"I'm not asking for your permission, I am asking if you wish to come with us." I can see Grimaldus smiling ear to ear under his helmet as he says that....... And you can't say much when an emperator class Titan walks by and says "you owe me for that Grimaldus."
Some things, like Imperial Titans were designed by the Mechanicus but integrate ancient technology that while they can recreate, they don't fundamentally understand how it works. There are cases of true pre-dark age Titans, these are exceptionally powerful, dwarfing the Imperial Titans but are also unbelievably rare, like literally a handful. Imperial Titans also do have an AI which while totally illegal, the Mechanicus just say it's a Machine Spirit to get around this, also the AI in these is more like an animal than a true intelligence. The Princeps is there to tame and direct this beast like AI but it can be incredibly difficult and if the Princeps is ever overwhelmed or lets their guard down the AI will consume their mind.
I personally like to see the increase in quality of the visuals in the series as the clarity of Grimaldus’ mind throughout the series, since in the beginning he was deeply conflicted with his role
Ultramarines don't outrank black Templars or the other way around. They descend from different lineages and follow different traditions. Ultramarines are older but both chapters are some of the most ancient.
Black Templars are descendant from Imperial Fists legion as part of the first founding ordered by Guilliman (before he got wounded and put into stasis at that point by Slenesh demon prince Fulgrim) after end of Horus Heresy. First chapter master for Templars was Sigismund 1st captain of Imperial Fist legion he got killed later by Abbadon the Despoler.
The titans were created after the Dark Age of Technology on Mars with the remnants of standard templates and technology that were left on it during the wars for Mars between different tech cults on its surface in the period between the collapse of old human galactic civilization and the Unification Wars/Great Crusade Era. In that time, three titan legions were founded - the Triad Ferrum Morghulus - Mortis, Tempestus and Ignatum. After the Mars was unified under the banner of forces more or less identical to nowadays Mechanicus, they began their separate colonisation of the galaxy, founding Forge Worlds and Knight Worlds, where more Titan legions were founded, such as Invigilata, for example. After the Emperor united Terra centuries later, he made a pact with Mars, and these forge worlds would serve as a forward bases and production facilities for the Great Crusade.
I mean, there were Titans during the Dark Age of technology but comparing them to current Titans does them no justice. It's been told that DAoT Titans were mostly known as mobile planetary and low orbital defense fortresses. There were more of them and were far more powerful. It's been told that comparing them was like a candle to an inferno.
When it comes to technology and why some things are able to be built and others not, is because there are STC for some items of tech. If you don’t know what an STC is Leutin has a good video on them
Fun fact; machine spirit is actually a cover word for AI. Since AI is outlawed in the imperium people prevent themselves from being violently murdered by referring to AI as "Machine spirits". So long as this AI has restricted intelligence this "rephrase" works fine
You can play a game where you can control and Imperial Knight titan, I think it's a Knight Errant titan, and you fight against ork titans and chaos titans.
boy, you should see the death of hope and Briki's Warhammer stuff! And of course, read some books about the universe + there is also a Warhammer fantasy - it is even cooler than 40K , but not Age of Sigmar - it is miserable !
No cringe man, children of the omnissiah is fantastic. Mechanicus has probably my favourite warhammer soundtrack ever.

I sincerely look forward to your Helsreach reactions. Thank you!

TREMENDOUS TERMINATOR DADDIES! (You’ll find out)
“As Hell no, you Imperials are just fucking weird.” Magnus the Red in regards to Cyber Cherubs
Terminator daddies one of my favorite lines
Those uniforms are the proper look of the Armageddon Steel Legion the proper guard force of Armageddon.

Great review, this and the others btw. Appreciate it.

@@KickBAc3 there were proto-titans, such as the Castigator pattern. But the patterns of titans existing now are all from the Age of Apostasy

Also AI in warhammer universe stands for Abominable Intelligence ...
@@derionone That too XD
What happened at 16:34? Error in editing?
I was wondering that as well
That was infact the case. The mistake was to setmy encoder to directly upload :(
Love the titan war horn
What is this soundtrack 30 min, after children of the omnissiah? This is Epic!
You can play a game where you can control and Imperial Knight titan, I think it's a Knight Errant titan, and you fight against ork titans and chaos titans.
The Omnissiah is the Emperor. The Mechanicus worship the Emperor as the Machine God.
Look about Warhammer "Death of Hope" - Treailer 1 and 2, and main Part 1. On youtube. Its beatyfull :)

@Orda Khan I swear I will do this ! In the name of warhammer univers and it's development !
Titan 1, Grimaldus coming up to bat...
It is called Free Blade.
Awesome, here we go!!!!
Nice one as always
Great review....Machine Spirit = Artificial Intelligence.
Heresy 😉
Have you never heard of gunship diplomacy, bout the only type of diplomacy the BT's practice.
Next episode review coming?
One wish granted
Its so odd the Mechanicus' beliefs. They abhor AI but the 'Machine Spirits' are also AI. It seems like what they consider AI is very very loose.
react to KDA more
