium as the heart of the then so far most powerfull ork empire discovered. The Lunar Wolves, Ultramarines and White Scars legion where send to break said empire. And they did so by outmaneuvering the orks. First they attacked the outlying systems making sure survivors could flee towards the core systems of that orkoid empire to make them counter attack. Horus Lupercal used this diversion by circumventing the near entirety of the horde but it still took some 100k Astartes Legionaires, 100+ Titans and about 8 million Imperial Army troops ( which btw are orders of magnitude better trained, armed and armored than 99.99% of all 40k Guard Regiments ) Later it was discovered that Ullanor was infact the actual Orkoid species homeworld where the Old Ones first created them during the War in the Heavens, which is why the Orks are so near magically drawn towards that planet. Ullanor during that time was conquered by the Imperium but then reconquered by the Orks only to be later once again conquered by the Imperium during the War of the Beast, a near galaxy wide ork empire uprising that nearly shattered the Imperium. Infact the Orkyborkis besieged terra(earth) itself. After that little something was over the planet got renamed into armaggeon and properly colonized by humanity. Only for 5k years later shit going donwhill even further than before. As Angron, the Primarch of the 12th legiones Astartes "the world eaters" now being a proper daemon primarch of Khorne came knock knock on heavens door asking for sugar. In tow with him billions of Khornate cultists and thousands of World Eaters plus the entire cruor praetoria - Khornes most powerfull and favored Blood Thirsters. Basically a dozen literal gods of war showed one day suddenly up and said waddup allyall. The Imperium won that battle phyrricly but only through sheer luck. As it turned out that despite the year long crisis and lack of food supply on armaggeon most military forces remained loyal literally in the face of hell. So when the Space Wolves showed up in their thousands responding the SoS call they managed to properly errect defenses and started fighting back agains the Khornate hordes. Which naturally drew Angrons attention who came and fought them directly. Fortunatly for everybody invovled other Imperial Forces also came running to the SoS call, first and foremost the Grey Knights ( Astartes who whos geneseed is based on the emperor himself who specialize in anti-daemon ass whooping ) who teleported in the midst of battle to fight Angron directly. Even then out of 109 of the most elite Grey Knights terminators who where send, a mere 13 survived, of whom most where either seriously injured or outright no longer fit for duty. This is where the "Weapon" comes in to play. The Imperium realized that if something like that happens again they needed to be ready. So the Mechanicum created specically for that the Ordinatus Armaggedon, Ordinatii btw are basically moving city blocks used annhiliate entire land scapes and cities in moments. This specific Ordinatus is a Nova Cannon, a main fleet killer weapon usually installed on capitcal class warships. They figured that if Angron pops up again asking this time for flour they can hopefully use this and make victory cleaner and more cost effective. The reason why the mechanicus didnt already deploy it already.... is politics and religious doctrin. Which becomes a plot point further into the story
I love Helsreach, im glad i got to read it before the War of the Beast. The shock/mindfuck that comes from knowing planet Armageddon´s history was great. Whoever finished Helsreach needs to read the Beast series and ONLY then look at the wiki about the planet.
Grimaldus us a good speecher because he is a Chaplain, that is part of their duty. As he said on the prologue, they are spiritual guides and war leaders, they are tasked with guarding the soul and morale of their fellow Astartes, and watch over their purity, notice their doubts and adress them. Chaplains are supposed to be both intimidating and inspiring. That's their role.
Planets are split into different categories. A manufacturing world is VERY IMPORTANT since you have to build stuff to build other stuff that you need. It takes time and resources to be able to get to use resources. To lose such a world is a VERY GREAT LOSS. In the SPACE MARINES game, you need to stop the green skins and then the forces of chaos from getting a hold of said planet. There are some vids on youtube that talk about every planet type in the 40k universe.
Well Armageddons possesion in Imperiums hands is an absolute necessity. Imperium does not cling to it only of stubbornness or because it became a symbol due to so many lives lost to defend it. You see Armageddon is made up name for this planet. Real name of the planet is highly classified. Therefore nobody in this series is aware of importance of the planet. Even orcs are drawn to it by instinct rather then knowledge making the planet an eternal battlefield. I don't know if you want me to spoil by telling you the truth. You can discover the answer why Armageddon is so important in the War of the Beast book series.
My personal favorites are the the Death Korps of Krieg and the Salamanders. The Tau aren't really that interesting to me, but I can see some of their aspects being cool, especially when it comes to Commander Farsight.
Spoiler warning, the tau leaders control their subordinated using pheromones. The tau are basically slaves to their masters. But that's not the worst thing that an empire can do in 40k. But they cannot fight in melee so they're shit!!!(Says the imperial within me)
Not being able to fight in melee is already a massive sin deserving of Extermination. End of the story 🧐 If only they had some chainkatanas then maybe...
The best way to learn something about the lore is to read about the things you find the most interesting. I started with the imperium. Than I got the Tyrannid codex and the ork codex. Than came the death guard codex. I'm currently reading "the path of the dark Eldar". Great book but every single character is brutal and sadistic piece of shit. I cn highly recommend it
I think the titans staying behind had more to do with the city walls being in the way! And I think the tau women problem is purely to do with the tau being anime-like
since you're enjoying WH40k lore stuff now, you should absolutely check out baldemorts guide to Warhammer. he's a lore tuber and tells a story at the beginning of every video, id definitely suggest his video on the night lords even if you dont know anything about them the story at the beginning is pure genius.
About deployment of titans on first engagement. You nead to measure forces attacking you first, and also, you never show all your tricks to your oponent at the begining. (Sory 4 my english)
Wanna listen to a well written crossover of Warhammer and Star Wars? Theres a mini series going right now thatll send chills through ya, my man. AFanWithTooMuchTime is the channel. If your intereted, his playlist section has it. 17 episodes long so far.
You can play for any faction what you want , because this is hobby and no one will blame you ! And no one will judge you ! Start playing for that faction that you want ! Actually we even have games about Tau empire - dawn of war dark crusade and soulshtorm , battlefleet ghotic armada 1 and 2 and warhammer 40000 gladius: relics of war ! Try some of them and maybe you lick them more ! I definitely recommend you to check dawn of war series and start with dark crusade is the best idea + battlefleet ghotic armada 2 is one of the best warhammer games ever ! But don't play warhammer 40k fire warior - it's absolutely garbage !

You can discover the answer why Armageddon is so important in the War of the Beast book series.
you are really not ready for episode 13 ^^
My personal favorites are the the Death Korps of Krieg and the Salamanders. The Tau aren't really that interesting to me, but I can see some of their aspects being cool, especially when it comes to Commander Farsight.
Those 2 dislikes are from tau haters
Spoiler warning, the tau leaders control their subordinated using pheromones. The tau are basically slaves to their masters. But that's not the worst thing that an empire can do in 40k. But they cannot fight in melee so they're shit!!!(Says the imperial within me)
Haha, thanks for the insight
Not being able to fight in melee is already a massive sin deserving of Extermination. End of the story 🧐
If only they had some chainkatanas then maybe...
I cn highly recommend it
Ep7 my favorit love a great speech
I think the titans staying behind had more to do with the city walls being in the way! And I think the tau women problem is purely to do with the tau being anime-like
The best episodes I think ! But the best if the final !
they do not melee
Farsight does.
ORKZ ORKZ ORKZ!
Could you react to Death of Hope it's the older 80s warhammer 40k before 40k its 30k.
since you're enjoying WH40k lore stuff now, you should absolutely check out baldemorts guide to Warhammer. he's a lore tuber and tells a story at the beginning of every video, id definitely suggest his video on the night lords even if you dont know anything about them the story at the beginning is pure genius.
About deployment of titans on first engagement. You nead to measure forces attacking you first, and also, you never show all your tricks to your oponent at the begining. (Sory 4 my english)
Play whatever army you like, the more people playing the better. But I am obliged to call you a heretic 😁
Wanna listen to a well written crossover of Warhammer and Star Wars? Theres a mini series going right now thatll send chills through ya, my man.
AFanWithTooMuchTime is the channel. If your intereted, his playlist section has it. 17 episodes long so far.
Can you leave a link?
Hay check warhammer Horus heresy books - thay are great ! And about Tau - Fire Casta by Peter Fehervary you will like it !
"Kda more" reaction pls, new league of legends song!
